I Prayed have prayed
Dear Heavenly Father, Your word says law enforcement exists to keep justice. But in some cases, we are seeing law enforcement BECOME a terror instead of being a terror to crime. We ask that You would touch every law-enforcement officer who harbors brutality in his or her heart. Change them and protect every American from unnecessary and unlawful use of force, we ask, in Jesus’ name.
Reading Time: 4 minutes

I am very pro-police, but I felt led today that we, as intercessors for the American nation and people, need to pray specifically against police brutality.

Law enforcement is ordained by God, but that doesn’t mean He has ordained everything that law enforcers do. And in recent years, we have seen many, many cases where law-enforcement officers of various kinds have used unnecessary force and even brutality against the people of America. This has to stop.

Please read Jamie Rohrbaugh’s response to some of the commenters that she posted on her own website: Don’t Let Your Triggers Keep You from Praying.

As we join in prayer, it is essential to acknowledge that not every police officer is brutal. Not every law enforcer in any branch is crooked or corrupt. Many, and probably the vast majority, are simply hardworking people who care about others and care about justice — and who want to do their jobs, keep people safe, get bad guys off the streets, keep the peace, and then go home to their families every day.

But it is for those who need a heart change that we pray today.

We need to pray for those who abuse their power. The Father can touch even them with His love. For officers who hide hatred in their hearts; for officers who use their power as an opportunity to exercise their personal vendettas — these are the ones for whom I specifically feel led to intercede today.

Will you join me in praying this prayer against police brutality? Let’s pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus’ name.

Abba, Your word says that we can come boldly before Your throne of grace, where we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. We are doing that right now, and we thank You that You hear us. We praise You for Your goodness and mercy toward us, and we are thankful that You are bowing low to hear our prayer right now.

Lord God, we thank You that righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne. You are a God who cares about righteousness and justice, and You have ordained law-enforcement officers to be those who enforce Your ways and Your laws.

But Father, in some cases, corrupt police officers and other law enforcers have stepped outside of what You called them to do.

We have seen instance after instance of police brutality in recent years. The heartbreaking cries of oppressed victims have reached our ears through video and media. And Father, we say enough is enough. This must stop.

Abba Father, we agree together, and we first ask, in Jesus’ name:

  • that if any law enforcer in America is pondering or preparing for a brutal act, You would intervene and stop any brutal act before it starts;
  • that if any law enforcer is so tired, burned out, or worn out emotionally, physically, mentally, or spiritually, such that they cannot think straight and would exercise bad judgment leading to brutality, You would expose the situation to the powers that be;
  • that You give wisdom to the leadership of every law-enforcement agency. Help them to enforce policies, time off, and even mandatory leaves giving overtaxed officers the space to heal, rest, and receive restoration of their good judgment.

Heavenly Father, we also ask, in Jesus’ name, that You would reach deeply into the heart of every law enforcer in the U.S. Touch them, Father. We ask You to:

  • strengthen those who are righteous and just. Pour out Your Spirit of valor on them;
  • change the heart of those who are corrupt. Take away their old, stony heart and give them a new heart — Your heart;
  • take away the old spirit of those who are not walking righteously. Give them a new Spirit — Your Spirit;
  • fill them with the wisdom from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, undefiled, willing to yield, and full of mercy and good fruit;
  • fill every law enforcement officer with compassion and mercy, for Your word says we are to be merciful, as You, Lord, are merciful;
  • help them to exhibit compassion and mercy in every interaction they pursue;
  • heal every law-enforcement officer from the traumas and tragedies they have seen;
  • remove everything from each officer that would impair good judgment. Restore righteous judgment and decision-making to every one.

Father, we ask for revival at every police agency in the nation: county, city, state, federal, the schools — even the National Park System. Please:

  • pour out Your Spirit on our law-enforcement officers;
  • make them men and women after Your own heart;
  • make them people of Your word and of prayer;
  • let them be merciful, and may they obtain mercy as well;
  • make them hungry and thirsty for You and for righteousness, and they will be filled;
  • empower those who already believe in You to be a witness for You everywhere they go;
  • give them boldness to testify of You in every situation;
  • help our law-enforcement officers to always do the right thing, in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask that You would protect every righteous officer. Keep them safe. And for any officers who are corrupt or wicked, we ask that You would remove them from any place of power; heal and change their hearts; and guide their steps into the way of righteousness.

