I Prayed have prayed
Lord God, please encourage the weary intercessors. Please increase our hope and our perseverance. May we be willing, obedient children of the Most High God.
Reading Time: 3 minutes

A longstanding Daily Jot reader once wrote expressing in just a few sincere words what many feel on a daily basis. He wrote: “I pray daily concerning the state of our Country and world, I write my congressman and senator encouraging them to stand for the constitution and on Godly principles. I also share the truth of the Gospel and on what’s really going on in our Country and in government with others, but I feel so helpless. I mean, I don’t feel like I’m putting a dent in what’s going on. Help!” I have been writing The Daily Jot for nearly 18 years. The state of the world has steadily declined and will continue to do so. Christians, take heart. We are to overcome evil with good and not grow weary in doing it.

You can take action today. Send a message to your Congressional Representative about the impeachment vote.

Every phone call you make. Every letter you write. Every email you send. Every word you speak. Be encouraged. The Lord said in Isaiah 55:10-12, “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”

Neither be offended. The Lord says in Ezekiel 3:17-19, “When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.” No matter how long, no matter how difficult things become, do what the Lord tells you to do. As you do these things unto the Lord, you have made a transfer, so to speak, from yourself to others. It is now on them to act responsibly with the information. You have done your part.

God sent his only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins that we might have life everlasting. It’s up to us to share the many facets of living out our salvation. 2 Corinthians 4:7-10 exhorts: “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” Keep going. Keep doing. You never know when your action may be that last full measure needed to advance God’s plan. Hope, Faith, Action.

Jehoshaphat had the choir leading with worship songs his army nehind him.
The enemy was huge and looked ominous.
The worship was so powerful, the enemy started killing each other until all enemies were dead. It took Jehoshaphat and his army three days to haul the things that remained .
When we worship in Spirit and truth we can defeat armies. Jehoshaphat won the battle that day with worship.

Amen! 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war against the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. We thank you Dear God for this weapon of prayer and using the Mighty Word of God to pull down strongholds of the enemy. Thank you for encouraging us to not grow weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. Galatians 6:9. Hallelujah!!

As a nation we are on our way to experience the “Gift of Repentance”.

“Those that are for us are more than those that are against us”

HE IS FAITHFUL. –Faithful is what HE IS, not a decision HE makes situationally.

We praise and worship YOUR HOLY NAME, for You are Good and YOUR LOVE ENDURES FOREVER.

I thank God and bless His holy name for all of us who are interceding for president Trump. Let us be encouraged in the Word of God and continue to pray regardless of what is going on. “The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations” Psalms 33:10-11. There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand-Proverbs 19: 21. “—God changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings—” Daniel 2:21.

Father in Heaven, your word says write it plain upon the tables so he that reads it can run with it. It also says that no man need teach you. I thank you for the above and below encouraging words. I thank you that you have a plan. I thank you that your plan is to prosper us and not to harm us and to bring us to an expected end. I read the end of the book. More than once. Our world looks a lot like those churches and times that were written about. so much so that it is like reading the daily newspaper. Almost like when things happen it is what was expected. I think that is why you have us meditate on your word. You would not have us be ignorant. Thank you for writing it out plain. Thank you for all of these wonderful people who have very encouraging words. Help us all to get ready and stay ready as they things of this world grow strangely dim. Bless us Father and thank you for the many blessings. Thank you for Jesus! In His name I pray Amen

In Luke 11 and Luke 18, Jesus uses two parables to tell us to pray, keep on praying and not lose heart. I have taken these statements to heart for many years, and am always encouraged by referring back to them when I get discouraged. The Lord called me to pray for the nation over 20 years ago, and I have been praying the Daniel 9 prayer for all this time, even though I see that the culture as gotten worse, instead of better over this time period. Still, I believe with all my heart that I am called to continue to pray for the Church, Israel and America, for the Lord has not released me from that call to pray so long ago. I am old now, and may not see the results that I pray for, but am confident that God will accomplish what I and many others have prayed for in His time, which is always perfect.

