It Is Time to Shine!
It Is Time to Shine!
Our nation is being overcome with darkness which is getting worse, it seems daily. It is time to Shine and Walk in our Authority! If we believe in Jesus and God’s Word, then we have a desire to stand up for Yahweh and righteousness. It is one of the choices we make – stand up for God or be silent. Our founding fathers made that choice and now it is our time. (To clarify – not a physical war or rebellion. This is a Spiritual war, so we use Spiritual weapons such as prayer. And the sword of God’s Word.) Let’s not be silent like the 12,000 churches in Germany as Hitler was gaining power ( Letter to the American Church, Eric Metaxas, 2022).
God created this great earth and all that is in it, out of darkness (Genesis 1:2). God said “Let there be light” and called it good (Genesis 1:3-4) The light separated the darkness! He made us in His image and after His likeness (Genesis 1:26). In Matthew 5:14-15 Jesus says “you are the light of the world.” Jesus pointed out that a lamp is not put under the bed but instead on a stand to provide light and to be seen. Yahweh told Isaiah, “I will make you a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach the end of the earth” (Isaiah 49:6). God expects us to shine our light and push back darkness! In Isaiah 60:1-3, God said, “Arise and Shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.” It is time to Shine!
Have you taken your place on the wall?
After Yahweh created Adam and Eve, He blessed them and instructed them to subdue His creation (Genesis 1:28). He gave us the responsibility to manage His creation! It is clear God expects us to work and improve the earth and what is in it. He needs us to push back darkness. We are His soldiers. He has empowered us though. When Jesus died on the cross, He gained back the authority Adam lost. In Luke 10:19 Jesus gave us His authority to overcome every evil plot and plan of the enemy. We each have the Holy Spirit in us to guide us and instruct us (Acts 2:4; Acts 2:38-39, Luke 12:12). We have the authority and power to push back darkness and evil! It is time to Shine!
What can we do to push back darkness and shine our light? One effective way is Prayer Walking. Yes, it works and is powerful, as seasoned prayer walkers will tell you. Prayer walking changes the atmosphere, opens heaven and leaves deposits of God’s Word, which is not void! It pushes back darkness and can block evil forces. When you walk around neighborhoods or property grounds saying prayers, making declarations and speaking out loud God’s Word, you are leaving seeds of God’s righteousness and the sword of His Word while shining your bright light. Darkness is exposed, demons flee and the atmosphere changes. Darkness is pushed back! The key is to walk in our rightful authority that Christ has given us. Walk knowing you are claiming the land/area for the Lord and for His Glory! Just watch, He is going to wow you as you see the environment change. Stand up, walk and preserve.
Now is the time to prayer walk around polling places, where mail-in ballots are dropped off, and where votes are stored and counted. Plant God’s seeds now and block any evil intent planned for the election process. If you are not able to walk you can certainly drive around the polling areas and places where votes are mailed dropped and counted. Gather a group or go by yourself at least once a week and more if possible, and more frequently as election day, November 8, approaches. Job 22: 28 tells us that when we decree a thing it is established for you – and your light will shine. Wow! Decree that righteous leaders will be elected and that any corrupt plans to influence or change voting results will be blocked by the mighty blood of Jesus!
Other places to prayer walk are around and through government buildings, federal and state capitols especially before and during sessions, and city halls or where city council and school board meetings are held. School grounds and in the classrooms and, if possible, pray over each desk and gathering areas. After dropping off your children you could park and prayer walk. When picking your children up you could pray in the car and encourage other parents to do so. If you work in a government building or in a school, prayer walk during your lunch time or after work, decreeing needed changes or specific evils to be blocked. When walking in your neighborhood pray for hearts to turn to God, His Presence flow throughout the neighborhood, placement of angels for protection and to keep crime out of your neighborhood, to protect children and bless those in neighborhood. Here is a prayer guide with general instructions, scriptures and declarations that can be said when Prayer Walking. Please feel free to copy and distribute. Let’s push back the darkness that is trying to cover our light!
Prayer walking is easy to do and requires little time in comparison to other activities. God is watching us to see what we do and what choices we make. We are at a turning point and soon we may be forced to wake up and live with tyranny and loss of religious freedom. He is calling us to arise and shine for our time has come! What will be your choice?

I have been reading Isaiah 61-63 Isaiah 61 and 62=really spoke to me loudly. We are called to be Salt and Light!. It is time to take off the bushel baskets from off our heads so we may be seen and speak out for Righteousness against injustice. We can do it in love as led by The Spirit! We can shine as we vote and pray 🙏 for the election and those who are running for office.
Amen and Amen! It is time for us to rise and shine as ambassadors for Christ. Ignoring problems does not make them go away.
Lord, may we have a pure heart for you. https://theprayersentry.com/2022/10/09/message-to-gods-people/
I am definitely a prayer walker. On a recent walk in my neighborhood, I passed by a home where a state delegate lives and I prayed for her spirit to awaken, for her to rise from death, “… and Christ will shine on you.” Less than a minute later, a visitor in the neighborhood stopped me as she was driving past to inquire about some real estate in the neighborhood. We had a friendly exchange, and then she drove away. I read the car license plate and was wowed! “AWAKEN7”
THE LIGHT OF G-D’s GLORY SHINES BRIGHTER STILL
by Eva
Though the night is growing ever darker,
The Light of G-D’s glory shines brighter still
Upon those who name the Name of Yeshua,
Upon those who seek to do His will,
Upon those who love His soon appearing,
Upon those who work His work divine,
Upon those who bring Him all the glory,
Upon those who believe for His wonders and signs
For the saving and healing of the lost and the hurting,
For the deliverance of captives bound in chains,
For the Cross of Meshiach that proved victorious,
For the King of Kings Who ever reigns.
Though the night is growing ever darker,
The light of G-D’s glory shines brighter still
Through the hearts and lives of His dear children
Who desire nothing more than to do His will.