Thank You, Abba Father. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I also pray that law enforcement officers would not give in to orders that come from corrupt leaders in order to keep their jobs. Please give them strength to stand up against any given orders that would be brutal, unnecessarily rough or that infringe on the rights of citizens, in Jesus’ name.

I am weary reaching out to you for prayer according to His will.

Influential employees of the Police department in another state threatened me personally when I was also an employee several years ago because I didn’t want to participate in their filthy activities. Ever since they followed me wherever I go & managed to turn Every Job, Housing, Organizations etc VS me for no reason.

I need prayer now for a safe place to live & deliverance from their harmful abusive reach against me.

Matt 18:19,20; Matt 18:15-17;
Ro 13:4; Eph 5:11; Mark 9:40, 41

Thank you and God Bless you!

To expect perfection from any human, let alone 100% of a huge group, is not realistic. Even Christians have done me harm. I’ve done wrong. As a whole, US Police have been accosted with lies and slander. They’ve been demonized by leftist/Satan’s media. US Police are disheartened and quitting. Something’s wrong. Something that wasn’t “broke,” suddenly is, and the left (our word “sinister” comes from the Latin “sinister,” which means “left”) demands it be “fixed.” I wonder if the left’s plan is to replace US Police with UN Police. I urge Christians to wake up and keep our eyes open. Read the Bible. Watch and pray.

I am so thankful for this prayer, which I prayed myself in full agreement. We are getting very desperate for Jesus to bring an awakening in our police force, and in our nation. May what He has started at Asbury continue to grow throughout the world.

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask that You would protect every righteous officer, DOJ agent, FBI agent, congressman, representative, judge, elected official, border agent, principal, pastor,…… Keep them safe. And for any who are corrupt or wicked, we ask that You would remove them from any place of power; heal and change their hearts; and guide their steps into the way of righteousness. I pray You, Lord and God, will protect us from the influences around us that deceive. Give us Your discernment. I ask this and so much more in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

As the spouse of an officer with 20 years in law enforcement I am very disheartened to read about an article praying against law enforcement officers. I realize that many of our federal agencies are corrupt probably beyond redemption. But local law enforcement has to deal on a daily basis with the worst things in society. Things that many of us thankfully never have to see. Many of them have leaders who are politicians that only care about their image and not doing what is right or supporting their officers in difficult situations. Many officers now fear doing the right thing will cause them to loose their jobs because of public backlash and politicians taking advantage of tragic situations. Articles like this only feed into the media created narrative that cops are roaming the streets looking to hurt certain groups of people. Article like this hurt families of those in law enforcement because we know it’s not true in the vast majority of cases. I ask people to pray FOR law enforcement and not against them. I pray that individuals writing articles for IFA would have better discernment and understanding before they write articles about law enforcement because this hurts good people.

    I don’t see her praying against them in this article. She is praying for the ones who are doing things that are wrong. She is praying for their hearts to change. If you can show me in this article where she is praying against law enforcement then we can pray accordingly but I don’t see where she is. God Bless.

    Renee, I hope that you will will ask God for discernment about your response. My sister, it appears you have heard the enemy much louder than you have the prayer. The prayer was for corrupt police officers not for you or your police husband and family. Brutality is never acceptable it doesn’t matter the pressures of a job or the problem of those who have authority over you. We are called to do what is right and just. Renee, I hear you making excuses for corrupt police officers. I hear you becoming defensive and lacking empathy for dead victims and their families who were affected by police brutality. Please re examine the feelings and triggers thy surfaced in your response and try to see this problem from a victims perspective as well. I encourage you to meditate…..Jesus was a victim of police brutality in his time.

