I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we pray social distancing is a temporary solution to this pandemic.

This may be the new normal for quite a while.

The US may have to endure social distancing measures — such as stay-at-home orders and school closures — until 2022, researchers projected on Tuesday.

BIG BROTHER: NEVER LET A CRISIS GO TO WASTE

That is, unless a vaccine or better therapeutics becomes available, or we increase our critical care capacity. In other words, 2022 is one scenario of many.

That’s according to researchers from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, who published their findings in the journal Science on Tuesday. Those findings directly contradict research being touted by the White House that suggests the pandemic may stop this summer.

The team at the Harvard School of Public Health used what’s known about Covid-19 and other coronaviruses to create possible scenarios of the current pandemic.

“Intermittent distancing may be required into 2022 unless critical care capacity is increased substantially or a treatment or vaccine becomes available,” they wrote in their report. “Even in the event of apparent elimination, SARS-CoV-2 surveillance should be maintained since a resurgence in contagion could be possible as late as 2024.”

The Harvard team’s projections also indicate that the virus would come roaring back fairly quickly once restrictions were lifted.

“If intermittent distancing is the approach that’s chosen, it may be necessary to do it for several years, which is obviously a very long time,” Dr. Marc Lipsitch, an author on the study and an epidemiology professor at the Harvard School of Public Health, told reporters.

Another important factor: Whether people become immune to the new coronavirus after they have been infected. That’s not yet known.

Potential challenges include finding a reliable test to determine who has antibodies for the coronavirus, establishing the level of immunity conferred by previous infection and how long it lasts, and the capacity of overstretched health systems to carry out reliable, widespread antibody tests in the general population.

There’s also the difficult social questions around immunity certificates, which have been floated as a possibility in the UK. Would they create a kind of two-tier society, where those who have them can return to a more normal life, while others remain locked down?

The study researchers say they are aware that such prolonged distancing, even if intermittent, would likely have “profoundly negative economic, social, and educational consequences.”

They hope their research will help identify likely trajectories of the epidemic under alternative approaches, identify complementary ways to fight it, and to spur further thinking about ways to get the pandemic under control.

“Those findings directly contradict research being touted by the White House that suggests the pandemic may stop this summer.” “Touted” by our president and his team, CNN?

I’m praying God has a different plan than anything I might hear touted on CNN.

I pray that you would give each one of your children the conviction to stand their ground; whether it be their civil liberties, or their peace separate from fear. Cause us to pray about our anxieties as you instructed in Phil 4; and give us discernment and your wisdom. help us to use our common sense, our reason, and our logic to determine if local and state government are overstepping their place in our lives at a time of crisis. And help us lead the way in embracing our mortality, embracing that eternal hope of Heaven. I pray that our very suspect government would not take away permanently our liberties, dear Lord, in Jesus name, amen.

I believe the wrong word is being used! We should Not be “Social” Distancing! Rather, we should be “Physically” Distancing.
There Is a difference!

Lord we desperately cry out to You to change the hearts of men (and women) to follow You Lord and follow Your Word. I lift up our Leadership in America, the Coronavirus Task Force, Governor’s of each State, Congress, Senate and all those influencing the outcome of returning our Country to work, Worship in Churches, etc. Lord Jer. 1:9 ” .. behold, I have put my words in your mouth. Lord what was meant for destruction I pray will be used for renewal. Lord bring Repentance and Revival to America. May we be forever changed in our Praise for You, our Worship, our priorities, our marriages, families, how we work, what we use to worship vs You. Lord please heal the hearts of the American people and the fruit of this be the healing of our Nation. Lord help us understand Your plan and be zealous, sold out to do our part in its victory. In Jesus name I ask. Amen

Father! Please help us! This is frightening and I’m not sure there are people who really know what’s happening here. So I go to your Word and believe it with all of my heart and join with my brothers and sisters in Christ who love you as well as look to YOU for answers and only YOU will we trust.

Say to them that are of a fearful heart, be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense, He will come and save you! (Psalm 35:4)

Father, we thank you that you are in charge. You are sovereign. Break this virus we pray so we can once again meet as your people, greet each other, and hug each other. May we continue to look to you.
