Reading Time: 4 minutes

Over the last several years, General Michael T. Flynn has been through a heinous amount of deep state harassment. Through it all, he has become “the people’s general,” encouraging patriots across the nation to stand up and use their voices for righteousness and justice. Through it all, you have been praying for him and praying for justice in his case. Finally free of the unjust charges brought against him, General Flynn is on the forefront of the battle for election integrity.

I feel an urgency around praying for this mighty man of God—and that the church should rise up and pray for him also.

Would you please join with me in prayer for General Michael T. Flynn today?

Let’s pray this together:

“Father God, we come to You in Jesus’ name. Heavenly Father, we thank You for raising up General Flynn to stand for righteousness and justice in this nation. We thank You for the presidential pardon recently issued to him, giving freedom to this innocent man who never should have been targeted by the forces of darkness.

Father, in the aftermath of General Flynn’s persecution by the deep state, we lift him up to You. First, Father, we ask that You would heal General Flynn and his entire family from any trauma inflicted upon them during the past years. Restore their health, finances, and peace of mind. Restore the joy of their salvation if it is diminished in any way, Father, and bless them.

For everything the enemy has stolen from General Flynn and his family, Lord, we ask You to force the enemy to pay it back seven times over. For everything this man of God has lost, we ask You to give him back more blessings than he ever had before—and we ask You to even award him punitive damages because of all he has endured.

Father, we don’t know what future role You have in mind for General Flynn, but You do—and we believe You want to use him mightily.

You haven’t brought him all this way for nothing, Lord. Your plans for each of our lives continue, and we know that You have good and amazing plans for General Flynn and his family.

So Father, in Jesus’ name, we ask today that You would preserve him and keep him alive. Keep him healthy, well, and vibrant. We pray that his eye would not dim nor his strength abate. Keep him strong and rebuke the devourer for his sake.

Father God, we ask in Jesus’ name that You would give General Flynn favor, wisdom, and revelation. We thank You that his steps are ordered by the Lord, and You delight in his way. Therefore, Father, show him clearly what You have for him to do. Order his steps in Your Word. Instruct him and teach him in the way he should go, and guide him with Your eye upon him (Psalm 32:8).

Father, make Your grace a tangible force in General Flynn’s life today.

Come up under him and lift him up on the wings of Your Spirit. Position him in the right place, at the right time, and with the right people—and deliver him from the wrong people, from the wrong places, and from every wrong situation. Honor him at every opportunity as he has honored You.

We ask, Father God, to the extent that You desire to use other people to put General Flynn into the position You have for him, that You would put him on their hearts:

  • Whisper his name into the ears of people You desire to use to give him favor and opportunity.
  • Shine Your spotlight of favor upon him everywhere he goes.
  • Send angels to minister to him, help him, and protect him.

We speak to every door that You desire to open for General Flynn, Lord, and we say: ‘Doors, open in Jesus’ name!’ And we speak to every door that You desire to close for him, and we say: ‘Doors, close in Jesus’ name!’

We speak to the path that You have for him, Lord, and we say:

  • Let the mountains be brought low;
  • Let the valleys be brought up;
  • Let the crooked places be made straight;
  • Let the rough places be made smooth;
  • Let the glory of the Lord be revealed, and let all flesh see it together, in Jesus’ name!

Father God, we ask You to restore the years the locusts have eaten in General Flynn’s life, and in the lives of his family.

Bring them into happy years of prosperity. Let them have the joy and wonder of those who dream, for You have restored them out of captivity. For every tear they have sown, let them come in rejoicing, bringing in their harvest.

Reward this man of God for his faithful service to You and to our nation, Lord. Strengthen the warrior spirit You have placed in him. Help him to rest in You while still fully fulfilling Your purposes for his life. Glorify Your own name in him and in his family, and let their latter years be even greater than their former years.

Thank You, Father. We’ll give You all the glory. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, amen.”

Friends, we don’t know whom God is positioning for future roles in this nation. However, it is clear to all that General Flynn is a man of integrity and patriotism. Over the coming months, let’s continue praying for this mighty man of God who, despite the enemy’s brazen and unsuccessful attack, continues to fight the good fight of faith so powerfully for our nation.

I have been so blessed by what I have seen in the character of General Flynn. Here is a man ruined in the eyes of the press, pardoned, and then he comes back roaring like a lion to defend the president, his Commander in Chief and yes, our Commander in Chief, God, the Father. I know that God is using him for such a time as this as he did Esther in behalf of the Jews. Here is a man that knows what it means to battle and for that, I believe, we will all benefit. I pray that the Lord will give him supernatural discernment and wisdom and plans that will thwart the enemy at every turn. Our God reigns and He shall prevail if we faint now.
