A couple came to my psychotherapy office because their 8-year-old son was having trouble at school. He couldn’t sit still or focus on class work, and sometimes he’d act disruptively to get attention. The school had labeled the boy as having attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder and urged the parents to see a psychiatrist—who immediately prescribed a stimulant.
American children have a drug problem. The use of psychiatric drugs to treat ADHD, depression and anxiety in children and teens has been increasing and is excessive. The family I saw was a case in point. The medication suppressed the boy’s behavior, but it also made him anxious, irritable and sleepless. His parents came to me seeking an alternative.
I asked questions about the family’s history and learned that mother had suffered from postpartum depression and the parents had separated when the boy was 3, later to be reunited. The son was a sensitive and fearful child, who suffered from anxiety and whose ADHD-like symptoms were first observed after his father left the home.
The family had never sought therapy or made the connection between the boy’s early-childhood experience and his symptoms. . . .
A study published last year in the Journal of Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychology found that some 5% of American children were on stimulants like Ritalin and Adderall to treat ADHD and behavioral problems in 2016. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported a nearly 400% increase in antidepressant use in patients between 12 and 19 between 1988 and 2008, the most recent year for which data are available.
Yet many of these young people don’t actually have ADHD, clinical depression or anxiety. A 2000 study found that the majority of children and adolescents who were being medicated for ADHD did not fully meet the diagnostic criteria for the condition . . . .
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends behavioral therapy, not drugs, as the first line of treatment for mental illness in children. But a 2014 Ohio State study showed that the majority of kids aren’t being properly evaluated or being offered psychotherapy before being medicated. . . .
[T]he use of drugs as a quick fix does not help children become emotionally mature or resilient to stress. Instead it teaches them to avoid painful or uncomfortable feelings. Medications can also have significant side effects, including addiction.
As a psychoanalyst, I treat many families with children who have been diagnosed with these disorders. The kids are almost always under psychosocial stress because of trauma, damaged family relationships or pressure to achieve. . . .
Psychiatric medication is an important tool in treating serious mental illness. But it’s no substitute for attention, understanding and connection. (Excerpted from The Wall Street Journal, commentary by Erica Komisar.)

All of the ladies comments above are true! We must pray for the word to get out about the dangerous neurotoxicity contained in vaccines. Now a Democrat congressman, Adam Schiff, has asked M Zuckerberg to censor any anti vaccination posts on social media. And true information is disappearing. Robert F Kennedy Jr is a strong advocate with his Children’s Defense organization. Pray for him and true journalists and courageous people to be David’s against the Goliath of the pharmaceutical powerful industry. I’ve just learned more lately as our state is trying to mandate vaccinating all children.
We see over and over through the years that it’s more s question of how the bill is paid. Private insurance Medicare Medicaid or pity those with no insurance and this no medical care. Happens every day..
We are over-medicating the adults as well. I pray that we learn to rely on Jesus instead of our pharmacy. Amen,

And that my friends is what is going on…it is demonic and as previously stated, “we need to pray!”
Yes, this is true information. The pharmaceutical companies are lining their pockets at the price of our health and well being. Insurance companies are a part of it also. They will not cover any natural remedy for healing, only drugs that rarely heal but only mask symptoms and usually add some kind of adverse side effect(s. Healing and health is NOT the goal of these companies, only making a profit.

