I Prayed have prayed
Lord, help us to pray for our police and honor them.
Reading Time: 3 minutes

An intercessor has a message for the “Silent Majority:” I will never forget what I experienced today. I feel so connected to our police and to our city through this shared experience.  I hope that others will feel led to pray for police in their communities and honor them at this time when so many are critical and hateful of police authority.

Overcast skies shielded Tulsa from the hot July sun, but weather didn’t stop the people of Tulsa from turning out in droves today to honor a fallen hero. Police Sergeant Craig Johnson lost his life on June 30th when he was fatally shot while conducting a traffic stop.  An officer with Johnson was critically wounded and lay recovering in a local hospital. It had been 24 years since Tulsa had lost a police officer in the line of duty.  Officer Johnson left behind a wife and two young sons.  He was loved and respected by his fellow officers.

After his funeral service, a long procession of cars, police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances followed the hearse to Sgt. Johnson’s final resting place. I was one of many hundreds of Tulsans who lined the streets along the seven-mile funeral procession route.  Many proudly held American flags of every size – jumbo, extra-large, large, medium, and small. What I thought would be a short few minutes was more than thirty. An endless parade of police vehicles, all flashing their blue and red lights, stretched for miles in the distance as people stood silently to laud a hero that many of us never knew. We may not have known Officer Craig Johnson, but we all knew what he stood for: duty, service, sacrifice, integrity, faithfulness, support, caring. These words describe how many people in Tulsa feel about their police force. I believe many citizens in America feel the same way about their police officers who serve the area where they live. The Tulsans lining the streets shouted what was unspoken: appreciation for our police as servants of our community, support and love for Sgt. Johnson and his family, and respect for law and order.

This was the message today in Tulsa, and it was louder than anti-American, Marxist, or socialist ideologies and far more lasting than the destructive deeds of terrorists. It was the sound of the “silent majority” paying their respects both to a man of courage and to his fellow police officers.

We all stood silently, holding our flags as police car after police car passed by. They came from Tulsa, surrounding communities, other cities, and even other states. No one left. No one moved. No one said a word. There are no words that can be said in this situation – only tears, and love, and pride, and hope for a better future in an America where all people can appreciate how much our police contribute to our community.

I heard the voice of the “silent majority” today, and the sound was deafening!

We pray that Americans can be devoted to one another in love and honor one another above ourselves (Romans 12:10) – especially our police officers and public servants. “For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good.” (Romans 13:4a) “Give to everyone what you owe them: … if honor, then honor.” (Romans 13:7) We pray for God’s supernatural comfort for families of police officers like Sgt. Johnson who have laid down their lives while serving their communities. “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13) May God’s divine protection rest upon our police officers that no harm will befall them, and angels would guard them. (Ps. 91:10-11)

I agree with you we should pray for the police. But there are bad police. This is a problem! We the people must have a way to remove The president, senators, congressman and judges! Clean up the top and maybe the bottom will correct the problem.

I am grateful for our police officers and I thank God for them. I also think it is hard for some of us to examine our hearts and really see that we are more committed to our American ideology than We our committed to Jesus and Christianity worldwide. I am a veteran and I love my country, but I love and am loyal to Christ first. I believe if we really grasped this concept we would not be so divided as a church and nation on so many issues that matter.

Dear Father God, thank You for Your constant protection over our police officers, firefighters, paramedics, military, and search and rescue. Thank You for giving them wisdom to know who the bad guys are, empower them to bring the bad guys to justice, and protect our real heroes and their families. We thank You for each of them. God bless them, minister to them, encourage and strengthen them. In Jesus Name, amen and amen

Oh Lord God I pray protection for our police officers. What they deal with day after day would be hard for many of us. Give them strength, discernment and insight to prevent situations that would bring them harm. Stay the hand of the wicked and stop the evil murder of our officers. Let every officer return home to their family, shower off the days work and join their loved ones. Do whatever is necessary to prevent any foreigners, UN Peacekeepers, from taking over our police departments. American values lead and guide our officers and may they have your mighty army angels on their shoulders.

I will never forget this testimony of what Americans truly are..grateful for those who put their lives on the forefront of battle against all forms of evil. It is discouraging to watch as the media jumps on every opportunity to bring to the forefront of this nations’ “news” those who would promote discouragement in our nations daily life by reporting those voices of distrust in our police force and Armed forces. When you look to the news media for “news” be sure you are getting their slant and not all that is the truth of what happened. The news media no longer reports the news but makes the news because our everyday lives are not “news!”

A major urban city had a incident yesterday where the young man who has been identified as an alleged drug dealer and was on parole for previous felony convictions. shot point blank at the officer’s head several times, and by a miracle he missed but was subsequently fatally shot by the accompanying cops. The young man, even while on the ground, continued shooting. What is interesting is that shortly after the shooting someone posted that this was another incident of police shooting of an innocent young Black male. Before the end of the day, there were about 60 people protesting, throwing bottles and other objects at the police and the riot squad had to be called out. The faces of the protesters were evenly both black and white in a neighborhood that is 99% Black. When interviewed on TV, those who lived in the neighborhood pleaded for the protestors to disband, saying that they did not recognize the protestors as neighbors or anyone they had seen in their neighborhood. Even the media was initially circulating that this was an unjustifiable homicide and tried to conjure up the community to react emotionally. I believe God moved upon the heart of the Police Chief to release the cam-video so the public could see the facts and not the lies that were being perpetuated.

