After a new Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) rule and victories in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals against Planned Parenthood, President Trump is set to cut $60 million dollars in taxpayer funding from the abortion giant’s budget.
Today on Jay Sekulow Live, we discussed a big victory for life, as according to HHS, Monday, August 19th is the first deadline for Title X recipients to provide “assurance and action plan documenting steps to come into compliance” with the new rule stripping abortion providers of Title X funding.

In March, the Trump Administration finalized the administrative rule by HHS to defund Planned Parenthood’s abortion business of up to $60 million dollars in taxpayer funds.
That was then challenged in Federal Court in California and Oregon, which is of course in the 9th Circuit. In a surprise ruling, the 9th Circuit in a 3 judge panel and then in an en banc order ruled against Planned Parenthood and FOR the Trump Administration, allowing them to cut Planned Parenthood out of Title X funds. We filed amicus briefs in these cases, and the court agreed with our reasoning…
The new rule requires Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers to completely separate its abortion businesses from its taxpayer funded services. That would mean housing its family planning services in separate buildings with separate staff from its abortion services. Essentially creating two separate entities.
But instead, Planned Parenthood chose abortion and thought it could fight the rule in court. But it lost….

Thank YOU, Heavenly Father, for hearing our prayers and bringing this victory against Planned Parenthood. I join with all those who ask that the USA be set free from killing our children and sacrificing their lives on the altar of our own self-centered lives. Open the eyes of those who are pregnant to see the TRUTH about abortion. Open the eyes of those who commit abortions, too. May they be aware of the sin they are participating in. Thank You, Father, that there is forgiveness for those who have been deceived and led astray to the abortion clinics. Help them to come to know Jesus as their LORD and Savior and find peace in forgiveness of their sins. Father, help us to help those who choose to keep their children. May we provide the assistance that they need to find a good home through adoption or their decision to raise their own child. Thank You, Lord, nothing is too difficult for YOU.

Father God, thank You! I consider this a true victory. I’m crying tears of joy! I’m fighting everyday for life, You know this, and today we have won a battle. I ask a blessing on President Trump for helping this to happen. This gives me great encouragement to continue the fight. Please continue to bless every pro life advocate’s efforts as we show love and care and encouragement to parents who choose to have their babies. Bless the parents and babies, too. Please help us christians to love those who choose to end the life of a baby, so that they can find forgiveness, and peace through a relationship with Christ. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen
Will the $60 Million be an ACTUAL cut, so that the Planned Unparenthood actually does not get these funds, or will it be in “the President’s Budget” as submitted to the Congress to act upon? Will Pelosi & gang be able to “adjust it” to their liking,
then to require a Veto to force them to accept it? How much “Wastington Games Room” is left in this area?
Thank You Lord for this victory to help save our tax monies from being used for evil. Please give us more victories in Jesus name. AMEN

Thank you for those who worked hard to fight for this victory. Thank you for moving on the hearts and minds of these judges. I pray that battle would also be won in the hearts and minds of our nation so that abortion would be unthinkable.
Dear Heavenly Father, We praise and thank you for helping sway, by Your Sovereign Hand the decision of these 3 judges (in the 9th circuit of all places) to rule against (cutting precious funding) of the evil planned parenthood. We praise You for thus victory and will continue to pray and trust that…
