Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is a former Congresswoman from Minnesota and candidate for President of the United States. My Faith Votes sat down with her to discuss the important primary elections and how Christians are critical voices in the public square.

Why is it important for Christians to be involved in primary elections?

“The primary election, in so many congressional districts, is the general election. People would be amazed at how few people actually vote in a primary election. The highest numbers of voters come out in Presidential election cycles. However, some elections have literally been decided by one vote. In fact, there was a school board election that took place last year where no one voted. A single vote, your vote, can literally make all the difference in the world on these races. So it’s important to go out and vote in the primary elections because quite often there won’t be another election after the primary – the primary is the election that counts!”

It seems we are in a season where God is giving Christians many opportunities to use the influence of our faith in the public square. What would you say to Christians regarding this season we’re experiencing?

“Dial into what it is the Lord is doing right now in your backyard – because He is active! He is active all across the globe. Henry Blackaby wrote a book, Experiencing God, and his main thesis was ‘find out what God is doing and show up and join the work’. And I believe he is right about that. There is so much for Christians to do! As the scripture says, in John 4:35, “lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.” People have been praying for years. People have been watering and planting and cultivating. Now is the time to preach the word and be faithful in season and out of season. We are coming to a culmination point of history and we need to take advantage of the time that we have been given to preach the Gospel and let the Holy Spirit bring about transformation.”

Yes, be our Senator from MN them President. I know God put Mr Trump in now and he needs our prayers. Christians needs to be praying “in the Name of Jesus”! And cover the Christians in Government with the precious Blood of
Jesus!

John 14:26
But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

Quite frankly Michele we could use you in the Senate, replace one of the 2 democrat senators from Minnesota and help to rebuild the weak places from past administrations. The man God chose is currently in office and I expect him to leave office January 2025.

Love Michele Bachmann whose strong advocacy for Israel made her my pick for continuing public office. Her leadership has always been inspiring.
