Having had some background knowledge of Derek Prince and followed IFA online sporadically, I became interested when I found out that there are state prayer groups. In the spring of 2022 I became involved in praying weekly with Debra and Mike Rudzik. Debra eventually asked if I would consider hosting an evening prayer call for Wisconsin. I immediately sensed in my heart the word that God had spoken to Jeremiah and others: “Open your mouth and I will speak through you.”

This has been eye opener for me as I have invested in our recent midterm election here in Wisconsin. I took the recommendation from IFA of going to voting places in the community of Madison and in parts of Dane County. After attending the fall Policy & Prayer Summit, in D.C., with some 45 other prayer enthusiasts, I became consumed with the passion to pursue every angle of prayer and influence. With a like-minded friend, I ventured out to over 130 facilities, libraries, churches, parks, and meeting establishments, and we met people, anointed the thresholds, and prayed through the buildings.

We saw several small miracles leading up to the elections, though none of this helped turn the tables. Yet, it was a great way to learn the city and to see so many institutions that are part of this capital!

I look forward to the future with IFA Wisconsin and what God has for us. It is a privilege to be part of the team with Mike and Deb. It is also amazing to take part in prayer with other state leaders who have the same passion for honoring the LORD as we do. And lastly, it is an honor to meet and pray for the leadership team of IFA, including the Board — and that we are all part of the legacy of Derek Prince in our beloved U.S.A.
