I Prayed have prayed
Father, I pray You would confuse the enemy as You did in the Old Testament when Judah was being attacked. May the Taliban, ISIS, al Qaeda and HQN all begin to turn their demonic rage toward one another and begin attacking each other. Spare the innocents, Father!!

If you believed the Taliban when they told the Biden administration that they were a more tolerant terror regime, then I have some bad news for you.

It has been reported that Danish Siddiqui, the award-winning Reuters photojournalist who was covering the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan, has been killed and mutilated by Taliban fighters…

The story goes that Siddiqui was hurt by rocket shrapnel and was left behind by the Afghan army he was embedded with when they retreated before he was found by the Taliban fighters…

He arrived at a Kandahar Afghan Special Forces base on July 11. He was then embedded in a unit of several hundred elite commandos that were attempting to flush out Taliban fighters that were capturing sections of the country…

Siddiqui was caught in the crossfire on July 16 as he was photographing an Afghan offensive in Spin Boldak. During that offensive, the Reuters journalist was injured by shrapnel from a rocket.

He was then transported to a local mosque to be treated. At that point, the soldiers withdrew from Spin Boldak, according to Afghanistan’s Special Operations commander Major-General Haibatullah Alizai.

The Afghan troops left Siddiqui behind…

British ballistics expert Philip Boyce of Forensic Equity compared the photos to x-rays and pictures of Siddiqui’s body once it was reclaimed after the Taliban left.

According to Boyce, the photos show that it was “evident that he was shot multiple further times after he was killed,” according to the Daily Mail.

Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, of course said the Taliban found his body that way and that the Taliban had nothing to do with it. So we are to believe that the Afghan troops he was embedded with did it?…

Reuters Editor-in-Chief Alessandra Galloni stepped up and in a written statement she said that she was the one who agreed to Siddiqui’s embed with Afghan Special Forces. “As editor-in-chief, I take full responsibility for the decision,” she wrote…

[Reuters Editor-in-Chief Alessandra] Galloni wrote that Siddiqui was “our brilliant colleague and devoted friend.”…

Share your prayers below for those currently in Afghanistan.

Father, we ask, in the name of Jesus, that you would make a way, where their seems to be no way, for the people that need to escape these evil, godless Taliban and other terrorists. You can open doors for them that no one can close. You can hide them until help and escape comes. You are a very present help, in time of trouble. Great is Your faithfulness!
Remove those,in this administration, who are responsible for this ungodly atrocity, from the top to the bottom, let them be removed!! Bring Your justice in this whole situation! Their are NO tolerant terrorists, they DON’T exist!

Our Father in heaven,

We humbly lift up to Your tender mercies those persons who are fleeing Islamist persecution over land in Afghanistan.
We thank You that when the Philistines mustered to fight Israel, the people hid themselves in caves and in holes and in rocks and in tombs and in cisterns (1 Samuel 13). We thank You that David escaped from King Saul to the cave of Adullam, and 400 men with him (1 Samuel 22). We thank You that David and his men escaped King Saul in the caves of the wilderness of Engedi (1 Samuel 24). We thank You that Obadiah hid 100 prophets from Jezebel in caves (1 Kings 18). We thank You that Elijah lodged in a cave when fleeing Jezebel (1 Kings 19). We thank You that the newborn Jesus was laid in a manger (Luke 2). We humbly ask that those fleeing persecution will find places of refuge and rest.
We thank You that Abraham escaped a famine in Egypt (Genesis 12). We thank You that Isaac moved to Gerar during a famine (Genesis 26). We thank You that some Hebrews crossed the fords of the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead while fleeing the Philistines (1 Samuel 13). We thank You that Joseph and Mary fled to Egypt from King Herod (Matthew 2). We humbly ask that persons fleeing persecution will find safe havens in other lands.
We thank You that You opened Hagar’s eyes to see a well of water (Genesis 21). We thank You that the priest of Nob gave David and his men the bread of the Presence when they were hungry (1 Samuel 21). We thank You that David gave the abandoned Egyptian slave bread, water, figs, and raisins (1 Samuel 30). We thank You for commanding the ravens and the widow of Zarephath to feed Elijah (1 Kings 17). We thank You for the heads of grain that the disciples of Jesus found (Luke 6). We humbly ask for provision for those persons fleeing Islamist persecution.
We thank You that David fooled King Achish of Gath by pretending to be a madman (1 Samuel 21). We humbly ask that persons who are caught will escape death by pretending to be what they are not.
Not a sparrow will fall to the ground apart from You (Matthew 10). We thank You that those fleeing persecution are of more value than many sparrows. We thank You. Amen.