Our Law Enforcement under Biden Harris. The Liberal Democrat want to destroy our Law Enforcement, Border Patrol, ICE, FBI so the federal government has Federal police. The FBI agents found China police station in NY. This is what happened to Germany and Cuba. Soros is one of Hitler’s Brown Uniform men. Thank God for reviewing what Soros, Obama, Biden and Harris have done with our Open Borders. Allowed Chinatown and other foreign countries to open packing plants and buying our farms and ranches. Business and 98 % of our drug made in Chinatown and packed in the USA by Chinese owned packing plants. Prayers that our Father will open the doors to show our citizens what Democrats are doing. God Bless America

I am the wife of a retired law enforcement officer. I appreciate the intent of this article.  But it leaves out something very important: The media has been allowed to define “brutality” and “excessive force.”  Combined with the way they cut and edit pictures and video, and then twist the truth, the public’s perception of those two terms is neither accurate nor legal.  Are there a few bad apples in every profession? Of course. But when it comes to the issues of brutality and excessive force in United States, the biggest problem, by far, is not the actions of the law enforcement officers, but rather the actions of the media.  Thank you for praying for law enforcement officers! But please, don’t forget to pray for the media, which is slandering them at every turn.  I can assure you, this is one of the biggest reasons that the good officers are leaving, and no new ones are coming in, as noted in the sister article to this one, regarding severe staffing shortages.

      Thank you, Susan. Your comment means a lot to me. If God brings us to your mind, my request is prayer for my husband’s salvation.
      Sometimes, when good men see a lot of bad things, the result is that they half kill themselves trying to help as many as they possibly can, while wondering why & how God doesn’t step in more often to protect the innocent people who got hurt. And then, after that, the media crucifies you…it can create significant spiritual challenges for the officer.

        I’m just reading your prayer request AM! I will pray for your husband! I don’t know his name but God does. Infact, my family of 6 will lift your husband up to the Heavens and ask the Lord to bring a peace upon your husband that surpasses all understanding. And May it bring him to a place of repentance and surrender to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is something so heavy on my heart for officers to know Jesus. Your husband is not alone. The public and authors like Jamie just do not understand what it is like to live this life.
        Tell your husband we love him!! And most importantly Jesus loves him!!
        I want to pray for you too because I can imagine how this must hurt you. Trust that Jesus will never leave nor forsake your husband and that with God All things Are Possible!

        AM, I came back to this article this morning so the Lord did bring you back to my mind. I would be honored to continue praying for you and Gabriel. I have given him this name because that is my prayer this morning…that he will realize he is God’s man.

        Psalm 141, Come Quickly To Me, https://biblehub.com/bsb/psalms/141.htm

        Dear Heavenly Father, I pray Gabriel soon realizes to WHOM he belongs. And while You are getting him there, may AM feel You near as You peace strengthens her. I remember so many prayers I gave up on. You never did. You always remember. Would you draw Gabriel to call upon You, Lord? Would You draw his heart to You? I pray Gabriel’s eyes are trained upon You and only in You will he seek REFUGE. May he know You are his DEFENSE and may this knowing bring overflowing THANKFULNESS to his life. In all his years of service, You have kept him from the snares laid for him. I am praying that in this time of retirement, he KNOWS he is Your man. I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Mighty God and Savior. Amen

It is God’s gift…my husband doesn’t know it, yet, but what he sowed in terms of sacrificing for and serving others he is now reaping, as others sacrifice their time & energy for him. I’m trusting God for the day he recognizes this. On his behalf, I thank you so much!

I disagree with this prayer from Jamie! I’m black and the reports of police “terrorizing black Americans is a lie propagated by the lying media and blm and antifa! When the truth comes out and police are not found to be in the wrong, it is almost never reported! These demonized people, blm and antifa want the police gone so the Marxists and complete lawlessness can attempt to take over! Of course, in every profession there are bad apples, however they are the minority in police across America! FATHER GOD Bless every police officer in America and strengthen and help them to do their jobs giving honor to YOU in JESUS NAME!

    Amen Roberta! You are over the target. What I did not include in my long comment below is that the supposed ‘police brutality’ narrative is being engineered. About ten years ago Police and community relations was the best it has been in a long time. The left can’t have that so there has been an intentional uptick in rhetoric. What my husband started to see in his last days with LAPD was the hiring of BLM supporting officers. There is an agenda to completely discredit and defund the police which will allow absolute chaos and anarchy so this regime that is in the White House can create a One World police system. It should be eye opening for everyone.
    They create the chaos and crime, discredit the police and then they swoop in to ‘save’ the people.
    THAT’S what we should be praying against.

