Father, thank You for giving this team a victory. May the other MLB teams follow this example and do away with LGBT affirmation.

The Texas Rangers have made a name for themselves by being the only MLB team to refuse to host a “pride” night. Now they’re champions.

From CBN. The Texas Rangers are World Series Champions for the first time in the franchise’s 63-year history after beating the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0 on Wednesday in Game 5. And many of the players have remained thankful to God for their success in the post season.

“Anyone that interviews me or gives me an opportunity to speak, God’s going to receive the glory,” said Tony Beasley, the longest-tenured Rangers coach, recently.

Winning the World Series is a first for many of the players and coaches including rookies Evan Carter and Josh Jung.

“This is just an unbelievable experience,” Carter told the MLB Network following the game. “What a group of guys to experience it with. I’m blessed to be here. It’s unbelievable…what a dream come true.” …

Just two months ago, Carter wasn’t even on the roster, spending most of the season in the minor leagues. But by the time the postseason started a month later he was a starter and the number 3 hitter, Sports Spectrum reports.

A core group of veterans led the way to victory, but Carter and Jung played a crucial role in the team’s historic run, which included an 11-0 record during road games during the series, according to the outlet.

And their faith has been on full display the entire season.

Jung’s bio on X reads, “Baseball is what I do, not who I am,” and “Competitor for Christ.” …

Carter grew up in a Christian family in Elizabethton, Tennessee, and participated in his church’s youth group, Church Leaders reports. …

Meanwhile, many Rangers fans are posting on social media about one reason they’ve supported the team so fervently. They point out that the Rangers were the only MLB team that refused to host LGBT Pride night, and they’re grateful the organization honored God in that way.

Lord, what a blessed victory it is for the Texas Ranger to win the Word Series, the only MLB team not to affirm LGBT night. May the world take note and respect the integrity of Christians who stand up against the ungodly LGBT stance. After they come to respect, may they also look into the issue and see that LGBT values are destructive values. May they be open to your spirit and come into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Continue to give a backbone for other Christian athletes–e.g. certain National Hockey League players–who refuse to give affirmation to LGBT. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Just heard Pastor Troy Brewer speaking about this! Go Rangers! What a wonderful, brave team, to stand up to the Rainbow Mafia and refuse to have “pride” nights, and to have such awesome Christian coaches and players!

Thank you, Rangers, for returning baseball to the family-friendly, wholesome, great-American-pastime it was designed to be!

Gotta’ love these boys of summer!

Echoes the message in the movie Chariots of Fire about Scottish Christian runner Eric Liddell who ran for the glory of God in the 1924 Paris Olympics. The movie depicts an American Christian runner handing Liddell a note before his race which read, “I will honor those who honor Me.”
of course, God loves everyone. But whether Liddell or the Rangers honors God, they are not just giving credit to where credit due, but they’re making known the Name of the One so needed by people in the world He so loves.

As a Texas resident I am so proud of the Texas Rangers. Many Texans are upset that they beat the Houston Astros, but I’m not. God honors those who honor Him. Rejoicing in their stand for righteousness.

I had given up on the Major leagues almost across the board due to their weakness in supporting wring things. I am now a Texas Rangers fan!
