From The Epoch Times: The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Feb. 7 declared a heightened terrorism threat due to “false and misleading narratives,” misinformation, and “conspiracy theories.”

“The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information introduced and/or amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors,” the DHS bulletin said.

The agency did not say what foreign or domestic actors are responsible for the alleged proliferation of misinformation or disinformation.

“Mass casualty attacks and other acts of targeted violence conducted by lone offenders and small groups acting in furtherance of ideological beliefs and/or personal grievances pose an ongoing threat to the nation,” the DHS continued, adding that some individuals are seeking to “sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions.”

Some individuals, the bulletin alleged, are calling for violence against critical infrastructure, faith-based institutions like churches or synagogues, colleges, government personnel or facilities, and other targets.

As an example of key factors that allegedly contribute to the heightened threat environment, the DHS said there are misleading narratives surrounding COVID-19 and claimed that some individuals have used COVID-19 mandates or vaccines to carry out attacks since 2020. The agency did not elaborate or provide additional evidence for its allegations. The DHS also listed online claims of election fraud as a contributor, and it also did not provide additional details or evidence.

The agency said that “foreign terrorist organizations and domestic threat actors continue to amplify pre-existing false or misleading narratives online to sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions. It said violent extremists, including the individual who recently launched an attack against the synagogue in Texas, highlight “the continuing threat of violence based upon racial or religious motivations, as well as threats against faith-based organizations.”

Excerpted from the DHS bulletin:

  • Some domestic violent extremists have continued to advocate for violence in response to false or misleading narratives about unsubstantiated election fraud. The months preceding the upcoming 2022 midterm elections could provide additional opportunities for these extremists and other individuals to call for violence directed at democratic institutions, political candidates, party offices, election events, and election workers.

It appears to me that the people who are requiring mandates, lock downs, vaccine passes, etc. are trying to scapegoat the unvaccinated and make them look like conspiracy theorists. They go even further and propose that these folks are terrorists (much like the disgruntled parents who attended school board meetings were targeted as terrorists).
The vaccines do not protect from disease and those who have them now outnumber the unvaccinated in numbers of sick and people hospitalized with Covid. At the same time, all cause death is up 40%, cancer cases up 300%, neurological disease up 1000%, and much more. The vaccines are clearly not helping people’s health, but let’s blame the conspiracy theorists.
Those who chose to not get the vaccine simply do not believe the MSM pandemic narrative and the excuses which have removed most of our freedoms. However, they are not necessarily out wreaking havoc. In fact, most of the ones I know are quiet, thoughtful Christians.

I agree with you. Discernment is of the utmost importance here. There have been many “code words”
used for people who are NOT what the government officials say they are. (Truckers for example)
Let’s continue to call on GOD for wisdom, discernment, clarity of mind, and grace in our speech and
protection as we move about in our daily lives.

FATHER GOD I bind all of the lies put out by DHS and this current lying Federal Government Administration. Let these people see the face of their father of all lies, satan, and please give them dreams of their future in hell if they don’t repent and accept the free gift of salvation offered by CHRIST in JESUS NAME! FATHER GOD YOUR WORD says that whatever we bind on earth is bound in Heaven so I bind every trick and lie of satan attempting to persecute the people of GOD and every person that disagrees with the narrative of biden and his followers! I loose the protection and anointing of CHRIST over us that believe and follow truth in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS! Amen!