      Melissa, thank you for your original comment, and then the reply to Roberta.  (I’m the AM comment above it, which begins, “I am the wife of a retired law enforcement officer…”)  Your wise words made me realize that I had left out something important… something which, obviously, you understand, too: We need to pray for the Christian Ministries that, too often, believe the media on this issue. They don’t believe the media on almost any other issue. But on THIS issue, there seems to be an element of spiritual warfare that is incredibly deceptive.  I’ve seen it, and I suspect you have, too. Praying for you and your husband, sister. I may not get to meet you guys this side of Heaven, but, sooner or later, I look forward to the privilege! May God richly bless & keep you both!

        Hi AM! You are absolutely correct and my husband and I have indeed been witness to it. So many Pastors and Christians have gone right along with the narrative that systematic racism exists. Yet the numbers do not support that at all! In 2019, 1004 suspects were shot by police and the vast majority of them were armed. Only a quarter of that number were blacks. But, as we know, the media does not care about facts. History shows that racism will continue to be used by politicians and activists to sow animosity and a divide in our country and Christians are falling for it time and again.
        I will say and give a shout-out to Pastor John MacArthur whose church was in my husbands division. He was steadfast in his support for my husband and his fellow officers and had them to his church many times during the riots and has spoken out boldly in defense of police 👏🏼

        All that aside, thank you for your kind words, sister in Christ (and sister in blue 🖤💙🖤😊) Im so happy to hear that your husband has safely retired. For my husband, he was within a year of retiring but because of the vax mandate his pension was taken from him. And so, in a way, he is starting all over. We refuse to be bitter. Many are the plans of a persons heart but we know the Lords plans will prevail for our family. Plus we are relieved to be out of Ca.

        I Praise the Lord for His protection over your husband and your family during his time of duty 🙌🏼
        May God be with y’all as well and I love the thought of meeting you one day ☺️❤️

          Melissa, Amen. Yes, praise the Lord for John MacArthur, and others like him! They are out there. (When you refer to “the riots,” at first I thought you meant 1992. But when I consider the numbers, I think you’re referring to more recent events.) I am praying for you and your family, as you continue to serve the Lord in a new state. My heart is burdened to try to help you in a practical manner. I am nobody important in the world’s eyes, but I might be able to help a tiny bit. If the Lord leads you to reach back to me, I can be contacted through TruthPlusLove dot com, which has a contact page.
          It’s more of an officer saying than a Christian saying; maybe you’ve heard it: “Just because you do right, you don’t always get to feel right.” I can’t imagine how difficult the decisions and actions of the past year or two have been for both you and your husband! But I am convinced that you made the right choice! And, I am praying that God richly blesses you above and beyond what you and he can ever dream, hope, think, or imagine! That is His promise for those who make the right choices. We may not feel right in the short term, and the realization of the promise may not happen until we cross the threshold into Heavenly eternity. But praise the Lord, He is just, and there will come a day when our light and momentary afflictions will pale in comparison to the rewards that He has prepared for you. As you know, my dear sister, God doesn’t write bad checks. It’s just that, sometimes, it takes a while before we are able to cash them. Be encouraged. Persevere. Praying for you.

I very much agree with some of the comments in support of police and what they truly face each day.
I won’t take the time to second all that others have said regarding the obstacles and dangers that our officers face sometimes by those who claim to support police.
I am going to be very blunt and say that the author of this article is very irresponsible in her titling of said article. (I would appreciate her redacting it) I love that you want to pray for officers, Lord knows they need it but your desire to pray has led you to recklessly assert untruths and with the title you chose it misinforms what you are talking about and trying to accomplish. I feel very led to enlighten you and others.
I am a police wife of almost 20 years of a former LAPD officer. Feels weird to even write former LAPD because it’s all we have known for so long. (He is now an officer in another state) But because of draconian and unconstitutional demands the LAPD stopped paying my husband because he refused the vax. Now that’s a whole other subject but I just wanted to clarify that I kind of know what I’m talking about with what I’m going to share.
Not that it should matter but my husband is also a black officer.
We have talked time and again since the Ferguson uprising when BLM really made their presence known. Since then Police Brutality has been thrown around conversations and in the media and with activists as much as people like to through the race card out there. Never in all of my husbands years of policing in LA has he met another officer who spoke of doing reckless harm to others. Not Ever! My husband has been on the streets as a patrol cop, in violent crimes and anti gangs. It’s not ever the banter of other officers even when they are about to deal with some of the most dangerous suspects.
For the author to throw out ‘police brutality’ and how it’s becoming more common eludes me as well.
The author wrote;