My prayer is that God continue to reveal the plans of the enemy as it appears that satan has his troops ready to stir up strife, anger and fear at every opportunity. Thank you God for your supernatural protection upon those who are assigned to protect us. Let no hurt, harm or danger come upon them. Remove those who are corrupt and raise up those with a pure heart. For God has called us to peace (1 Cor. 7:15), and we are to love truth and peace (Zech. 8:19).

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name: We know this is Your world, but evil does exist until Jesus returns to establish a New Heaven and Earth. I thank you for providing the Law, and calling those like Sergeant Craig Johnson to administer, uphold, and protect citizens from evil, and if need be, will lay down their life for others. The true mark of a hero, and Sergeant Johnson is a HERO as are his wife and sons. I pray for the comfort of his wife, sons, and all who knew him in the days ahead while mourning their loss. Guide, protect,
surround our police with Your angels as they daily encounter the evil in our society. Enable them to handle all situations they find themselves with wisdom, compassion, and ability to overcome threats and dangers encountered with physical strength, as well as, insight and concern to make the right decisions in each
unique case. Be with their families who wait each day for them to come home. Grant them the assurance of Your care for their loved one. Amen

Father in the name of Jesus, recent events have been unfathomable and grossly exploited creating division among races and of many black Americans rightly crying out for justice yet thinking that disrespecting and defunding the police is the answer. Father let not the actions of a small percentage of police officers who erred in judgment toward innocent black Americans affect the masses of innocent Americans and upstanding Police officers by defunding police. Father our nation has many good public law enforcement servants who are desperately needed to protect ALL of us regardless or race, creed, color, crime happens everywhere from the hoods to affluent suburban areas and we need a strong and healthy police force in every county, city, and state to protect and defend the innocent everywhere with the courage and skill to bring criminals to justice and get them off our streets in a righeous humane manner when possible! Father please bring YOUR will and wisdom to our nation in these matters, and bring in highly effective screening and programs into the police force that will identify new racist and corrupt police academy recruits and keep them from getting recruited, and identify racist and corrupt seasoned police officers and deal with them according to your will and ways and righteous judgments! Father please protect our black community and our entire nation from all forms of forms of racial injustice, Father it is truly high time to deal with any remaining racial inequality issues but not at the expense of innocent lives or jeopardizing our safety and stability of our communities and nation by defunding police. Father divinely instruct and judge those who advocate such nonsense and deal with them according to your will and wisdom showing them the error and of this ridiculous idea and how disasterous it could be for all of us including them and their families! Father put your prayers in our mouths and call attention to the innocent police lives which have been taken in the line of duty like OfficerCraig, there have been far too many casualties among police in the line of duty as well as innocent black lives in America and we cry out for your divine intervention in these issues for both camps and all us!!! Father lead us in our prayers and in the wisdom and ways our nation, states, and municipalities need to go and choose and implement quickly in these days to improve the safety of ALL INNOCENT citizens and innocent POLICE, Father help our nation uphold the law and justice system and strengthen it’s arms of protection over ALL innocent and law abiding citizens, police, and government officials and expose and bring down the truly wicked, the corrupt, the true lawless, bring them to justice while protecting and preserving the innocent and our needful justice system so that our justice system can have the respect and holy fear you intended which truly overcomes and defeats all lawlessness! Father we know you hear us and you promise to answer so we await trusting you to bring these prayers to pass. Thank you!!

I am sorry for these riots and loss of good officers, but officer where I’m at are like vigilante officers. They almost took my life, a white female, Christian, I don’t do drugs, drink, and stay in intercession if Prayer and thoughts with God.

I was turning wrong at a stop sign a mile from a house I was renting, I was stopped for the stop sign infraction, just coming from three hours of worship. He decided I was drinking, I called 911 immediately, they did nothing but he said I could be in marijuana and that would cover the alcohol. So he refused me a breath test, therefore handcuffing me so violently that i screamed he broke my chest plate, which the lord said he tore my clavicle bone and my spirit left me as a 5’3 small person he cared none while training his rooky and his Sargent standing there saying nothing. I was taken for a blood test and sat in a jail compound with illegals, murders, etc. The three hours of worship is what saved me as I had no pain and 15 hours later out on bond, my new car towed, a year of my life an attorney $5000, and I have not drank anything in 15 years since at a Rabi’s communion at his home. I don’t have any record in my life and in my late 50’s now treated like a criminal harassed by them continually. The officer joked how people had certain sarcastic names for him. I had worship on my phone, my bible in my seat and had been fasting some and praying. I’m losing a year of my life. I don’t take anything of a drug nature.

