Media Attacks Pro-Life Texas Law
The mainstream media’s bias is unavoidable, and it will hurt any and every piece of pro-life legislation. Let’s pray.
From NewsBusters. FollowingĀ MondayāsĀ NBC Nightly News,Ā TuesdayāsĀ CBS Evening News, and WednesdayāsĀ CBS Mornings, ABC used WednesdayāsĀ Good Morning AmericaĀ to join whatās the latest example of a manufactured, public relations-driven campaign by liberal activists to promote the plaintiffs of a new lawsuit seeking to chip away at Texasās pro-life law that limits abortion to six weeks.

Of course, ABC gave no real attention to the pro-life cause, aside from a single sentence that ended the two-minute-and-46-second segment that summarized a statement from the office of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R).
āAbortion lawsuit. Five women now suing the state of Texas saying they were denied potentially lifesaving care because of the stateās ban on the procedure. What theyāre now pushing for,āĀ cheeredĀ GMAĀ co-host Michael Strahan in the first of two teases.
Correspondent Mireya Villarreal had the report from Dallas and began by saying the plaintiffs āwere more than happy to find out they were pregnantāĀ with abortion beingĀ āthe last thing they wanted and while they were able to get the procedure done outside of Texas, they are now fighting for women who donāt have that option.ā
āThis morning, five women suing the state of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and the stateās medical board,āĀ she proclaimed, adding theyāve arguedĀ āthey were āādenied necessary and potentially lifesaving obstetrical care because medical professionals throughout the state fear liability under Texasās abortion bans.āā
After a soundbite from a Center for Reproductive Rights lawyer, she shifted focus to one of the plaintiffs who, not surprisingly, was also spotlighted on CBS both Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. ā¦
Citing the pro-abortion group as fact, she insisted the suit wouldnāt be looking to end the āabortion banā but instead āget a judge to provide medical clarity on the portion of the law that allows women to get an abortion in emergency cases.ā ā¦
WednesdayāsĀ CBS MorningsĀ segment largely rehashed the piece from CBSās PM counterpart on Tuesday. This time, however,Ā CBS MorningsĀ co-host and Democratic donor Gayle King had the setup:
In the first case of its kind in Texas, five women are suing the State claiming its abortion ban puts them in danger. Texas is one of 12 US States with the most restrictive new laws since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Janet Shamlian spoke to one of the plaintiffs who says she was not allowed to claim a medical emergency. ā¦

Remember who you are dealing with! Demonized people! Michael Strahan cheered the little trans boy in a bad wig who was about 9 to 11 years old that was on GMA walking down a “red carpet!” I wonder how he would feel if that had been his child with a bunch of obvious pedophiles cheering the child on! Michael is so lost and headed to hell unless he gets saved! FATHER GOD please send deliverance and salvation to these news people! Open their eyes to YOUR TRUTH and let them repent and be converted in JESUS NAME! Amen!
I’m confused. If these five women were “more than happy to find out they were pregnant,” and didn’t want abortions, how can they claim they were denied “potentially life-saving care”? Why were they seeking abortions if they were glad they were pregnant? I’m not clear whether they actually did go to another state and get abortions, or if their claims are hypothetical.
O LORD our Heavenly Father: arise, and let your media enemies be scattered; and let all in the media that hate you flee before you! Show the strength of your Almighty arm by scattering the proud media voices in the imagination of their hearts! Put down the powerful in the media from their positions of power and instead raise up the humble and meek who follow You and fear You. In Jesus’s name, amen
