The U.S. Attorney General’s office has just sued the State of North Carolina over their refusal to allow public bathrooms to be used by anybody according to the sex with which they “identify.” A few days later, the Education Department announced it would withhold federal education dollars to any school that does not comply to this transgender agenda. Where have we gone as a country?

Let’s be perfectly clear, our own government (the National Institutes of Health) has reported that the transgender population is less than one percent of our entire population. And yet, to accommodate this immoral behavior, we have literally opened the door to any sexual predator that wants to go into a public restroom and assault the women and children of our country. This will happen since men struggling with sexual addiction will not be able to control themselves. “Therefore, God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity….” (Romans 1:24, NIV)

It is not surprising that Governor McCrory has made this stand for moral decency and against federal overreach. The Church has been mobilized for months in North Carolina to stand in intercession. We must continue to pray for Governor McCrory and other governors, and city leaders, etc. who have the moral conviction to stand against this onslaught of religious freedoms.

Sexual assaults will come. It is inevitable. This trend must be fought! I encourage you to stand guard in front of the bathroom for your wife, daughters, granddaughters.

Stand guard physically. If people ask you what you are doing, tell them you are protecting the women and children of our nation. Stand guard spiritually and pray, “Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them….” (Isaiah 55:7, NIV)
