Abortion is one of the most divisive issues in our nation. How much do candidates’ and voters’ views on this topic affect elections?
From The Hill. Most Americans in a new poll said they would take candidates’ abortion policies into consideration before voting them into public office.
Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.
The new CNN poll released on Tuesday found that 55 percent of U.S. adults would consider a candidate’s position on abortion as one of several important factors when voting, while 29 percent said they would only vote for a candidate who shares their views on abortion.
Another 16 percent said they do not see abortion as a major issue that would affect how they cast their ballot, according to the poll.
The survey also found that Americans hold largely the same views on the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade as they did shortly after the ruling came down last June.
While 36 percent in Tuesday’s poll said they approved of the high court’s decision that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion, 64 percent said they disapproved. …

Lord help your people to see that the battle against abortion is not a fight against people, but a fight against the forces of Satan that deceive and blind people. May Christians engage spiritual battle without violence and hatred, but with perseverance and with respect of those who have submitted to the forces of evil.

It is not God’s will to kill. Why would anyone in their right mind think it is valid to kill a child of
God. It is not God’s will for children to be murdered inside or outside of the womb. Call it for
what it is….Murder……

Abortion is not a right to take the life from a child at any point. I consider it murder. Especially after birth. It is a live person. I repent for all those who have committed this dreadful act. In Jesus Holy name I pray it is banned and certainly not paid for with America tax dollars. That is beyond shameful. I trust God to eliminate this practice NOW!
I believe that according to “God’s Word”, free right abortions are an abortion is an abomination unto God. Just think how much more SS money would be in the countries coffers if the millions of “in-needed abortions had been halted. Also, if a young lady is in trouble, how many barren parents could have been blessed by adopting the little ones. Why is objecting to murder is a crime. Thank you for hearing my point of view
As a mother of a large family of biological children I know firsthand the hard work it takes to hold my child in my body as they were formed, birth my child, and raise and educate them. Our last child came when I was in my 40’s – I did have to “reset” my mind to think of beginning again with an additional family member. Now more than 20 years later – I wouldn’t give up that child or any of my other children! EVERY one of them is loved! Was it easy? “No.” Was it worth it? ” ABSOLUTELY: Yes!”
Children are a BLESSING from the Lord! I am glad my husband and I chose to invest the time, strength, love, and support to our children!
Having said all that: a candidate’s position on abortion is a MAJOR deciding point for me! If that person wants to uphold an adult’s choice to murder a defenseless child in the womb more than take a stand for the life of a pre-born child – I will NOT give them my vote to represent me in any position of leadership!
When hearing intimidating poll numbers, meant to place fear of losing an election as a guide, it makes me think of all those men of faith in the Bible, who listened to God’s truth, not man’s, and went forth to conquer, without the numbers behind them. We are conquerors when we vote on God’s truth, not on man’s intimidation, whatever the outcome. God has a plan, He is Victory already and we need not fear the future. Take courage, stand strong and vote for life.

No matter what abortion is murder! If you’re a victim of rape raising your child maybe hard, but there are good families that do not have the capability to have there own child. Take your traumatic experience and help a different family struggling. In end you will feel relief and be blessed.
I will never knowingly support a candidate who cannot solidly take a stand on the life of the unborn.
This is the basic protections that should be enforced under our constitution, How can we be for Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, when the womb becomes the most dangerous place in our nation?

Abortion is one of the major issues that will determine my choice of candidate.
Murder is murder. Too murder an unborn child is evil and diabolical. The Lord of creation, I believe, will never bless our nation again until this disgusting practice of birth control is erased. Re-creation is what God intended for humans not using abortion as the answer to recreation sexual practices. How can God bless a nation who delights in murdering babies because they are an inconvenience.
Time for all people who claim to be Christians to vote Biblical principles.
While I believe that there was a poll by CNN, I wonder if there is not a poll from a different source. I most assuredly would not vote for someone who does not support life in the womb and the rights of the unborn child.
Lord, give all of our elected officials and those who would be elected, a heart for the sanctity of life on every level. Give them wisdom, the words that they need to speak, the actions that they need to take, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
I would never knowingly vote for someone who is not pro-life. It is a major issue, because God cannot and will not bless a nation who bows to the spirit of Molech.
I believe the Bible teaches that murder is a sin, and I view abortion in that light. I do not believe that immediate action taken in the case of rape or incest falls in that category. It is truly a medical emergency when a child, unfortunate enough to have menses earlier than 12, has been raped or lured into a sexual encouter resulting in pregnancy. The reproductive system is immature, but even more so, the emotional and mental capability for providing nurturing childcare are not there.
I do not believe the constitution or any other sensible document provides rights to abortion, which is taking the life just as much as pulling a gun and shooting an innocent bystander.
Abortion is murder! Life begins at conception, and should not be taken for convenience, corruption, or gain!

As regards abortion – an embryo and a fetus are alive – they meet all scientific requirements for life. They are human – they will never be rabbits or birds, e.g. They are most definitely, obviously human life.
What is being pushed, and by some desired, is abundant copulation for fun, in any way with any one most of the time, and without any responsibility.
Why cannot people call it like it is???
