UPDATE: Tom Emmer has secured the Republican nomination for House speaker.
UPDATE: Hern has been eliminated and Donalds dropped out. In the most recent round of voting, Emmer won 107 votes and Johnson won 56.
UPDATE: Austin Scott has also been eliminated. That leaves four candidates: Tom Emmer, Kevin Hern, and Mike Johnson, and Byron Donalds.
UPDATE: Jack Bergman and Pete Sessions both lost the Republican nomination. Two candidates, Dan Meuser and Gary Palmer, have dropped out. That leaves five candidates still in the race: Tom Emmer, Kevin Hern, Austin Scott, Mike Johnson, and Byron Donalds. We will continue to update this article as more information becomes available.
The Speaker of the House is third in line to the President of the United States. If the President is incapacitated, the Vice President becomes President. If the VP and President are incapacitated, the Speaker becomes President. IFA’s South Carolina Prayer Leader has provided these excellent prayer points:
PRAYER POINT #1: Continue to bind the powers of darkness attached to the U.S. presidency.
Currently, Satan is unable to grasp and hold onto the Speaker position, being held off by intercessors’ shields of faith.
PRAYER POINT #2: Continue to shield the Speaker position from the powers of darkness. Tell them: “In the Name of Jesus, you cannot have this position.”
God’s will is for the will of the American people to be reflected in the person holding the Speaker position.
PRAYER POINT #3: Call forth the will of God for the Speaker to reflect the will of the American people.
PRAYER POINT #4: Intercede for the cleaning out of the corruption in our government. Pray against civil violence trying to force a result.
PRAYER POINT #5: Then release the Hand of God to move, releasing the public’s will, and sweep the right person into the position, removing the demonic influences in the process.

After years of the threat of N. Pelosi becoming the President, if something happened to the President & Vice President, I’m thinking ANY conservative is a much better idea than she was. Most of the people in the list of those seeking or being considered for Speaker in the above article I’ve never heard of. Maybe that’s not a bad thing, but it is scary not to know WHO they are.
Not all “conservatives” are actually conservative. Democrats run as Republicans. We have a self-described witch who is being portrayed as a normal ordinary citizen running in our County for office.
Heavenly Father,
Reveal the character of each one of these men listed above. As I write this prayer, thank You that Representative Emmer was rejected and that Representative Mike Johnson now has the support of the Republican Caucus. On the surface, his bold questioning of the corrupt results of the 2020 election gives us hope that he’s a true Biblical conservative. If he is Your choice for Speaker of the House, please place him in this position. If not, replace him with a true Godly man who lives and breathes Your Word.

I believe that Jim Jordan would have been a great Speaker of the House. He was voted out because some were afraid of his policies.

Heavenly Father in accordance with your word we decree and declare truth, righteousness and justice in the Speaker of the House of Representatives position For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.
Is the individual trying to win the approval of human beings or of God? If the individual elect is trying to please man he or she would not be a servant of Christ. Then who can be trusted with little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much and God you see each lawmaker’s heart. Are they worthy of this position and if you say “YES” we declare and decree the door is open to him/her and your will be done in Jesus name. If you say “NO” we declare and decree the door is close to him/her NOW in Jesus name.
We bind that spirit of pride, corruption and self importance and release the Will of God being done, the armor of God to guard against pride and self importance, the love of God and let the people who walk in darkness in our nation see the light and let Your light God shine upon those in the shadow of darkness. I/We pray for the leaders of my nations to come to the light.
Lord God so give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. We decree and declare your church not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to God.
As the Lord brings righteousness and judgement to our nation I/we thank you for your mercy and truth.

There is not enough information within this article to decide who Your people want to lead the House of Representatives. We know that the 25 who secretly voted against Jim Jordan align themselves with the Kevin McCarthy wing who is controlled by his World Economic Forum handlers. Because we don’t know who of these 9 are Godly men, we ask You to install the leader who most likely lives and breathes Your Son’s Word in both his personal and public life.
We pray that You quickly clear away all satanic impostors to place Your choice in office. After all, You tell us that our government rests upon Your Son’s shoulders so please place Your choice in this Speaker’s position.
