“The harder I tried to be good, the more I got bad.” Derek Prince shares his personal story of how he came to find Jesus as the meaning and reason life is worth living. He describes how he tried good works, religion, philosophy, yoga, academics, and many other practices to find the meaning of life, but all those things left him empty. That is until he found Jesus. The instructions above say to share your personal testimony of how you found Jesus to be the true meaning of life. I am surprised that no one has done that – here is an opportunity to testify!

I am 73 years old and when I was 28 and pregnant with my first child my husband became very interested in returning to church. I had no objection but I was not drawn to the Lord the way he was. But I was willing to get involved and go to church.
I had never read the Bible, so I started there, having no idea what to expect. I don’t know how long I puzzled over the scripture when I said to myself one day that “this” – meaning the Bible, Christianity, Jesus – was too hard, and I was considering giving up on trying to understand and obey the Bible. At that moment, I had the Bible in my lap and open to John 6 – how Jesus fed the 5,000, then walked on water, then reasoned with the religious Jews about their motives for following Him around. He explains about being the bread of life, sent by His Father to give eternal life to those the Father gives Him. “For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”
After hearing the arguments raised among the religious Jews in the crowd, Jesus’s disciples said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?” In His reply, Jesus says, “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you – they are full of the Spirit and life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe.”
At this point the Bible says many of His disciples turned back and no longer followed Him. Jesus asked the Twelve, “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Wow. There I was, despairing of ever being able to understand and to follow Jesus. I WAS thinking of leaving, of giving up. Then I read Peter’s answer to Jesus’s question, and the words leapt off the page and into my spirit: “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life…” I KNEW in my spirit that there was no other way than Jesus, the Living Word of God.
Many years later my second son was having a lot of trouble with high school and I found a pastor who counseled me, but I had a twenty minute drive to get to my appointments. I turned on the radio and heard, for the first time, the voice and teaching of Derek Prince. I listened to his radio program on every drive to that counseling session for weeks. He became my favorite Bible teacher and I have read many of his books. Derek Prince is the reason I pray with Intercessors For America, and the reason I took the time today to listen to him tell how he came to the Lord and was called to be a Bible teacher. I had read it, but never heard him tell it. So I’m glad to give my testimony here today, and I continue to thank the Lord for Derek Prince. Let’s keep learning, praying together for our government officials, and growing to maturity in Jesus Christ!

Jesus found me. He chose to love me, EVEN though he knew me.
I will sing Hymn of Ages – Maverick City music
Precious Lord Jesus, Treasure of mine
Oh, what a privilege To be Your delight
Morning by morning. New glories I see
Oh, what a wonder. You are to me

And all of the promises, all of the praise
All of Your people have sung through the ages. No matter the season, the song is the same
Great is Your faithfulness, great is Your name. Great is Your faithfulness, great is Your name. Great is Your name.

God of our fathers. You’rе the God of our peace. God, thе Redeemer. Of all history
High King of Heaven My victory won
Still be my vision. Still be my song.

Thank you God for your great Love, mercy and grace. All creation sings of your Glory.
Amen.

Oh yes Lord\o/HALLELUJAH\o/ let the weight of Your Glory come down upon this Nation. Let those who will repent…repent and let those who will not bend low under the Glory until they recognize their need to repent. Open every eye to see that You are not a fable but that YOU ARE THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD…\o/HALLELUJAH\o/ Manifest Yourself before even in the midst of all doubters and unbelievers…have mercy Lord and give them all grace to receive You as Their Salvation and as their LORD So Be It in Your Glorious unmatchles Name
\o/🔥JESUS🔥\o/