‘We have seen instance after instance of police brutality in recent years. The heartbreaking cries of oppressed victims have reached our ears through video and media. And Father, we say enough is enough. This must stop.’

What?!
Explain please all of the instances you are taking about because it matters. Now are you talking about the instance in Tennessee recently. That was horrific and any officer will tell you the same. Infact my husband explained it perfectly, he said those were not police officers, they were thugs in uniform who have been hired because of affirmative action and have just continued their lifestyle with a uniform on. That does not constitute police brutality. And say what you will about George Floyd and there is a lot to say but it was not police brutality. Do you know how many vile evil suspects have said what George Floyd said just to get the officer to let up and then attempt to hurt said officer? It happens ALL the time. I’m not defending that officer it was tragic for sure but there is much about that incident that has not been shared.

Let me please (because I can get a bit passionate) make very clear that every life matters and my husband risks his life everyday on the streets and would not blink an eye to protect a fellow officer or innocent victim but the Bible is also very clear about Gods punishment on those who do wrong;
‘Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval,
4 for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.’

Now that does not mean officers should use excessive force but what many see as excessive force is actually not and this author and many others lump all of the police interactions with use of force into one category. That is not accurate.
There are over 375 million instances with police and civilians in a given year, 375 million! The use of force is very minimal compared to that number. I say the police are doing a pretty amazing job considering what they have to work with. It takes an officer 18 hours to decompress from his day on the streets and most are back at it before that can take place.
I get what the author is trying to do and police families appreciate the prayers. It is my hearts desire for all officers to know Jesus. Jesus Christ and our devotion to Him is all that keeps my husband and our family going at times.
I don’t know how officers go about their day without Jesus and I hope many surrender to Him and soon.
I would ask that this author does some research and clarify herself before putting out such an article with a misleading title. It adds fuel to the fire that our officers do not need. Are there bad people who are officers? Seems kind of rhetorical, of course there are. But emotions and ignorance to the matter at hand need to be checked when you are writing and sharing about something like this.

Police families are a unique bunch. We are thick skinned and protective and a bit cynical I admit. We need Jesus everyday. But our officers are only human and they are under paid, under appreciated and wrongfully attacked and they deserve better.
Yes, vet the bad ones but they are very few and far between.
Thanks for the prayers. Blessed are the Peacemakers ✝️🖤💙🖤

We must all Stand Together or we will all perish individually. When our founders collectied examples of governance for a framework for society- from many societies-,throughout history-,they took what they determined to be the best parts of those societies-, and left out what were the parts that failed.. and then of course took Hebrew law.. invested in a framework of the Roman senate.. whereupon- we were called into service- as citizens commissioned in then-,the greatest experiment in history.. ultimately we are left with our human frailty.. as such some of us have turned to follow the path of righteousness -,and some of us have turned to follow the path of evil.. it has been noted by the gentleman that founded Convention of States-, that part of the uniqueness of the American experiment- was that our country..historically has never really agreed on anything- and were always divided in factions.. but the Common Thread that has always run through it was-, that the drive of our existence -,and the force that called us to stay the path and go forward- was always based in our foundation of righteousness..And-, in order to support that righteousness.. we must all Stand Together. Any inkling on our part that we are not trusting each other -,and not standing behind the Warriors that go before us-,to stand against the demonic.. any sense that the enemy.. satan, gets.. that we are not standing in unison..against that force- that evil force.. will be seized upon.. and has been seized upon.. that is where the ancient and historical assault upon Free People by tyrants originated.. from at least-, in great part.
Tyrants historically have basically conned and manipulated unsuspecting Blue Collar working type people into feeling guilty about their freedom and taking advantage of that free environment to use it against people.. & has happened so many times across a thousand years- even 2,000 years going farther back to Herod.. probably the first tyrant. We must not let evil connive us into feeling sorry for them.. they use that against us all the time. What you are seeing manifested as quote unquote” bad police” is the same as a sore on the skin of a cancer patient-, the evil lies much deeper at the root..that has been inculcated into the body of humanity-, in the United States ..over hundreds of years.. the Word says” judgment begins in the house of the Lord..” if anyone is it at fault -again- it is the much beleaguered and put upon Church.. of course we will never get it right.. I do not believe it is possible to get it right.. but do not lay it at the feet of these poor policemen ..and their beleaguered families.. who have been beaten down and are now being oppressed by their own ranks their own management their own leaders.. for heaven’s sakes look at General Milly.. he’s basically turned into a woman. It’s not worth the written space in a column to make a point.. let us stand behind our own troops and stay the course like James O’Keefe says” be courageous do something”

