As the congressional hearing for Supreme Court justice nominee Amy Coney Barrett continues, the Left has made clear, based on their opening statements, that their disqualification of Barrett has nothing to do with her experience or ability to fill the position.

Senator James Lankford (R-OK) stated after the first day, “Not a single Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee discussed Judge Barrett’s qualifications in their opening statements. Instead they focused on criticizing President Trump and trying to make Americans afraid of Judge Amy Coney Barrett. Judicial confirmation hearings are meant to review a nominee’s qualifications and his or her ability to be an impartial jurist. The court is about the law, judges do not make policy. Trying to bully Judge Barrett or putting words in her mouth is unfair for any nominee.”

As the Democrats fight to prevent President Trump from appointing a third justice to the bench, it is important that we look at a greater confirmation process taking place from the Highest Court.

Since 2016 we have received prophetic words regarding change coming to the Supreme Court:

“I am greater than your Senate, and I am greater than your Supreme Court. I will shake your court again! And one who represented death, who was part of legalizing death to those who never had a chance to walk the earth, I shall take that which represented death of a ruling of a woman and I shall give back to your courts a woman who shall represent justice. 

And as this takes place, get ready because this is the new era that I’m speaking. There shall be a reversal of the laws upon the land that aborts the children in the womb and it is coming fast.” (December 31, 2018)—Hank Kunneman, senior pastor – Lord of Hosts Church (Omaha, NE)

The Spirit of God says, “Do not fear that my servant Justice Scalia has been taken, for some are crying out, “Why have I forsaken?” For I will show myself strong to prove that the so-called wise are wrong. For some will say that this is a miracle, for I am just getting started, this is not even close to the pinnacle, for what I am going to do with My America. For do not my people have eyes to see and ears to hear the two signs I gave, when they carried my servant’s body up the steps of the courthouse where to rest he was laid? Read the signs! Read the signs that were for all to see, and understand the words in this prophecy.”

The Spirit of God says, “5, that’s right, 5 Supreme Court Justices will be appointed by my new president, my anointed. I will choose 5 through my anointed to keep those alive.

I will stack the court with those that I choose, to send a clear message to the enemy, that you lose! This is the miracle that I will perform, so that MY COURT will be reformed.” (February 16, 2016)—Mark Taylor, excerpt from “Do Not Fear America”

“I will stack the court with those I choose.” The Lord was speaking then of what the Left wants to do now—stack the court, or, in simpler terms, increase the number of justices from nine to a greater number so that they can regain a left-leaning majority of justices.

Even though Biden and Harris both refuse to answer the simple question of whether they plan to stack the Court, rumblings of the Democrat’s plot to regain their slipping control of the highest court in our land was seen last year after Marco Rubio felt the need to introduce legislation that would keep the court at nine.

In an article published in 2019, Rubio is on record as saying, “To prevent the delegitimizing of the Supreme Court, I will introduce a constitutional amendment to keep the number of seats at nine. There is nothing magical about the number nine,” Rubio said.  “It is not inherently right just because the number of seats on the Supreme Court remains unchanged since 1869. But there is something inherently good and important about preventing the further destabilization of essential institutions.”

Rubio was responding to reports that some Democrats would consider using their congressional powers to change the number of justices on the Court if they were to regain control of the White House and both chambers of Congress in 2021. In one past incident in 1937, such efforts were called “court-packing.”

According to a former Democratic attorney general from Virginia, Andrew Miller, “Court packing by one party would almost inevitably lead to retaliatory court packing by another party, undermining the independence of the court and potentially the rule of law itself,” he said in a written statement.

Although our Constitution does not dictate the number of justices for the Court, nine has been the number since 1869.

As Republicans seek to fill the current vacancy, it is apparent that Democrats are on a different trajectory—to bring radical change to the Judicial Branch of our land and to weaponize this branch as they have done holding the majority in the House.

And yet we would do well to remember Who is the highest Judge and confirming Body in our land as we consider another prophetic word which came on the heels of the appointment of Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court:  

“With the appointment of this new Supreme Court justice, the tides have turned spiritually for America. My mercy has been unleashed anew. Righteousness in the court will mirror righteousness in the church. Both institutions are awakening to My righteousness-to the necessity of change, to the abhorrence of sin and evil.

“Awaken to what I want to do in this land. You’ve been asleep too long. Arise, awaken out of your slumber and laziness. As you roll out of your slumber, out of your bed, you must roll onto your faces. And cry out to me for mercy. It is available to you but you must ask for it with your mouths, your hearts, your actions. When your actions of obedience line up with My will, you will see a sudden turning of hearts to the fathers. It must begin with a repentant and contrite heart followed by clear actions.

“Revival is on the doorstep and like nothing this world has ever seen, but it begins with prayer, repentance and obedient actions. There is no room for pride, ego, and personalities. I’m going to use the most unlikely people. It won’t be the big-name preachers with big churches. I will work through those no one would suspect, so that it takes the enemy by surprise. Lord, we pray regarding the Supreme Court hearing of nominee Amy Coney Barrett and pray for a fair and civil process based on her qualifications. Lord, we ask for Your pick to fill this vacancy and that there would be no disruption to this process. We pray that any attempt to derail these hearings or to weaponize the Judicial Branch of our government would be stopped. 

Lord, we thank you for your hand upon our nation. We know You are a God of justice and righteousness and we ask that true justice would be restored to our nation, beginning in the Supreme Court and reaching every court in America.
