The killings and ongoing catastrophy in the nation of Afghanistan require God’s Hand. The Living God allows disasters in a nation so that we will turn to Him.

Regardless of your nationality, in any one of the 45 nations on this global repent data base, in your prayer closet or in your church, you, as part of the nearly 1,000 on this team, can take time in your time zone internationally to pray, fast and repent this coming Sunday, August 29, 2021.

We will all grow in Christ, that much more prepared as His Bride. He’s the soon-coming Bridegroom!

You know the Scripture: the Lord said to King Solomon and to you and me today, in 2 Chronicles 7: 13-14: ” When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land.”

These are the suggested prayer points; please add others as the Holy Spirit gives them to you:

May the battle become the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20: 15)

May the spirit of death be blocked by God’s Sovereign Hand in Afghanistan and other nations where the spirit of death has been allowed to grow;

In that nation of Afghanistan, may people be hidden supernaturally by the Hand of the Lord just as in John 8:59 when Jesus disappeared into the crowd;

May all those fleeing to the hills or hidden in cities be protected (Psalms 73, Psalms 91);

May the Lord protect, save, and deliver miraculously all women and children being forcibly taken (2 Thessalonians 3:1-5);

May the growing Afghan ecclesia step into its identity in Christ and walk in unity, and continue to grow, with the power of the Holy Spirit (Ezekiel 37, Romans 15:5-6);

May the Afghan church proclaim the Good News boldly to their neighbors who are despairing of Taliban rule.

May there be a safe evacuation and escape for Americans, mission workers of all nationalities, and Afghan believers who feel led to leave the country;

May all those Christians who remain be covered in His Sovereign Protection, able to move to areas of refuge;

May there be His Provision for the widows and orphans, and all those martyred for their faith;

May there be confusion in the camp of the enemy, destroying themselves as in 2 Chronicles 20: 22-30.

The horrific debacle in Afghanistan is more than a military and political problem. It’s a spiritual problem: the Victorious Judeo-Christian Truth of Yeshua/ Jesus, standing for Love and Life v. Satan, the loser, and the anti-Christ spirit of death central to Islam.

We have always had to fight this wicked spirit, personally and as nations.

Once the problem is properly defined, we can call on God’s Word for His Way to defeat Satan. It requires God’s Hand. Human incompetence, if not treason, has created a situation only He can resolve, including protecting Christians and non-Christians facing suicide bombings and beheadings this very day, not just in Afghanistan.

The Word is clear:

‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit’ says the Lord of Hosts. (Zechariah 4:6)

Please join me in praying that our “leaders” will awaken to His Solution. God’s Answer has been used 800—that’s no typo—- times in the history of the USA: a National Day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer. The Living God is ready to fulfill His Word in 2 Chronicles 7:14 if you and I will do our part. He will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land IF His people called by His Name, humble themselves, pray, seek His Face and TURN from our wicked ways.

More than prayer has to happen. The Lord rightfully is looking for our REPENTANCE as well.

Who will be the first “leader” to call for this??

The Holy Spirit, speaking through Paul in Romans 12:21 (Amplified version) tells us today:

Do not be overcome and conquered by evil, but overcome evil with good.

As we wait and pray for God’s Solution, here are additional prayer points from our sister Barbara:

PRAYER DECREE OVER AFGHANISTAN  

We lift up the Name of the Sovereign Lord, Yeshua, the Christ over AFGHANISTAN. And from our position of authority seated with Christ in heavenly places, we declare a halt to the murderous rampage of the Taliban, and we speak the SHALOM of God into the midst of the demonically driven chaos. In the authority of the Name of Jesus we dispatch the Heavenly Host that have been sent out by God to serve, accompany, and protect those innocent men, women and children who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). In the name and power of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth who came in the flesh (1 John 4:3), We decree that the Blood of Jesus has triumphed over and prevails against the entrenchment of all demonic forces seeking dominion in Afghanistan. We loose the Taliban from the spirit of “jihad” that seeks to annihilate Christians and incite hatred and murder. We decree that the spiritual kingdom of Babylon and the stronghold of Islam must bow to the Name, Kingdom, and Authority of the Lord Jesus Christ.  

FOR IT IS WRITTEN:

• “God has highly exalted (Jesus) and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord…” (Philippians 2:10-11) and
• “The kingdoms of this world (shall) become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever.” (Revelation 11:15)
• “…and the government will be upon His shoulder” (Isaiah 9:6) for “the LORD is our Judge, the LORD is our Lawgiver, the LORD is our King.” (Isaiah 33:22)

Then, having authority with Almighty God over all that opposes Him (Luke 10:19), we take the keys to the house of David (according to Isaiah 22:22) and close the spiritual door of access used by these powers of darkness, and we declare annulled all unholy alignments and covenants against the land and people. We call the people out of the reign of darkness and death and into the Kingdom of light and truth — out of the bondage of Islam and into the Liberty of Jesus Christ.

We declare the word of the Lord from Psalm 24 saying: “The land of Afghanistan belongs to the Lord, and all those who dwell therein.” We declare over that nation: “Be lifted up you city gates and ancient doors of Kabul and Afghanistan – so the KING OF GLORY may come in — the LORD OF HOSTS, the LORD STRONG AND MIGHTY, the LORD MIGHTY IN BATTLE.”  We declare that the dominion of Allah and the forces of evil aligned under that stronghold are uprooted and cast out of Afghanistan, and the dominion of the Lord Jesus Christ is established!     

We ask You, LORD OF HOSTS, to show Yourself Mighty – and to call forth Your warrior angels of the Heavenly Host to enforce this decree (Hebrews 1:14) and to withstand this battle in the heavenlies! (Daniel 10:13)

In Yeshua’s  Holy Name above all names, and under His Precious Blood, Amen and Amen.

Prayers are strongest when there is, in advance, time with the Lord to confess sins and repent. Using the gift and power of repentance is vital before you pray for others!
