Regarding the next 72 hours of 12/28-12/30, I refer to God’s word in 1Pt 1:1-25, Derek Prince’s 365 day devotional “Declaring God’s Word” for Dec 28, Neh 2:4-5, Ezra 7-10, Ps 126, Pa 24:6 and prayers from Dutch Sheets “Give Him 15” for Dec 28 (https://dutchsheets.org/) (The Black Robed Regiment, day 52).
In this morning’s time in the word and prayer, I prayed the armor of God, read 1Pt 1:1-25 very carefully inquiring of the Holy Spirit on each line and prayed for close friends who are intercessors and for all the State House and State Senate members in the seven battleground states (incl NM). The prayers and reading of 1Pt 1-25 interweaved slowly, carefully as the Spirit guided me to ponder each word and then pray.

After some time, I started to see in my mind the broken and breached walls and gates that Nehemiah was faced with to rebuild. The walls and gates needed building. We are certainly in the same situation.
Praying in the Spirit, gradually, specific prayers came to mind: Fire of God, Boldness, Fierce Patriotism and courage for each of the seven State Legislation members (State House and State Senate). I prayed and read 1Pt 1 in a circle: read a line, prayed a line continuing to the end.
Then I read Derek Prince’s Dec 28 devotional: praise in the desert. Let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise. Reflecting on his WWII desert experience, Derek had, in a very negative environment, lost the presence of the Lord. After inquiring of the Lord answered that night with “Why have you not thanked me?” and “Why have you not praised me?” He had quenched the Holy Spirit; is this not also a lesson for us today?

I applied myself to praying in the Spirit and lifting up thanksgiving and praise to our “I am” Yah and God Mighty in Battle as I circled back into prayer for the Battle Ground State Legislators.

“Father God, mighty in battle, I praise and thank You because You are mighty in battle. You don’t leave us to war on our own, but you take up the sword and fight on our behalf. Thank You for being self existent and self sufficient. You need nothing, yet You created us out of Your love. Help us give You honor You so richly deserve as You pour fierce patriotism, Your fire, boldness and courage into the hearts and minds of all the State Legislation members of NM, AZ, NV, MI, WI, PA and GA. Your truth is marching on. Explosively expose all that is hidden so everything is in the light this week. Let us start to rebuild the walls of righteousness, truth and Biblical values in this covenant land that belongs to you so that the Gospel can continue to go out into all the world…and in our land. Amen”
