WHAT DID DR. DOBSON CALL “UNQUESTIONABLY EVIL”?
I’ve long thought that Roe v. Wade was perhaps the greatest evil ever endorsed by the U.S. Supreme Court. While it is no longer surprising, it is horrific that some of our politicians continue to promote and defend the murder of innocents through the evil of abortion, and it is equally appalling that we as a society continue to stand still for it.
“But less than two weeks ago, we witnessed a new moral low in our society’s disregard for human life when Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf vetoed legislation that would prevent the targeted murder of unborn children with Down syndrome.
“Let me state this plainly: Children with Down syndrome are being systematically eliminated through abortion. This is high-tech eugenics. It is not just wrong, it is unquestionably evil at its core. Every life is precious. If you’ve met children with Down syndrome, you have firsthand knowledge of how special these boys and girls are.
Recognizing this, the Pennsylvania legislature passed a bill that would have prohibited abortions “sought because the unborn child receives a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome.” Governor Wolf refused to accept even this most basic protection for the most vulnerable among us, and incredibly claimed there was “no evidence that such a bill was needed in Pennsylvania.”
The dismal reality is that this bill is needed not just in Pennsylvania, but across our country. In the United States, approximately 70% of women choose to abort their unborn children diagnosed with Down syndrome. In a country that was founded upon the ‘unalienable rights’ of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, it is outrageous that we would tolerate the intentional onslaught of these innocent children.
Eight other states have passed laws restricting abortion of babies with Down syndrome, but many of these laws are not being enforced due to legal challenges. A group of U.S. senators has also introduced a bill to prohibit abortion of children on the basis of a Down syndrome diagnosis. While it astounds and sickens me that we need such laws, the tragic reality is that we do, and we need them now. Please contact your local legislators and let them know that these children have a God-given right to live. The Lord loves these innocent boys and girls with Down syndrome, whether born or unborn. They are precious in His sight.

JESUS, I Hand Her to You
A little hand raised high in the air,
Wondering if anyone cares?
She reaches for the hand of God,
As pro-lifers we need to applaud.
It is way beyond time for the truth to be told,
Like JESUS in the temple, we need to be bold.
Sold out for life is our call,
Not one more child, Lord, let fall.
Hands raised across our nation,
Standing firm for abortion cessation.
The killing applauded from the gates of hell,
We need to speak up and forever tell.
Every abortion kills a living child,
Why does that not drive everyone wild?
Are these deeds of darkness in control,
As every lost life takes its toll?
JESUS, rend the heavens and come down,
Rivers of blood are all around.
Hearts must change and be broken,
And the word “abortion” must be spoken.
Stolen property You need to take back,
Expose the difference between lies and fact.
JESUS, we cannot do this alone,
The horror of it all chills to the bone.
Let every mother hear as you end the strife,
“Mom, take my hand, not my life.”

No Present Under The Tree
It was the night before Jesus was born,
Mother and Father eyes were worn.
They traveled a long way,
With no place to stay.
Yet they answered the bell,
The Bible would live to tell.
The One and Only born to die,
Long ago I stopped asking why.
Every Christmas I look at the tree,
I see Jesus, His Blood, His saving me.
I ponder the little children He so loved,
Falling on Him like rain from above.
Like the curtain in the Temple, my heart is torn,
And I lament and become forlorn.
I think of the unborn children who are no more,
Never knew Christmas and what was in store.
Oh, if their mother could have just let them be,
The ultimate present under the tree.
I believe Downs Syndrome Children are sent to selected families to teach the purest form of love! To change hearts and even heal families. I have one in my my family.
LET’S PRAY FOR ENOUGH VOTES TO OVERTURN THE VETO!
Yes, they are blessings! I have Christian friends that would testify to this: 2 have Down Syndrome children, one has a Down Syndrome grandaughter. All loved and precious.
I have a neighbor with down syndrome. Brittany is a good girl that loves people. I’m glad she is here to brighten up Menard Ave. With her smile.
Lord thank You for all the beautiful life You bring into this world. Thank You for each person, especially those who bring smiles to others. Every neighborhood has its down syndrome neighbor. May we value every life You bring into our lives. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Amen….I agree wholeheartedly to your prayer!
Oh God have mercy on us and forgive us for being so ignorant. We don’t always know what’s good or what’s right. Help the helpless who can’t even help themselves. Have mercy on those who have sinned against you. You are merciful, kind, and true.
I personally worked for the state and took care of people with downs syndrome and other mental disabilities. They are all precious and deserve to be treated with respect and live their natural life. I believe God puts these people in our lives to see how we treat them. I have been blessed many times by these people and think it is a disgrace that we have to make laws to protect them. May the Lord put in the hearts of our governing officials to protect them even before they are born.
