First of all, it IS good news to hear that ANY US president has not committed conspiracy (especially with the Russians) or obstruction of justice to the point where there is ample evidence to support indictment or impeachment. However I do believe it was worth the investigation. Unfortunately, this president has continued his practice of lying/exaggerating, from his pre-campaign “birther” claim that Obama wasn’t a US citizen to his current claim of “COMPLETE EXONERATION”, despite Mr. Muller’s assertion that the evidence does NOT exonerate him. My ongoing prayer is that God will help Trump when he does right and stop him when he does wrong. (I could pray that for any leader.)

One thing more: is character important in an elected official? If you say “yes” and are an ardent supporter of Trump (and didn’t, as I did, vote for him simply as the lesser of two evils), then I claim you are a flaming hypocrite. Forget (for the moment) his historic sexual sleaze with Stormy Daniels, Playboy centerfolds, et al. He continues to personally and cheaply attack anyone who disagrees with him publicly: for instance, bereaved parents of soldiers who died in Iraq, Ted Cruz (“His wife is ugly!”), and John McCain (“what a loser; he got caught!”) multiple times now. The character of the president of the US should be an example for American values and morals. What behavior do we want our kids to emulate?

So, Lord, help him when he does right, stop him when he does wrong, give him good counsel and the wisdom to follow it.