…”..And for any officers who are corrupt or wicked, we ask that You would *remove them from any place of power*; heal and change their hearts; and guide their steps into the way of righteousness”….

This is the part of this article’s prayer that I would agree with the most.. as the old adage states.. walk a mile in their shoes-,.. Let also remember.. as in the case with George Floyd.. that-,after the fact- that Candace Owen’s and others brought out information and evidence that that situation was not entirely honest- and much of it was contrived.. ( and repeated in other situations since )..& until any of us have had to deal with hardened criminals.. and by the way-, -,remember that in prisons there are trans migrating spirits, and oftentimes people come out of those institutions,..changed in ways that are not easily- or ever healed.. until any of us have had to deal with these life-threatening situations.. it is easy to talk about police brutality. And we have seen yet another insanity piled on top of it-, in what it is been the defund the police movement.. and much as the military’s leadership has gone woke and effeminate-, and greatly been discouraged in themselves.. it will be nearly impossible for them to lead a courageous force of military in protecting our country..in the same way much of the leadership in police departments across the country have been crippled in this way.. making an already impossible job-, that much harder to do-, for the man for a woman on the beat- on the street. Let us not get wrapped up in media narratives.. as we have seen the results of 100 years political correctness encroaching upon the mindset and hearts and spirit of the church-, that led to allowing the Demonic to steam roll us on 3- 13-20.

Lord I pray you would have mercy on our police across the country …in every city.. and heal their hearts and support them -,and in fact bring them the support and love that they need- and in fact in boots on the ground physical support- and encouragement -,that they could protect our families -,and homes..and our neighborhoods- from the evil that is now running rampant -, unchecked.. even as in my own situation I had to call the sheriff here-, back in October.. and they said” there’s nothing we can do.. if we arrest the guy he’ll just get out in 2 to 4 hours and then-, what will what happen to you”..(?)..
.. oh Lord.. protect us from the political correctness and spiritual weakness to acquiesce to the nice guy image that got us thrown under the bus on 3/13/20.. let us be the courageous militia that stands for Jesus- in standing against evil as our founding fathers were.. because, we are.. one nation indivisible-, under God..*protecting* liberty and justice for all.
In Jesus Name, Amen

A traumatic ordeal in 2008 has left me seeking answers and I am praying that truth is revealed through police reports, bodycam and dashcam footage. At the time, I had just driven all day from California to Washington to escape an abusive relationship. I went to stay at a friend’s house and was drugged, then found alone in my car in the middle of an intersection. I pleaded with the officer that I was not insane, but unhealthy. He proceeded to have me committed against my will to a mental hospital. I was subjected to forced injections and further trauma that I still struggle with to this day. Today I am asking for prayer♥️

