As pro-lifers gathered in D.C. for the March for Life, many have suggested strategies for the post-Roe fight. Join IFA state prayer and be part of what God is doing now.

From The Federalist. Thousands of pro-life activists gathered at our nation’s capital Friday to celebrate the Supreme Court’s overturning of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision and advocate for the unborn. It was the 50th anniversary of the grassroots-organized March for Life and the first since the overturning of Roe in June. Despite such a monumental victory and the fulfillment of a key goal, the pro-life movement’s work is not over. …

Who is praying on the wall?

President of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Marjorie Dannenfelser told The Federalist that the pro-life movement must work on establishing a federal limit for abortion to serve as a minimum protection for the unborn, reminiscent of most European countries that ban the procedure after 12 or 15 weeks … as well as passing pro-life legislation at the state level and once again electing a pro-life president.

“There is no federal standard established and it gives the other side the power again on the federal level to start to undo everything that we worked for for 50 years,” Dannenfelser said. She also reiterated that Republicans cannot shy away from defining the abortion debate as they did during the 2022 midterms in the wake of the Dobbs decision.

“What [GOP] candidates need to do is define their position and contrast it with the extremism of the other side,” Dannenfelser said. …

Penny Nance, president of Concerned Women for America, also emphasized that Republicans shouldn’t be shying away from the abortion debate. …

Both women emphasized that the pro-life movement must be as strategic as possible in achieving its goals, which means taking as many “incremental” wins as possible.

“You have to have a state-by-state strategy,” Nance said. …

Abigail Dejarnatt, an organizer with Counteract USA, a Christian pro-life group based in northwest Arkansas, told The Federalist she is in favor of incrementalism so as to use that time to change hearts and minds on the issue of abortion.

“We believe that the fight for life isn’t over until not only is abortion illegal in all 50 states, but the thought of aborting a baby is absolutely abhorrent,” she said.

Dejarnatt also told The Federalist the pro-life movement must make helping pregnant women a priority so they don’t think Planned Parenthood is their only option. …

I was there. It was a huge battle and God won. The enemy was protesting against life. We were marching and praying and believing in Life. God was present. Unity of all kinds of people was evident and many thousands of young adults marching!

Although I thank you and the March for Life people, there has been no mention here of the opposition to Roe v /Wade decision and a march the same day for those who marched with placards ‘My body, my choice’ and other such slogans.

Lord I pray You will open the eyes of the deceived to Your eternal truth on this abortion issue and let repentance abound and more abortion clinics be closed down.

Father we pray you would raise up a generation that holds fast to their innate God given convictions. We pray they would stand firm against the lies Satan is infecting our young with. We pray they would honor the sanctity & beauty of human life & would stand firmly against abortion & all the lies it holds. Raise up an army of people who want to honor your principles you set to bless your creation Lord! We need you Father.

Lord, place a “bull horn,” a loud speaker, to the words of pro-life. Provide money and voices and avenues in which to speak to those seeking an abortion, that they would know the truth about other avenues, the truth about the life that exists within.
Also, Father, let a wave of “virginity” flood this nation. a godliness that causes all people to save sex for marriage. We need spiritual awakening, Father. This nation and the world are ripe for the harvest. Send the wave, Father. Amen.

No matter what we achieve in state capitals or under the Capitol dome, I don’t believe the fight for life will be over until Christ returns. Even if abortion is outlawed with legislation that liberal courts can’t overturn, the “back alley” abortion industry now can exploit social media that didn’t exist back in 1973. It will always exist in the “underground”. Greatly reduced, perhaps, but not gone away. We must pray and thank God for what has been achieved and can still be achieved. But our hopes must recognize that Satan has not yet been bound and thrown into the pit, and even then one final conflict will await.
