Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes fought back after a Superior Court Judge ordered the release of 1,858 dangerous inmates over concerns about Covid.
In April the anti-American ACLU sued to ‘protect the medically vulnerable’ inmates at the Orange County jail and a radical judge sided with the ACLU.
Sheriff Barnes said he would immediately be appealing the judge’s order to the appellate court, calling the inmates a “significant threat to the public.”
“I have no intention of doing that, of releasing those individuals back into the community. I think they pose a serious threat,” Barnes said.
“We’ve released 1,400 inmates to date since March for low-level offenders. The only inmates remaining now are serious offenders,” Barnes explained. “Of the medically vulnerable, 90 of them are in custody for murder or attempted murder, 94 for child molestation.”
Sheriff Barnes said the inmates who have tested positive for Covid-19 are asymptomatic.

Share your prayers for this sheriff who is trying to protect his community. There are other law enforcement officers all across the state of California and beyond who are being faced with the same requests by judges and governors to release prisoners because of COVID.

Lord, we pray for this official and his staff that you will protect them from corrupt judges and other officials. Annoint him with wisdom as he carries out his duties to protect the community.

Praise God for common sense! So rare in our leaders today. Lord Jesus, I pray that you will put a hedge around Sheriff Barnes and his family as he takes a stand for common sense. Please raise up others to support him and have his back. Give wisdom to those who are in a position of power so they can block these senseless acts. In the name and power of our Lord Jesus, I ask that You, Lord God, STOP the enemy in their tracks. Reveal their corruption and place uncorrupt judges before them. Let justice prevail over all! Sheriff Barnes may God bless you, protect you, and may you be honored for standing in the gap! These are the types of men that should be leading our cities, counties and states. God rewards those who protect the innocent and stand up for those who may not be able to stand up for themselves. May more men/women like Sheriff Barnes rise up in our nation and guide it back to our precious Heavenly Father.

There is a deep dark agenda on setting these corrupt people free. Thank G-d for a sheriff like this one. I hope many more sheriffs will man up or woman up in doing the right law abiding decision in their counties or jurisdiction. Continue to pray for our leaders.

Thank you for doing your sheriff’s job description with the constitution. It is appalling on letting criminals of this magnitude back into society and harm more innocent children and adults. If you want to be a sheriff learn the constitution. Learn the golden rule and act like a Christian.
Dear Lord I praise you for this Sheriff standing up against unrighteousness I just trust in you to strengthen him Lord to encourage him I pray that you would Grant him boldness that the adversary cannot gainsay or resist I trust in you Lord that you give him wisdom and discernment I pray Lord that you would protect him and his family. Thank you for this Sheriff’s determination to refuse a judge’s order. We pray for Your favor upon this man. We seek Your protection for him and his family and his staff. We realize that the warfare continues in the heavenlies and pray that Your Word will go forth and not return to You void but shall accomplish what You please and prosper where You send it. We pray that You would send Your Word to the heart of this Sheriff, his family and his staff by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Please raise up laborers into his field of harvest so lasting fruit may come from this circumstance. Allow his example of courage to inspire and motivate others in authority to take a stand against orders that would put the public in harm’s way. Lord, our police, every person vested by the legislating state with police power and authority, are under the attack of the enemy of our souls. We stand against the strongholds that have caused lawlessness to have it’s way. We stand in the gap for those in the police force and ask for forgiveness for those who are not faithfully keeping their code:

I lift up Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes and ask You to pour out the blessings of Heaven upon him. Put Your angels around him protecting him, his family, and his department. I ask that the people he serves rally around him in support, and You deal with the judge in Your righteousness. Let Your justice prevail!
