Father God Almighty, I pray for this public servant in accordance with with your holy word that ��The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of God's calling in you.( Eph 1:18 )... And that your wisdom be as the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what their nation ought to do; (1Ch 12:32). For these are troubling and confusing times for our nation and this fine servant of the people deserves our prayers that the very best decisions be clear, that confusion be driven away. Let his hearing discern rightly if the truth or vanity in the presentations before him. That he have confidence in the right decisions in all things brought before him. Lord Jesus in your mighty name we pray for the health, safety, and prosperity of your servant, his family and loved ones, his staff, and those he represents. Amen, Amen.

Father, I bring Representative Davis before Your throne of grace. I pray that he knows You, as he does serve as a deacon in the church. May Your hand rest on him, reminding him to seek You first in all that concerns him. May his focus be stayed on seeking truth, not following the opinions of others, even when it is not popular. May he defend and support the Constitution, stand in support of Israel and protect the sanctity of human life. Open his eyes to understand the truth, rather than continue to support things that are not accurate. Lord, draw him to You and protect him and bless him. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Dear Representative Davis, May the fear of the Lord never leave your heart, may you hate evil and know the God and Creator of all the earth deeper and never forsake Him. May wisdom abound in you that you will purpose to sift out all evil from our land that the Gospel will be freely preached in America and through the world. Amen and Amen

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Danny Davis has taken deep root. We pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Representative Davis is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he represents Illinois in the House of Representatives. Faithful Father God, I pray that Illinois Representative, Danny Davis, would lean on You and trust in You with his whole heart. I pray that he will not consider his own thoughts or the words and plans of others to be sufficient, but will seek Your instruction and wisdom above all. I pray that in word and deed, he will acknowledge You as sovereign and experience Your leading, provision and protection in mighty ways.
