I Prayed have prayed
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Be encouraged as you pray for America. Remember who you are in Christ. Thank God for His blessings in your life and in the life of America.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Rom 15:13)

“Many Americans are worried about persecution. They see religious freedoms dwindling away by the actions of leaders who have been elected to represent all the people, but represent the self interests of the devil himself. But persecution in the United States is not at the level it is around the rest of the world. We become upset and worried if the government uses the force of law on someone who refuses to go against their religious beliefs. In the Middle East, however, women and children are being raped, sold into slavery, tortured, even beheaded or burned to death by Muslims because they are considered infidels. In China, homes are bull-dozed if Christians are found to be meeting in them.

If not for America, the world would be a dark place. We send aid, protection, food, and the gospel around the world. Even though our country is in a moral decline, and the leadership we elect are often evil deceivers, Americans have stood the test of time, using religious freedom and freedom of speech to advance the kingdom of God. No matter how convoluted and circuitous the path America has taken, Americans more often than not have stood in the breach and have held the line for what is right and good. For a generation, it appears we have taken leave of our good senses and have allowed our nation to slowly decline. We are now starting to face the consequences of this lack of proper standing and engagement.

But take courage, and be encouraged. As is written 1 Peter 2:9,’But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.’ You, yes you, are a prophetic person who was born specifically for this time. When you accepted Christ, you may not have understood about counting the cost. Jesus said that we would have to take up the cross to follow him. Those costs are becoming more evident in this day and age for those of us who live in America. Our leadership is poor. Our nation is in decline. Our Christianity is being challenged. As is our faith. But you are a chosen generation.

Peter had a lot to say about persecution. He knew it well. He writes in 1 Peter 3:12, ‘For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous. And his ears are open unto their prayers: But the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.’ He asks, ‘And who is he that will harm you, if you be followers of that which is good. Peter said it is better to suffer for righteousness’ sake, verses 14-15, ‘happy are you: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.’ You are a prophetic person. Rise up. Stand as so!” (The Daily Jot, July 10, 2017, by Bill Wilson.)

The most important prayer Jesus’ Teaching on Prayer
11 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”

2 He said to them, “When you pray, say:

“‘Father,[a]
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.[b]
3 Give us each day our daily bread.
4 Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.[c]
And lead us not into temptation.[d]’”
5 Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; 6 a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him.’ 7 And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.’ 8 I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity[e] he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.

9 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[f] a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

We must ” Trust in the Lord with all of our hearts and lean not on our own understanding; in all our ways acknowledge Him, and he will make our paths straight” Prov 3:5!

and continue to pray daily for our country, our president, his family and administration. God hears our prayers!

Father God, forgive us for putting our comfort before you, giving you our left over time when our appetites for entertainment are fulfilled. Forgive us for putting you in the back seat when you should be the driver of our lives. Forgive us for using your truth in multiple self help books instead of allowing you to sanctify us and make us holy as you are holy. Forgive us for treating you more like a butler than our Holy Almighty and Sovereign God. Lord help us to be bold and stand as your peculiar people, prophetic in the power of your spirit, rightly dividing the Word of God, using all the spiritual gifts from high places that was ours at salvation. Have your way with us Lord Jesus, and may your army rise. In Jesus name, Amen

For the Lord God help me: therefore shall I not be confounded. Isaiah 50:7 He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might he increase strength. Isaiah 40:29 Be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6,7
And thine ears shall hear a word behind the, saying this is the way, walk yet in it, when yet turn to the right hand , and when you turn to the left.I will instruct the and teach the in the way which thou shalt go : I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalm 32:8. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for , but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them . Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable , always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 cor. 15:58. In Jesus name!

“Love conquers all.” As CHRIST had expressed love for us all, we must be CHRIST like and love even those whose persecute us. We should pray for one another and our enemies as well.

Father our only hope is in Jesus Christ. We know that as Christ Followers there will be persecution.
Jesus said that if they persecuted him, they will persecute us. Are we any better than our Master?

We thank You for this country and we ask Your hand of blessing on it, although our sins are many, bring Your church to a place of true sorrow and repentance. Heal our land and give clarity of thought to the confused through Your Word.

When persecution comes, I pray Your people will sense Your presence and be bold to make Christ known. I pray that we would forgive and love our enemies and rejoice in our sufferings.

I thank You for the USA.

USA had been so giving even to those whose ideology differ from us. We think that the they’ll be loving and will respond with gratitude. It was a mistake. We need to repent of this leniency. Our only hope in Jesus Christ. Let’s exalt His holy name. Be proactive. Let God arise, and His enemies be scattered!!!