So sorry to hear this! Our prayers for the law enforcement are so crucial in these days!!! I pray the Lord blesses and restores you and all that was violently robbed from you that day.Pray for His wisdom as to whether or not to sue, it’s a fine line because we to preserve our police but not the wicked power sick ones. Father expose the police who are on unhealthy power trips and get them the help they need, remove them and clean up our police force so that they can discern a harmless traffic violator and have the courage and skill to clean up our streets of the truly wicked. We thank you for your attention to our prayers and fulfillment of them!

God back then said loudly his eye was on them severely, then the FBI were lodging at the same place I was staying and I could tell they were good guys and I felt safer until they left. They were there for other reasons relating to government levels of cities being invaded or drugs.

But, thanks for your kind words and I’m still trying to recover as I’m never afraid until these encounters with authorities. I am a professional business women, have ministered for ten years Not publically, but state I’m a ministry graduate and they decide somethings wrong. They do carry familiar demonic spirits that hate the Holy Spirit of God.

Thank you so much for the kind words and prayer. The Lord just today had out of the blue someone call and give me a Christian attorney to consult with because they did this a second time a month ago while I was looking for a parking place at Whole Foods waiting for the store to clear and had no identification on them but followed me around and laughed and would not identify theirselves in a unmarked black suv, then hid behind my car and next thing I know the parking lots full of fire trucks, police, and a big scene was made because I voiced they were deceptive, the passenger leaned forward and said why don’t you just go home and take your medications, of course I don’t so I told him he was nasty and go home and take care of their wives, still not knowing who they were all this time, they had on wedding black rings so I thought they were wicked ugly men. It was right after a protest that I had no knowledge of just going to get water and groceries. So they hand cuffed me so violently and decided to drop me at the back of a building with no signs or any indication of where I was at I was terrified thinking I would be harmed there were dumpster, an alley. And outside plumbing with no signs and I am walked into a ward of demonic crazy people. My hands were cuffed so tight they were indented for a week, other women standing there were handcuffed in the front. But, my one distress Ring to Atlanta was a distress call and God did send an angel trying to locate me. My friend of 40 years as an trauma RN walked me through by phone how to operate through this system for 24 hours. I got out with flying colors but all in there could scream and yell, and act out but if I made a move or spoke they wanted to be right at me. $1200.00 bill, and 24 hours of Satan’s world was so horrific no one would believe. All because of bullies that were playing Jack undercover but just private security with no manners of thought. There were criminals in that parking lot too. But this is the next closest small city five minutes from the other area.

As my husband and I were returning home from Mt. Rushmore, we stopped in Nevada for gas. When we tried to leave, there was a huge procession of police vehicles of police cars, sheriff,EMS vehicles, Hundreds of vehicles. We did not know what happened but everyone stopped who were waiting the station and wouldn’t leave. Yes, it was for the funeral of a Nevada officer. A few moments later one could hear many sirens from the vehicles started up and to me, it sounded like the wailings and groaning of lost souls in the heavenliness and I thought about all those affected by this officer’s life. My heart is so moved to pray for these brave warriors.

Let’s put feet to our prayers.
As well as praying for our Police Officers, ask GOD to show you what you can do to show them your support.
Send them a card to say you are praying for them, or drop by one morning with a gift of coffee and donuts, or a basket of fruit, or home baked cookies.
Just let them know you care.

What a beautiful show of respect for some of our most honorable and brave ..our police officers who lay their lives on the line every day..Thank God for those brave men and women…
We honor the beautiful people of Tulsa for their beautiful stance even while grieving..
Let this happen all over the U.S. to counter the few whose voices seem to speak the loudest in their sin and disrespect of our heroes and law and order…
May we not forget to hold up in prayer all police who keep law and order ordained by God💜

Heavenly Father, I thank you for all our police officers, and all they do. During this misguided time, when some people are being deceived into calling good evil, and evil, good, may the true intents and contents of the hearts of those deceived people be revealed to themselves, and dealt with.

In Your grace, please humble them and help them to repent of their hatred and violent attitudes/thoughts towards the authorities that you have placed to be a PROTECTION and blessing in this land. These are wrong heart attitudes, not of You, and need to be stopped in America.

I pray God of Justice, that you would vindicate these noble servants, who make sacrifices, daily, without fanfare, to ensure the safety of the people.

Police officers are important. May they feel the support of your righteous ones across this nation, and please deal with the hearts of every American who is trying to destroy and use fear to spread hatred and division.

Help those who are deceived to turn to you, in repentance. Time is short, and the Great Awakening and rapture are surely coming soon. The signs are there.

Those who are not right with you/not raptured will undergo tumultous times.
Let them/these violent persons bent on promoting evil turn away from wickedness, and to You, now, while there still is time. Save their souls.

Protect all police. Encourage them, and preserve their lives.

Please judge and remove the governors and mayors who are trying to defund police, and, who, in so doing are promoting lawlessness.

Replace these unrighteous, undiscerning governors and mayors with Your righteous ones.

Please cleanse this nation of sin that is being promoted right now. May Your people, called by Your name, humble themselves and pray, and turn from our wicked ways. May this nation realize the ungodliness, even in the church.

Cleanse this nation, and be gracious to us, I pray. In Your good mercy, please forgive is, and heal this land.
