I Prayed have prayed
Lord, bless these students who were being salt and light. We pray their prayer locker could continue and inspire others!
Reading Time: < 1 minute

A Kentucky high school is shutting down a tradition allowing students to submit anonymous prayer requests so someone can pray for them.

Americans United for Separation of Church and State (AUSCS), a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit, sent a complaint letter Sept. 17 to Pike Central High School about the “prayer locker,” WYMT reported.

While the prayer locker has student support, the group says it’s a “clear violation of the separation of church and state,” alleging it was put up by school officials – but it was done by a student.

Emily Chaney, a sophomore at East Ridge High School who organized the unique prayer locker, plans to collect them personally, as she and her church will continue to pray over each one because she says it is part of her religious freedom….

“I hope they realize how beneficial this was to so many people,” Emily told Fox News. “I hope they realize they’re taking a huge blessing away.”

Father, you tell us to stand. Lord I pray for these groups that cower to the enemy. Lord too long we have allowed the evil one to take a foothold in the public square. It is time Lord for Your children to repent of losing ground, to be reminded that You gave us a book and we were to read to the end, You have already won the battle of good vs evil, therefore You dont call us to battle, You call us to stand. So Father, I pray You will embolden each of us to take back the ground we have lost in this nation, to stand for Your truths. Father, this is not religion, this is a relationship with Christ Jesus, our Savior Redeemer. Oh, most Holy God, we repent of letting go of such a unique nation such as this. Please hear our pleas O Lord, You gave us Your Holy Spirit, and by the power of the Gospel You tell us to go!. Now Lord, let each of us go. Go into the public square, into the schools, to the corners of our towns, to the mountain tops and stand and pray. And allow us to see how You will heal our land. Your word reminds to ask in Jesus’ name, and so Lord, as unworthy as I am to come before You, I ask in Jesus name for discernment, wisdom and for our requests to be acceptable to You like a fragrant aroma. Father, I pray for our elected officials, may they have hearts softened to Your guidance and given ears to hear of Your Son’s good news! May we live peaceable lives in the pursuit of life, liberty & happiness. Amen

Father, may the plans of the enemy fall back upon him, confuse him and entrap him.
I pray that someone will tell these students to contact Liberty Counsel or the Alliance Defending Freedom. These non-profit legal organizations address these types of issues. Often a letter from them to the administration or school district will reverse their previous decision.
May the Lord of Hosts have your way in our schools. May your name be exalted and revered. Protect and deliver our children from the enemy’s strategies.
In Jesus name, amen.

Father God,
We invite You to come into every school in the United States of America. We want You.
Organizations of people who are in rebellion against You cannot stop You.
We pray the manifest Presence of your Holy Spirit is evident in every classroom and throughout every school campus.
Please encourage and embolden those students, teachers and administrators who know You. Give them Your protection and guidance.
In Jesus name. Amen.

They made a big mistake by taking prayer out of schools. The results is evident, pure evils have crept in. May more young people take a stand in praying for their schools.

Separation of Church and State is not in the Constitution, read the Bill of Right-Ten amendments added to the Constitution in 1788. When will the schools start teaching reading, writing and history of the nation under God ?

When my daughter was in high school, back in the 80s,the school banned a Bible Study as an activity. The result, Many new students flocked to the study as a protest. They started carrying Bibles to school!
I pray that the students will see the injustice, and the hypocrisy, and turn to the Truth in Jesus.

With all of the violence that is taking place against our youth, why would someone NOT want them to pray. It amazes me that in this country, it takes just a few to shut down God’s will. Do they not know that when those children pray, they, too, are put under God’s protection? Where is the religious freedom that I hear so many of our politicians rave about? Just talk?
