The Chosen Season 3 will end up doubling the box office revenue from last year’s opening weekend with The Chosen Christmas special, and that was the #1 most successful Fathom Event in history.
“The success of The Chosen Season 3: Episode 1 & 2 is the perfect example of how innovative the event cinema business has become and how hungry audiences are for faith-based content,” said Ray Nutt, CEO of Fathom Events. “Additionally, the robust partnership that we’ve developed with Angel Studios and The Chosen team really works – not only for Fathom Events and our exhibition partners but for fans everywhere, including several international territories who want to see this content on the big screen and as a community.”

“There’s an appetite here, so we’re going to debut Season 3, the first two episodes, in theaters and try something new and figure out something that we haven’t done before at this level,” Jenkins told Movieguide. “If it works, we keep going. We’re going wherever God parts the seas towards.”
The Christmas special became Fathom Events’ best-selling and most highly attended event at the time, earning $8 million in sales on opening night.
“For me, it’s about the impact and seeing what God is doing,” Jenkins told CBN’s “The PrayerLink”. “God has something to say and I’m just wanting to be a part of it.”

I could not love this series anymore! Cannot wait to watch season 3 at the theaters! Well done!
I totally agree with Colleen, the word of God says let God be true and every man a lier.
Yes we have watched it, shared it and seen God use it powerfully as the producers intend–to draw viewers to the Bible itself and to faith in Jesus Christ! My 84-year old brother has never had any interest in spiritual things, never responded to the gospel. But he watches every episode of The Chosen and has said, “If the real Jesus is like Jesus as portrayed in The Chosen, I could believe in Him.” I believe God can use this series to bring my brother to faith in our Lord.
Plausible backstories are given for each disciple and those for whom Jesus does miracles; they are not “false” or unBiblical, because the Bible does not give us this information, but presented as “possible”and “reasonable” lives and personalities for those people around and impacted by the Lord Jesus.
Sorry to disagree, but the chosen in not biblical and pushes a false gospel.
What is the false gospel you speak of?
It professes to be true to the Bible’s teachings, as well as a faithful representation of the Bible’s stories and characters. The Bible, however, declares itself to be inerrant and infallible in all that it teaches, as well as God’s authority in all that it commands. It’s God’s Word. If it condemns any attempt to visually represent the content and characters of the Bible (which it does) then one has no need to watch The Chosen because it claims to visually represent it—in direct disobedience to the Scriptures.
Praise God as inroads are being made in the movie culture with Jesus breaking into the reformation season with this faith-based quality movie production. Thank you all connected to “The Chosen”. God is birthing revival and reformation. The woke are awakening. He who the son sets free is free indeed. No king but Jesus who gives his authority to the ecclesia, his representatives here on Earth. On Earth as it is in heaven.
Such a powerful production. The Holy Spirit moves throughout the theater when this file was shown. You could hear people quietly crying and then joy would break out at other times. This is a great series to introduce to those in your family that are “pre-Christians”.
