I Prayed have prayed
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Pray for revival to be birthed out of the Camp Fire devastation and pray for the local church bodies to be powerfully anointed by the Holy Spirit as they care for those in need. How are you praying about the fires in California? Leave a comment to share.

John answered them all, “I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” (Luke 3:16)

In California, victims of the disastrous wildfires are just trying to survive day to day. Even though many churches were lost in the fires, some are still stepping up to help those in need.

The wildfires burned roughly two-thirds of the churches in Paradise, California, to the ground. But even though churches have been hit hard, members are pushing through to help their neighbors in need.

The East Ave Church in Chico now doubles as an emergency shelter, a haven for hundreds who’ve been displaced by the “Camp Fire” in Northern California.

Operation Blessing met the lead pastor of Paradise Alliance Church, Josh Gallagher. He told the team how his family barely escaped the Camp Fire which leveled their home.

Gallagher sent his family on to Sacramento but stayed behind to help other evacuees.

“Right now we don’t even know where our congregation is,” Gallagher told Operation Blessing. “They are literally scattered all over California, surrounding states, and the nation.”

“But we don’t even know right now, and that is the heaviest thing that’s on our heart because we’re supposed to be caring for these people spiritually and physically, and we’re not even sure where they are at this point,” he continued.

Gallagher believes the Church will be essential to rebuilding the community and is hopeful that Paradise, California, can be reborn as church leaders join with city leaders, and groups like Operation Blessing come alongside to help.

“As we were talking with some government officials, they let us know that if this community is going to be rebuilt, the faith community is going to have to lead the charge,” he shared. “Because it’s within the faith community that people find hope; they find belonging; they find worth.” (Excerpted from CBN News. Thank you for these Pastors, Lord, i pray that you would meet all their needs as they tirelessly work for the good of all those who have lost all as they have, yet maybe without their faith to lean on. I pray that hearts would be turned to you Lord, that each person living through this devastation would know that they can call on you Lord, and that you hear their cry and may they be comforted. In Jesus name, Amen

I want to thank God for those who are giving assistance to those who have lost their homes, their Church Houses and family members. All cannot go but all of us can pray and intercede on their behalf. Also, I pray for the Pastor of Paradise Alliance Church and his family. I pray for protection for those who have lost their homes and that each home will be rebuilt. In the meantime, that they will find shelter, food and clothing. Keep the firefighters safe and give them strength, courage and wisdom in dealing with this kind of massive fires. I ask God to build a hegde about them giving them guidance as they labor to contain the fires. Father, be near all who are fighting the fires; to those who are providing assistance of any kind. These things I pray in the Powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen!.

Dear Lord Jesus
you that is always in control of all situations around us,
you that know a thing even before it happens,
may you take glory for all what we are facing now as your faithful children
because we have confidence in you that one day we will sit at your feet to suffer no more.
In Jesus name
Amen.

Father God,
I pray for the brothers and sisters on the California family. Please comfort them and gather them together under Your wings. Show them how to reconnect and rebuild their community as leaders and followers of Jesus. Start a revival that leads the way back to You Lord and draws the family together stronger and more equipt to serve you than ever before. Bless them and cause them to be a blessing to the lost and homeless fire striken community. Use them in a mighty was to show the hesed love of Christ. Show your church nation wide where You are working so we can join You. In Jesus name Amen

Dear Father God, as you did for my family several months ago, I pray that instead of focusing on “things lost in the fire”, the focus will shift to “things found because of the fire.” No one really knows why the fires were started, Father God, but you know; for you are all seeing, all knowing and all-being…you are the God of NOW yesterday, the God of NOW today, and the God of NOW tomorrow.
It is written: Romans 13:12, 14 “…put on the armor of light, put on Lord Jesus Christ”.
We decree and declare that Your kingdom come now, Your will be done now on earth as it is in heaven”. I pray for the many displaced and the many lost, both in bodies and those in souls and spirits. Let Your strong arms surround not only California, but the nation as a whole. I know your plan is unity for the church, Your bride…let there be a wide casting of Your Spirit to ignite the loosing and the binding here on earth as it is in heaven. We pray for the igniting of the fires in minds, hearts, souls and spirits to garner Your strength through the Holy Spirit of God, the Ruach Elohim! We take authority over the evilness of all principalities here on earth and cutoff the enemies’ hold on our nation with the pruning of the mighty dunamis of the Holy Spirit of God in the Name of Jesus Christ. I take authority and cutoff every evil tentacle that is attempting to gain a stronghold by the sucking of life blood from mankind and I render those tentacles impotent in the Name above all names, the King of Kings, the Lord of lords, the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, the Root and Off-spring of David, and the Bright and Morning Star…the Name of Yeshua the Messiah. Amen and Amen.