We pray daily that our representatives would have ears to hear and eyes that see, because as many times
over the years that I’ve written to our senators, and congressmen, I receive no answer or their replies sound
canned or they are obviously saying no I’m voting the party line. We pray that the Holy spirit would touch their
hearts and minds and that they would follow the constitution and work for all the citizens in our state no matter
what party they belong to, or how they voted. Amen

Just this morning I woke up crying out to the Lord to help me know how to pray for the nation. I felt so utterly discouraged about the apostasy in the church and the corruption in our government. I prayed for years that what was hidden in darkness would be brought to light, and it has been. Yet the enemy is still raging against truth through the liars in congress and the previous administration who look like they are going to get away with their wicked treasons. I wondered if all the evil was the result of God giving our nation over to its uncleaness, but the encouragement from you all has strengthened my resolve to continue to intercede. To remember that our God will keep His children in the midst of the storm, and that He is still in control. I was especially encouraged by the scriptures posted on here Gal 6:9 and Psalms 5:7-12.

The enemy rages as long as he exists, but we must persevere with tenacity, unwilling to quit. Even when we win, we must continue with vigilance or our liberties will be destroyed by the enemy. He waits until he sees an opening to attack and destroy. So like Nehemiah, as we build our walls, we bear the sword.

I believe that Gal.6:9 must be our plumbline in this season. The amplified Bible states it this way:”And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for IN DUE TIME and AT THE APPOINTED SEASON we SHALL REAP, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.” Courage, at its heart, is not boldness. It is ‘coeur’-age: in other words, it comes from those things which our hearts (coeur)are convinced of deeply. Take heart! He has overcome and His kingdom is EVER INCREASING on the earth! Is.9

Dear Intercessors,

I pray that you don’t lose heart at the headlines, don’t lose heart at what seems like a loss. Stay positioned in the place of prayer and trust that God knows what he’s doing. He is omipotent and omnipresent and omniscient. He is already aware of the future because he is there. He is all powerful and all knowing and because he is I know that he is not in heaven speaking wringing his hands saying, “what next?” He is always ahead of the enemy, the word even says in Psalm 37:13 that “He laughs at his enemies, he sees their day is coming.” It has been said time and time again that we don’t pray for victory, but from victory. As long as we are in Christ we are victorious. Father I pray for a spirit of refreshing to comfort all the intercessors who are feeling weary. I pray Lord that we learn to enter into your rest even in the midst of warring. We can always find rest in your presence Father. I pray every intercessor facing personal battles would be covered by the peace of God that would surpass our understanding. I was encouraged by reading Hebrews 7 that talks about Jesus as our perfect High Priest seated at the right hand of God. It eased my anxiety and brought me peace. If you are an intercessor, you know all about people coming to you often with prayer requests, while fighting you’re own battles. Seldom will someone reach out to you and say, “how can I pray for you?” It can be a heavy load to bear. In Hebrews 7:25 it says that Christ is able to save those who come to him from the uttermost, for He lives to make intercession for them.
That blessed me. Christ who is seated at the right hand of God is interceding for mankind. The ones “uttermost” who seem very far from God and for us intercessors the children of God. CHRIST IS INTERCEDING FOR YOU TODAY. He understands weariness, because he was weary. He understands sorrow, he was the man of sorrows. He understands grief, he felt it time and time again on Earth. The one thing he never faces was defeat, because he defeated Satan at the cross. He is undefeated. He is uncontended. He is unstoppable. He is Almighty. He is the great I AM. He is Alpha and Omega and he always will be. He is for us not against us. He is victorious and the word says that we are overcomers and more than conquerors in Him.
Father I pray for every Intercessor reading this to be blessed in his presence. I pray that he would strengthen them as they wait upon the Lord. For He who has promised us is faithful to keep his word. He never abandons us. He never fails us and he won’t start now!
Intercessors keep praying!
Keep warring! Keep travailing! Keep standing! Keep building! Keep plowing! For the Lord is with you mighty warriors!
No word from God will ever fail.
In Jesus name, Amen

