Developing Update, 8/26/2021, 1:20 pm ET, From FAI Wire: “Two explosions reported outside the Kabul airport, more than 40 dead, 120 wounded, many critically. 4 US Marine fatalities in the attack. US military reportedly sealing the gates of Kabul airport, Pentagon Press Sec announces withdrawal will be complete in 36 hours.”

Early this morning we were informed that the U.S. government has stopped ALL private rescue efforts. A group of 300 orphans, helpful allies with visas and American citizens were turned away from the gate at the airport, sending them out to face the Taliban. Meanwhile, see the Tweet below from Sean Feucht–a mostly empty plane leaving Kabul because the Taliban won’t let people through to the airport! Just hours ago, an explosion outside the Kabul airport killed at least 3 U.S. service members and 3 others, with 30 injured. Details are still coming out about it and no one has claimed responsibility. However, the U.S. State Department had warned of an imminent threat from ISIS in the hours before the attack.

Here is what we know about these rescue operations and the current dire situation today:

• Staffed by retired military (now private citizens).
• The efforts are funded by private citizens.
• Helicopters were purchased from foreign governments to help extract people from Afghanistan.
• Private organizations have procured passage to other nearby countries.
• 5,000 vulnerable people have been saved in the last two weeks, including American citizens, allies, and orphans.
• The United States government and military have not participated in this effort.
• Just hours ago, the U.S. government stopped all private rescue efforts.
• 300 orphans, allies with visas, and American citizens were turned away from the airport gate by the U.S. government. These people were left helpless to face the Taliban. Over 10,000 people are stranded at the airport.
• Some miracles have taken place. Prayer has carried many participating through this heinous time and has enabled amazing connections.

Here’s a personal miracle story:

A young woman, American-educated, worked with allies and served in the Afghan President’s office. She received a message from the Taliban that they would rape and kill her.

These volunteer rescuers were able to connect American former military volunteers on the ground to where she was hiding and the team of private soldiers extracted her. This is her face.

Because of prayer, these miracle stories are happening. PRAYER IS KEY!

1. Pray for those who were rescued and are now being relocated to another country.
2. Pray for those who have been left behind – for protection and another way out.
3. Pray for the military veterans and private citizens who are undertaking this military-size rescue effort, all on a volunteer basis and with donations.
4. Pray for the moral crisis our nation is in, with this tragic situation that our own government created through its inaction and continued denial. We have always been the rescuers, the moral compass for the world, and now we are not.
