Beautiful!! Someone once said “Singing is praying twice” and I believe it drives the enemy of our souls fleeing. It is evident our world is getting increasingly darker, more decadent, more self-absorbed and selfish, more Babylonian. Nothing is new under the sun. Our own Nation has been politically adopting this pagan Babylonian ideal for decades and we are seeing the rotten fruit of the lies being perpetuated on people as if all the ugly it represents is actually beautiful and good. We need to pray, we need to sing even if it is dark all around us. The dark must flee in the presence of the Light we hold in Christ. Praise, honor and glory all belong to the One who sets us free. So sing, praise, shout halleluiah, witness to the glory of God, those who sit in this darkness. They are held captive and don’t even know it, let them see, experience and feel the love that is found only in Jesus, for it is only Jesus who can set them free.