I feel for our police officers and pray for their protection daily. It is very frustrating when they are told to hold back and allow criminals to go free. Also to bring someone to court and the criminal is blessed and the person the crime was against is now the villain. Many police officers are handing in their badges because they are not allowed to protect the people. They are told not to stop the person who is doing wrong,. There are police officers behind bars that should not be there. I receive letters from their spouses and parents praying they are set free. When they only followed orders. I wanted you to see the other side of the coin. Yes there are some police officers that are hurting because of the way they were abused and hurt others. Do you think the media is giving you the whole truth the whole picture? They are not letting you know how the police officers was abused and their life could have been ended if they didn’t use force or fire their weapon to protect others and themselves. Father protect these men and women who put their lives on the line everyday. When there are evil people just waiting to end their life. Father send guardian angels to surround these men and women daily and their families. Send ministering angels to heal their wounds and emotions of what they see and face daily. Restore their hope and trust in you. It is hard when you can’t trust our fellow men and are not allowed to do what they
signed up for to uphold law and order. Father seat the righteous in our government so that good will be good and bad will be bad and not reversed. May your commands, precepts and concepts prevail not mans will but your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We declare that our police officers and military be allowed to pray in the Name of Jesus and bow their knees to you and no other.

I’m struggling right now with thoughts I don’t like. I feel exactly as the writer of the article does, respect and admiration for men and women who take on the task of protecting Americans!! Yet there is a nagging thought in my mind. I don’t trust the government. All the talk about defunding the police can’t be ignored. What if some of the ones brutalizing citizens were planted by those who want to see the Wild West make its Re-entry into America? We’ve been lied to on just about everything! This seems insane, right? But what have they told us about Covid and the shot? What have they done to private citizens who’ve disagreed with their policies? Why have they ‘cancelled’ those of us who speak their minds? I don’t want to feel this way. Please tell me I’m wrong!

    Mary Ann you are not wrong! There is an attempt to take over America by the same demonic spirit that was on Hitler and we bind it in the NAME of JESUS! We decree that this spirit of evil and lawlessness will stop immediately in JESUS NAME and Truth will be revealed in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS! Amen!

I pray for the Police Officers all across this country; I pray for the Mayors and those above
them; The Police are under so much pressure now. The media is especially hard on police and
groups are telling others to hate them. Children are being taught to hate police, who
actually there to help them. I PRAY for truth -many are being accused of things they
did not do. They are our neighbors, brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, relatives. etc.
just because they work as police they deserve our respect- because one does wrong -all
can’t be lumped into one group- it doesn’t happen in any other workers- these men and
women have a hard job and need our support and prayers. They are one of us. One of the
most persecuted groups in our nation now. We support all of those working to fight
crime. If we lose our police, we have unbridled crime and looting. I support LAW AND ORDER.
the Rule of Law, Peace. Love your neighbor as yourself. We all need to PRAY PRAY PRAY.

I’m sad the target is constantly on the police. We need the police.

My husband is a very good police officer. He patrolled Oakland, CA for almost a decade, but after being discharge, because his religious exemption wasn’t approved for the covid jab, he is now an officer in another city.

He has worked through riots, shootings, very dangerous situations, etc. Sadly, the morale inside the force is depressing… politics in upper management, no support (actually hostility in many circumstances) from city council, opposition from high government officials and massive media bias. No rest when overtime is mandatory, yet you can be let go at anytime.

My husband felt called from the beginning to serve his community. He stays because he trusts God for purpose. I’ve met many men and women of blue. I have not met a “bad” one, yet. The ones that exist are far less common than you think. Be careful what you see in the media. Continue to pray for our police officers. They need our prayers and we need their services!

My husband will be working mandatory overtime on his 7 year old daughter’s birthday this Monday because the city is short staffed. (And its his normal/scheduled day off.)

Thank you for praying for our law enforcement and please smile and thank them when you see them in person. Let them know you appreciate them and are praying for them. Your words go a long way!

God bless, encourage, strengthen, revive, give favor and shield, our faithful law enforcers! Amen.

    Mrs. RL, I love your support of this good man, husband, father, and policeman. On Monday, I pray the Lord will provide a sweet and totally unexpected blessing to him and his birthday girl. Despite this absence, I am sure she KNOWS she is loved and that is the best gift ever!

Recently called for jury duty. Surprised at the number of reports within the jury pool of negative interactions with officers and level of distrust, especially among younger people (under 40).
Respect for authority has been greatly diminished, too. Problem on both sides of situation.

Thank you Father for our police officers. We ask you that you keep them in their coming and going. I pray your peace, that passes all understanding to keep their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. If they do not know you Father, I pray for divine appointments to come for each one.