Over vaccination is damaging our children. They mandate 52 vaccines by the time your child is 5 years old and up to 82 by 18. In 1986 the pharmaceutical companies were given complete immunity of any harm caused by vaccines. Within 5 years of this immunity the vaccine schedule went from 15 in a lifetime to 42 by 5. Unfortunately 1991 when my second son was born the schedule had almost tripled. My son, now 27, is nonverbal and severely damaged at 17 months 15 hours after shots. We’ll care for him for life and sadly our story is the same as millions of other families. We are demonized and ridiculed. The rates of adhd , autism(which is really encephalitis/brain inflammation) rose to approximately 6,000%. With no liability the pharmaceutical companies have nothing to lose. Sadly pharmaceutical commercials were allowed on tv when Bill Clinton was President and our media, that should be our watch dogs on these issues, get 70% of their income from pharmaceutical commercials……”ask your doctor “… the pharmaceutical industry is the biggest lobbyists in our government. They also teach our doctors that we count on very little about vaccines other than they are all safe and the schedule to give. Doctors are intimidated or destroyed if they speak out on any harm done by these vaccines and doctors get incentives for immunizing a high percent of patients. They get huge bonuses for insurance companies. We are now seeing pediatrician kick people out who won’t immunize because they also get fined for patients not immunized. You see it has nothing to do with our health h. Now they are pushing forced mandated vaccination for everyone. You won’t be able to work unless you’re up to date on all vaccines and they can add whatever they want to the schedule and you can’t refuse . They have also uncovered that the current schedule has never been tested for safety in the entire 33 years the pharmaceutical companies have had immunity. There is so much more information but Because of this ridiculous increase we are seeing a huge rise in developmental disabilities and auto immune issues like type 1 diabetes, asthma, eczema, colitis, and so many more.
Please pray for all of this to stop and be exposed. Where there is a risk there must be a Choice!! Read dissolving illusions by Dr Suzanne Humphries and educate yourself on the truth about immunization. Her book has research and historical data. But most important PRAY!!!!
Yes, Denise, I verify all that you said. I’m so sorry about your son, and grieve daily for the unnecessary loss of babies and children from these toxic witch’s brews in vaccines. I’ve read Dr Humphries’ book also, and her videos are very worthwhile, too. The revealing of conflicts of interest in this HUGE industry absolutely need to be exposed and no congressman should ever be in debt to pHARMa because of the illicit huge campaign and other “donations” (bribery). The “safe and effective” mantra has so brainwashed our culture and my own children that all of our 13 grandchildren have various degrees of damage. I do believe every vaccine causes harm. So thus you have brain swelling and gut issues. For example, the measles part of the MMR vaccine can be found in the gut of autistic children and create terrible havoc. When your gut (some call this your second brain) is out of wack then of course you can be dealing with depression, along with brain inflammation and swelling from aluminum and polysorbate 80. And a foster child that was in our family was so over-vaccinated and medicated it was just heart-wrenching to know and see what the state will do to the children. But I agree, that a major part of the exponential increase of special needs classrooms, overmedicating, and stress in families as they deal with damaged children, has totally been brought on by the horrendous vaccine schedule. There are other effects from rushing to mandate every vaccine at this point in time. They may not know when to say when. There are over 100 vaccines in the vaccine pipeline. Their greed is out of control. We all pay for the large amount of vaccines in our health insurance premiums for everyone’s vaccines that they are mandating. Hep B, for a sexually transmitted disease is encouraged on day 1 of life! I’m not sure if it is enforced yet. But in our state 3-4 Hep B shots will be mandated before starting school if all our vaccine bills pass. They are rushing to mandate HPV in 3 separate shots which has seen many lose their lives or total health and fertility from this. It is for cervical cancer, which is not a contagious disease and not one proof that it prevents cancer has ever been shown. I believe these vaccines are around $375. It is the most outrageous scheme to date in my opinion. Plus they are trying to get this mandated for 10-11 year old boys? Seriously!? This shows the disconnect these people have with reality and are really high on their evil deeds. And they say vaccines are a non-partisan issue, however I’m finding that Dems and Rinos are more willing to take away your rights (and weaken or kill you). I heard these following statements today, which should be a strong motivation for prayer because this is how THEY think: Less government, except with vaccines. We shall not comply, except for vaccines. Do not take my rights away, except with vaccines. I am pro life, except for vaccines. I am pro life, except for the ones used to make the vaccines. My body my choice, except for vaccines. Don’t trust the government, except for vaccines. The government/big pHARMa is poisoning our food, except for the vaccines. Glyphosate is bad, except with vaccines. Mercury is bad, except in vaccines. Aluminum is bad, except in vaccines. I am vegan, except when it comes to vaccines. I can sue if any product kills me or my child, except for vaccines. Informed consent, except for vaccines. Animal rights, except for vaccines. Religious and or philosophical freedom, except for vaccines. All lives matter, except for the ones harmed by vaccines, because of the “greater good”. One size does not fit all, except with vaccines. Transparency matters, except with vaccines. We believe her, except with vaccines. Over medication leads to addiction. For by sorceries (drugs) were all the nations deceived. The damage to people is the same whether the initial impulse for drugs was therapeutic or recreational. The suffering and bondage are the same also.
