I Prayed have prayed
Lord, I pray, open our eyes, that we may see and that we may know there is more with us than with them. Open our eyes to see victory on the horizon.
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Recently I had a vision of thousands of angels being dispensed across the world, with prayers in hand, bringing forth the fulfillment of what they held in their hand.

In the book of Daniel, a familiar verse is found in chapter 10:12-13.

Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.

Daniel was living in a very dark time. Evil surrounded him on every side. Yet, he was a praying man and God heard his prayers. We see in this Scripture, even with the magnitude of ungodliness surrounding him, God sent one angel. Only one.

One angel came to receive his words and brought them to pass.

James 5:16, in the Amplified Bible states, The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

The power from Daniel’s prayers manifested in the form of the angel, Gabriel.

If you search the Bible concerning angels, time and again you will see when God sent angelic hosts to assist or instruct, it was most often just one.

  • Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza” (Acts 8:26).
  • But they said to her, “You are beside yourself!” Yet she kept insisting that it was so. So, they said, “It is his angel” (Acts 12:15).
  • Yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering (Daniel 9:21).

Psalm 34:7 says, The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them.

This word, encamp, means to pitch a tent, to surround, to guard.

When we pray, God sends an angel to make camp wherever we are. As our prayers remain consistent and Scripture-based, that angel stays in place.

What I saw in a vision was literally thousands of angels being released into the earth. They are harkening to the prayers we are praying! They are, like Gabriel, coming for our words, to bring them to fulfillment.

The more people we have seeking the face of God, praying for our world, the more angels we will see at work.

Recently, many have felt discouraged and weary, but take heart. We are in the days of victory not defeat.

It is now just as it was in the days of Elisha.

In those days, there was a king in place who tried to destroy the people of God. God would not allow it then and He won’t allow it now. We must see our present situation with new eyes from God’s perspective. To do that, we must ascend higher.

Therefore, he sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city. And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?”  So, he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha (2 Kings 6:14-17).

It is no different today. We may not see it, but we are surrounded by warring angels. They have come for our words and God’s word, coming from our lips, will not fail.

My prayer for each of us today is this; “Lord, I pray, open our eyes, that we may see and that we may know there is more with us than with them. Open our eyes to see victory on the horizon. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.”

Thanks Kim! I’ve just been listening to. Series of teachings by Charles Capps from the 1981 KCM. Southwest Believers Convention. Don’t think, ‘Oh, that’s old!’, because he could have been speaking to us today, and it was all about Angels!
You may not remember, but 1981 was the first year of the presidency of Ronald Reagan who was responsible for the Berlin Wall coming down!
Charles Capps spoke exactly what Kim has just spoken here, but he did emphasise how important the WORDS that you pray are – they must line up with God’s Word for angels to respond.
In a prophetic word Charles predicted a time when there would be attacks on Christians in government, just like what is happening to President Trump. That people would make accusations and do everything to remove them from office, just like Daniel 10, but that God would expose all thei plans And lies and destroy them. (My paraphrase).
Sound familiar?
How good is our God? To tell us so far in advance and to confirm His Word to us today through Kim!

THE LIGHT OF G-D’s GLORY SHINES BRIGHTER STILL

Though the night is growing ever darker,

The Light of G-D’s glory shines brighter still

Upon those who name the Name of Yeshua,

Upon those who seek to do His will,

Upon those who love His soon appearing,

Upon those who work His work divine,

Upon those who bring Him all the glory,

Upon those who believe for His wonders and signs

For the saving and healing of the lost and the hurting,

For the deliverance of captives bound in chains,

For the Cross of Meshiach that proved victorious,

For the King of Kings Who ever reigns.

Though the night is growing ever darker,

The light of G-D’s glory shines brighter still

Through the hearts and lives of His dear children

Who desire nothing more than to do His will.

What tremendous comfort God’s promise is:

Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them.

All around: North, south, east and west–above me and beyond me: Wow, encircled with GOD’s love!

Thank you for your message, Kim.

Very encouraged and is confirming what I have been praying. All though the scriptures it talks of angel armies. I have thought about when Jesus was in the wilderness and said He could call forth legions of angels. In Ephesians 6 that we are not fighting flesh and blood but angelic host of darkness. I also have thought of Elisha asking the Lord to open his servants eyes so He could see those angelic hosts. We sing a worship song that says “the God of angel armies is always on our side. I have been asking for these angelic beings to be over these areas of rioting and also over the nations where there is so much violence over the persecuted church. Years ago I had an angel appear in my bedroom , He was dressed in a suit ..All he said was to not be afraid…..So amen to your article. Love when our Father confirms His word.

This article is both an encouragement and a confirmation of what I have sensed lately.
I’m like many people… there are moments & seasons of discouragement. But they don’t last because God has sent help to both uplift and encourage us. In moments, I have looked toward the heavens and literally glimpsed the war that we are presently seeing. In those moments, it becomes impressed on my soul we have help and “God is winning”. From a visual or physical standpoint, it may not look like it… but the deep and silent but convincing Spirit of God convicts, encourages and tells me otherwise.
And the presiding thought is constantly impressed within me… that I am just one person but through consistent and faithful prayer, I (we) am being heard. I (we) am making a difference.
God desires to hear us… daily. Be faithful in the call to prayer. God is parting the “seas of impossibility”. He wants to show our shipwrecked world that He alone is God.

Lord, thank You for the Power of Your Word and the encouragement it brings to those seeking Your Truth! Yes, open our eyes that we might see all that You are doing during these chaotic times. Give us clarity and encouragement as we humble ourselves in prayer and repentance. Lord, we trust in You alone! Your will be done. Help us to abide in You! May the love of Christ dwell richly in us as we look up for our redemption draws near! In Jesus Name I pray

This is the exact scripture the Holy Spirit brought to my mind last week as we were praying for our nation! I prayed this for the church & those that are scared of what they see & read everyday in the news. God is bigger & more powerful than our enemies. I will not fear but I will trust in the Lord. God used Gideon & 300 men to defeat over 100,000 Midianite soldiers. The Lord will give us victory over our enemies. To God alone be the glory & honor! In Jesus Name, Amen!
