Last week a group of 20 IFA intercessors converged on the capital for a day of on-site prayer for the three branches of government. After hearing the testimony of the Labor Department’s Director of Faith and Opportunity, Mark Zelden, intercessors surrounded him for a powerful time of prayer.

The Supreme Court was in the middle of determining last week which cases it will hear in this next session. Our intercessors prayed through the halls of the Supreme Court, focusing on each Justice by name.

Even though the House was not in session, our group of intercessors was still able to access the House chamber to pray for an increase of God’s Spirit, and for truth, justice, and light in that room.

With impeachment threats being made, IFA intercessors prayed outside the White House for protection, wisdom, and discernment for the President.

A dinner and debrief session capped our powerful day of prayer and fellowship. God worked so mightily! Some of the best things about the day were the connections made between intercessors, hearing what God is doing in our communities, and sharing prayer strategies.
