Prayer for Restoration of Jewish Assets
Prayer for Restoration of Jewish Assets
Did you know that billions of dollars’ worth of treasures were looted from European Jews during World War II — and that many of those treasures have never been returned to their rightful owners? It’s true. And although we gasp in horror at this, the fact is that Americans did some of the looting. It’s time to fix this. Will you join me in prayer?

Many intercessors pray continuously for the Jewish people, and for the nation of Israel — as we should!
We are always to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (see Psalm 122). And of course, God promised Abraham long ago that He would bless those who bless him and curse those who curse him. This promise applies even to the descendants of Abraham, the modern-day Jewish people.
But as for Jewish treasures that were stolen in World War II, I’m reminded of Isaiah’s words:
But this is a people robbed and plundered; all of them are snared in holes, and they are hidden in prison houses; they are for prey, and no one delivers; for plunder, and no one says, “Restore!” (Isaiah 42:22 NKJV).
According to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, soldiers of multiple nations looted Jewish assets during WWII. The obvious culprits were the Nazis, of course — but the Soviets, the other Axis nations, and even some Americans also looted European Jews of their treasures. It has been estimated that over 100,000 pieces of artwork, jewelry, unclaimed life insurance policies, gold, sculpture, and similar things are still missing. (Read the history of looted assets here on archives.gov.)
Beloved, it is time for these plundered fortunes to be restored. The looting of Jewish treasure is a known fact among art historians and museum curators, but not so much among the general population. Yet, the robbing of a fortune is a big deal! These stolen assets need to be exposed, found, identified, and returned to their rightful owners.
We need God’s help to see this made right. We can be the ones who cry, “Restore!”
Although you and I may not have the knowledge, ability, or resources to personally go find these assets and restore them to their rightful owners, we serve a God who does! I have felt for some years that this is something we will see major progress on if we could only agree in prayer.
So would you join with me in prayer today for Jewish treasures to be restored to their rightful owners?
Let’s pray as follows:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You are a covenant-keeping God. You always keep Your word, and You promised Your friend Abraham thousands of years ago that You would bless those who bless him and curse those who curse him. We praise You for Your faithfulness to Him, and we thank You for grafting us into the covenant You made with the Jewish people, the descendants of Abraham through Isaac.
Father, Your people Israel have been robbed and plundered many times through the millennia.
For our actions in this, and for the actions of our nation and of its soldiers, we repent, Father. Please forgive us and our nation. We are coming to You today on behalf of our nation, and we are asking You to help us make it right.
We specifically ask You to bring justice and restoration because of the robbing and plundering Your people the Jews experienced in World War II.
Lord, we can do nothing right now about many of the terrible atrocities the Jewish people experienced at the hands of their enemies in World War II. But there is one thing we can do, and one area we know for sure can be fixed! YOU can reveal, expose, and return the wealth and assets of Your people.
So, Father, we band together today on behalf of Your people Israel, and we ask You to restore their assets to them:
- Wherever the Jews’ paintings, sculpture, jewels, and any other kind of assets were stolen, REVEAL where they are.
- Put godly ones who love the Jewish people in the path of these assets. Deliver the Jews from any people who would deal falsely with them in this.
- Let these assets be examined by the right experts, who will deal honestly with Your people.
- Let every asset that was stolen be correctly identified as a missing and looted asset.
- Put it in the heart of every person in possession of such assets to return them immediately to their rightful owners.
- If law enforcement is necessary throughout this process, bring in the right enforcers who will deal rightly with Your people, and will adhere to the cause of righteousness and justice.
- Let the true owners be found, even if the asset can go only to descendants of the original owners.
Father, restore the fortunes of Your people Israel — even in these modern times!
We band together today and agree in prayer, claiming Your promise that“… if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 18:19b KJV). Moreover, we ask:
- that You would literally “return the captivity of Zion” by restoring these assets to Your people the Jews (see Psalm 126:1);
- that the people who receive them would be like those who dream: that their mouths would be filled with laughter, and their tongues with singing (See Psalm 126:2);
- that they would give You praise, saying, “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad” (Psalm 126:3 NKJV).
Lord God of Heaven and earth, we pray that You would use this act of restoration to draw Your people Israel to their Messiah, Jesus Christ. And we also ask that You would use our prayers and put them to our account as acts of repentance and restoration for every hurtful act that the United States of America has ever committed against Israel:
- from turning away Jewish refugees from our shores while World War II was raging;
- to any part Americans played in looting the assets about which we are praying;
- to seeing our presidents and Congress make treaties and covenants with Iran and other nations that hurt modern-day Israel;
- to attacking righteous leaders in Israel, and any other thing.
Father, act as only You can to provide divine recompense in every way to Your people Israel. And as You do, we pray that Jesus would be glorified; that Your people would be restored; and that they would receive sevenfold recompense for all their trouble.
Thank You, Father. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
This prayer may seem like a simple thing, but imagine the impact that even one restored asset could have upon one Jewish family.