Me too! Sometimes discouraged that I have prayed for many years for my territory, my country, for other countries and yet the world seems to become more rebellious to God. Praying for neighbors, family, leaders, schools. Writing, emailing, calling, visiting.
Galatians 6:9 and let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
2 Cor 9:6 encourages us to sow bountifully that we might reap an abundant harvest.
I am sowing prayers that are on Gods heart in faith and I expect a mighty harvest. Perhaps someone else will reap where I have planted. It’s my LORD’S field. I am merely the servant.
I encourage myself in the Word of God Ps 73 describes this plight & Verse 17 TPT But then one day I was brought into the sanctuaries of God, and in the light of glory, my distorted perspective vanished. Then I understood that the destiny of the wicked was near!
I will continue to stand on the wall praising my Lord with the weapon of prayer and praise knowing that in a moment “suddenly” Christ may come again. O glorious day!

Wow! Thank you, Lord for providing these prayers of encouragement and hope. What a blessing it is to pray with others in confidence that You hear us. Ps 40:1 “I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry.” We serve the God who hears and who moves in ways we don’t see but we do trust! Thank you, Almighty God for Your faithfulness and loving kindness! Praise be to You, Oh righteousness God! In Jesus Name we pray!

Yes, we must press on & not get weary. Our God is in control; let’s continue to praise & glorify His Holy name, trusting & believing that He will be with us throughout this time and all times. “Be strong in the Lord & in the power of His might that we may stand against the dev
il.” We pray in Jesus’ Holy
name.

Dear Intercessors,
Of all things, this morning I just read about William Booth via Jonathan Cahns’s Devotional, Sapphire. In the early days of founding the Salvation Army Booth was attacked and criticized by Thomas Huxley, a skeptic and biologist. Booth’s son Bramwell was offended and very upset. Booth said to his son 50 years from now this circumstance will not matter but how we followed the Lord and continued to do His work and accomplish His purpose will. Don’t get distracted! Don’t get offended! Perfect reminder to me! Distraction and discouragement are exactly what the enemy wants!
I think Psalm 27:13, that incredible pouring out to the Lord from David says it, I would have lost ❤️Unless I believed that I would see the goodness of God in the Land of the Living! Don’t lose ❤️ God is faithful to His promises!

We walk by faith and not by sight! We are not moved by what we see or feel we are strong in the Lord and the power of his might.we are not fighting flesh and blood but principalities and powers against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We are going to stand our ground against the enemy, keeping our armour of God on. We choose to walk in love and we will not become weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. In the Mighty Name Of Jesus!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
2Cor. 4:8, … yes , we are weary but we must remember that we are
“Not destroyed.”
Our prayers are being heard and in His timing they will be answered.
Jeremiah worked for the Lord for 40 years, weeping because they would not listen.
We also weep from weariness, but He is faithful. He hears our cries, He will act.
Stand strong , put on that suit of armor and know that we belong to a Righteous God .

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We must set our sights on things above and not be tempted to dwell in the feelings of defeat by overthinking what transpires here on this planet. The heavenly realm operates at a different pace than we do here.We can safely cling to that hope and knowledge because we know God is at work,Jesus is with is,and,we are filled with the Holy Spirit! These three truths are a constant even though the world seems to be asunder. When I am starting to feel hopeless I recall how St Stephen had just one convert-St.Paul. I recall Hebrews 11:1-39 that reminds us we are to live by faith, not by sight as Moses,Abraham,David,Able,Enoch Noah and so on
11:39-40″These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised.God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.” God is sovereign,He is with us so be encouraged because he is faithful to complete the good works as promised.

Abundant Blessings,
Sandra
