We received this word from Gloria, an IFA intercessor friend, after hearing the final vote on the House impeachment of the President. The strategies for prayer that the Lord showed her may be helpful to you as well.

I have been praying for the President and the hearings for weeks. Yesterday after hearing the votes, I began to feel anxiety. I reminded myself that God is aware of our nation. God is aware of what is going on. It did not take God by surprise, though many might be worried or shaken, Almighty God is not shaken. After reminding myself of that late last night I stayed in prayer and felt the peace of God. I will share how the Lord has led me to pray the past few weeks and why I believe it is relevant to the impeachment. The Lord has been leading me to pray that the enemy would “show his hand.”  It’s my belief that this “impeachment” is part of the plan. This is their “hand,” although this is not God’s plan. Yesterday I prayed and my reading is in Psalms. I kept reading in Psalms over and over about the enemy “falling into their own trap” that they have laid out for the godly.  I made that a part of my prayers for our President and nation. Everything I have been reading in the past few weeks points to a righteous God who keenly aware of the injustice and corruption behind the scenes. The week before I read Esther. I read how Haman plotted the death of godly Mordecai and the Jews. The end being vindication and Haman being hung on the gallows. This is again the picture of justice. Haman hung on the very pole, that he intended for Mordecai. He fell into the trap he laid out for the godly. This morning in my reading seeking God, I asked for him to show me how I can pray. In Matthew 27 I read “Judas hung himself” and I couldn’t help but feel that’s another picture of justice. While I am not praying for anyone who opposes freedom, our nation, our president to be hung literally; I feel it could be that they will fall into their own trap that they have laid out for the President.

Another thing I have been praying is the spiritual aspect of Judas and Haman. They are both pictures of the “betrayer.” I have prayed for a long time for God to expose and remove those from the President’s circle. Those who he may be unaware of who pretend to support him, but inwardly are against him. For those who are in his circle who are giving bad counsel to be removed from his circle.

Last night I sought the Lord before the votes and asked how can I pray for the President? The Lord replied, “Pray for his peace and prosperity.” So I prayed that in the face of slander, accusations, attacks against him and his family, that the peace of God would be with him and his family. I asked God, “how can I pray for our nation?” The Lord said, “Pray that the truth would be uncovered.” That is exactly what I am praying. While the world is watching, every eye will be opened to the truth. Who truly corrupted our government, who was behind it all. I believe that every eye will see, and turn to God when all is revealed. With his mighty hand and outstretched arm, I believe in the true and righteous justice of God. I believe his vindication is closer than we know.