Some of these assets could easily be worth multiple millions of dollars. If your family had been struggling for generations, robbed and torn apart in the genocide of an unholy war, think of the difference it would make to suddenly have your fortune restored! God can do that for every family that was looted, and He will, if we pray.
Did you agree in prayer today? Will you continue to, taking pity on Jewish families worldwide who had their assets plundered? Leave a word below!

Father God as I was reading scriptures tonight, which started in Isaiah 60, that led me to different scriptures. God I pray you would show me Gods promise to Israel and its people. God I know any words of promise will eventually come to pass, God already knows who has the stolen items of: “estimated that over 100,000 pieces of artwork, jewelry, unclaimed life insurance policies, gold, sculpture, and similar things are still missing.” God has not forsaken them they are His Children! “ Jesus said, “Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete” in John 16:24“ God something as important as an inheritance or family heirlooms, could mean a financial restoration to the Jewish families. In Isaiah 49: God can and will do the impossible, He speaks about restoration and restoring the plunder that took place, and He said it would be returned. V. 25 “ plunder retrieved from the fierce. He did it then and why not- would He do it again& again? God I ask in Jesus name that the Stolen items be found and returned to the rightful families: Then when asked by owners how did this happen, how was these items found. God will be given the glory, when the stories come out Intercessor’s prayed and asked God for help by praying and God honored their requests. I pray the Holy Spirit will manifest Jesus love over them and they will say I want to know this Jesus and thank him. I believe that the light of salvation will break all barriers and confidence will come forth as God once again will restore His children’s Faith in Jesus and what He did on the Cross for them. Psalms 91: God promises help when we ASK and need Him. God does not have any limitations to what he can do even if a hundred year has passed. All He wants from you( us) is to say thank you Jesus for what you do. V15 He will call on me and I will answer him, I will be with Him in trouble. Father We ask forgiveness if any Americans took what did not belong to them and make these people feel uncomfortable until items are restored. Jesus we ask that if any Jewish people know things were stolen, speak to their hearts that they need to be a part of the asking. I call it in /the wealth transfer to be restored back to these families to whom it belongs. Thank you Jesus I ask that your will be done. Thank you for your love and presence. There is no one like our God. 🧎♀️🧎♀️
Father in Heaven, thank You for all You’ve done for us by sacrificing Your Son for us. I ask that those who do not know You through Jesus Christ, will see Your overwhelming love and goodness towards those who believe in Him and through the restoration of their family heirlooms, but also receive Your Son as their Savior.
Thank You, Father, in the name of Jesus.
“It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. Nor because they are His descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.”
Romans 9:6-8
The LORD woke me up at 12:22 AM and immediately led me to read Isaiah 42:22 and then visited the IFA Webpage specifically where He instructed me to write an Article on Restoration of Jewish Assets.
Today, April 6th 2023 is exactly nine years since I was anointed with the Jewish Shofar in Indiana State (precisely on Saturday 6th 2014) that would be sounded in All the 50 States of the United States to Return to her Judeo-Christian Foundation as well as an Ally of Israel.
As I read through this article, tears gushed from my eyes as I read the Scripture from Isaiah 42:22 which says “But this is a people robbed and spoiled, they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.”
MY PRAYER
LORD, we have hearkened to the cry from Your people whom you love. It is You who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers because they sinned against you, for not walking in Your ways , neither were they obedient unto Your law. Therefore You poured upon him the fury of Your anger; and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart (Ref: Isaiah 42:23-25).
“But now dear LORD, You who created Jacob and formed Israel, I stand in the gap and Repent of all that Israel did to offend You and plead for his Redemption. When Israel passed through the waters, You were with him, and when they passed through rivers, You protected them from overflowing them. When they walked through fire, you prevented them from total destruction.
When You brought them back to their ancestral land in Israel, “You said to the north, give UP; and to the south, keep not back: bring My sons from far, and My daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by My name; for I have created him for My glory, I have formed him, yea, I have made him” (Isaiah 43:6).
LORD when Israel left Egypt, they left nothing that belonged to them in their land of bondage, You fulfilled Your divine prophesy that when Abraham’s descendants would finally leave the bondage of Egypt, they would go out “with great possessions” (Genesis 15:14). While in Exodus 3:21, You assured the Hebrews would not “go empty”, they were robbed and plundered in World war II. many of their assets have still not been returned.
I pray that every missing asset would be found, identified and returned. LORD we pray for the restoration of Jewish assets, as I join the many intercessors praying continuously for the Jewish people, and for the nation of Israel.
It is indeed time for the plundered fortunes to be restored to their rightful owners in the name of Yeshuah Hamachiach, Amen.
I agree with these petitions in Jesus name.
What a testimony to the goodness of YHVH it will be to Israel when these prayers are answered. Many generational curses will also be broken over families whose ancestors looted Jewish treasure, who now repent and make reparations. This would be like a renewed covenant, transformed and renewed “asham” or guilt offering – a fragrant aroma to YHVH.
