Lord, we ask for Your Truth about how to best handle the transmission of virus' in public places to become widely known and accepted. We ask that freedom would reign in this nation; and we ask You to end Covid.

Dozens of House Republicans and their staffers marched maskless out of the House to the Senate floor in protest of the new mask mandate for the lower chamber.

The lawmakers and their staffers traveled across the Capitol on Thursday to protest the fact that Capitol Police have instructed officers to arrest staffers and visitors who don’t wear masks…

“Congressman Roy said it succinctly on the House floor Wednesday: ‘We have a crisis at our border and we’re playing footsie with mask mandates…,’” a Roy spokesperson told Fox News…

“The fact that Speaker Pelosi is willing to have vaccinated staffers arrested for not complying with her mask mandate while the border remains wide open tells you all you need to know,” they continued. “This isn’t about science. It’s about politics and control.”…

“Along with the majority of Americans, we rejected the totalitarian, hypocritical, and arbitrary ruling from Speaker Pelosi demanding masks be worn in the House,” Cawthorn said…

Capitol Police told Fox News in a Thursday email that “there is no reason it should ever come to someone being arrested.”…

So far, there is no such mask mandate on the Senate side…

What are your thoughts about individual responsibility in regards to masks? Please share a prayer below.

  1. Every week thousands of people are dying from the virus. If wearing a mask could help prevent the spread of the virus in even a small way then in consideration of others we should make that effort. This is “loving your neighbor as yourself”. And certainly we should be vaccinated. Not only could that protect our children who are not old enough to be vaccinated but could stop the virus from mutating to something which may be a lot worse than what it is now. Please listen to what the doctors are saying and not to misinformation that is being spread via the internet. 99.9 % of those hospitalized with Covid 19 are unvaccinated.

    1. Elizabeth I respectfully disagree with you entirely and I think you are misinformed or perhaps believing the lie that the news media is spreading.

I am 76, had covid 18th months ago and now have its antibodies in my system. I do not wear a mask unless I absolutely have to, which is actually very rare here in Florida. We have a great governor who has much in the way of commonsense.

We have a great God and we must look to Him and not politicians or evil people like Fauci. Let our heavenly Father, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit be our focus.

    2. I respectfully disagree, as well. On many levels.

First, re the mask, the veil is taken away in Christ; when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. The Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. It is our Lord Himself who has breathed into us His breath of life – His Spirit – and He has told us not to quench the Spirit. We instinctively know masking is WRONG: we need to breathe freely! That’s how our Creator made us!

Re the “vaccine”, it is still only in the experimental stage, and has NOT been approved by the FDA. We have no idea what the long term consequences will be, as the long term human safety trials are currently being conducted with those taking it!
I hear many voices saying that the “vaccine” may actually push the virus into mutating even more than viruses usually do, and since the “vaccine” weakens our God-given immune systems, those who have been “vaccinated” may actually face far more devastating infections in future than the un-vaccinated, as a result.

Also, as an experimental substance, those taking it must, according to law, be given sufficient information to give informed consent – as in any clinical trial. But I think most have NOT been given this information.

Are you aware that, according to CDC data (as seen in their Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System), thousands have died from the COVID vaccines? (The swine flu vaccine was taken off the market after only 53 deaths!)

Re who we should listen to, I think it wise advice to “follow the money” and consider who is paying for or sponsoring the information provided.

Re hospitalizations, I just saw a graph on this site that, of those recently hospitalized with COVID, more of those actually dying have BEEN VACCINATED.

It is surely a quite confusing time.
We MUST keep our focus on the Truth! And we MUST allow God’s wisdom, which comes from “many counselors”, to guide us. His wisdom is more precious than gold! And His Word is faithful and true!

  2. We are far beyond the argument of whether masks work or not. They are ‘somewhat’ effective but not anywhere near what political control freaks and robotic media disinformation conformists want us to accept or should I say “force us to accept”.
The political and media control parasites have bought and sold themselves to “the lie”.
It was predicted over and over (by reasonable people who believe in facts and science) that once the virus was under control, the power hungry individuals & groups behind all of this would “create another crisis of increased intensity”. Enter the Delta variant. (the timing was impeccable) Let people relax a little bit, then hit them again with more unproven fear mongering. Notice I didn’t say there isn’t a delta variant – there is. But all we “hear” is that it’s more contagious and deadly… but when challenged regarding data, facts, etc. – little to nothing is shown. Throw out a few repeat narratives, couple of made up selective graphs, etc. of hospitals filling up, increased percentages and other embellished stats to bolster the new lie. The WH press puppet Psaki gets visibly irritated when asked for proof, even responding once to a reporters question “what do you need that for”!!?? (in other words, we don’t have those types of facts – how dare you ask that)!! Lies, cover-up, fraud & deception will eventually wear a person out – and be revealed. It’s really starting to show in full view how often this administration lies and we,as Christians, must continue to pray that it is continually revealed for the flurry of fraud they are vomiting out. And I truly pray it wears them down to the point of “I cannot do this anymore”. Masks are not as effective as we have been told and for some, do more harm than good. Doesn’t anyone find it odd that they keep talking about forcing America into another mask charade mandate but they seldom talk about social distancing anymore? Hmmm? In the meantime, conformist democrat governors, mayor’s, etc. cancel events while Obama prepares to host a mask less 60th birthday party shindig with wall to wall elitists attending… complete with “prepared photo ops” showing people wearing masks to prove to the world how “responsible and caring they are”. Oh, they care alright except that they care about one thing alone – their preservation as elitists who want to control every aspect of our lives.
In our nation, I’m sure there are people who need to wear masks for health reasons. That is their decision. But until there is 100% conclusive proof that masks are 100% effective in prevention (catching/spreading), then it’s up to the individual. And if masks are 100 or 90 or 80% effective…then why is the government trying to force people, through guilt, to get vaccinated and take a vaccine that is incomplete in coverage, still experimental and causing numerous side effects. Side effects that they refuse to discuss?
**Father, guide your people to truth. Guide the unsaved to the truth. And continue to bring forth people who expose the facts of what is really taking place. Give those people courage with boldness that they have never experienced before. Amen.

    1. CN. You are so right! Put fear, lies and deception together and you can control a nation! That’s exactly what is happening to our country. I pray we will KNOW the truth and the truth will set us free!
