From The Daily Wire. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) flashed confidence in his ability to prevail over an effort to remove him as speaker following the passage of a short-term spending bill that averted a government shutdown.

During a CBS News interview on Sunday, “Face the Nation” anchor Margaret Brennan asked McCarthy to respond to Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) announcing that he intends to file a “motion to vacate” against McCarthy this coming week.
“That’s nothing new. He’s tried to do that from the moment I ran for [the] office,” McCarthy said. “Yes, I’ll survive,” he added when pressed to respond to the latest threat. …
The Florida Republican accused McCarthy of breaching an “agreement” with conservatives that allowed McCarthy to become speaker after 15 rounds of voting in January and dealing with Democrats to “really blow past spending guardrails we’d set up.” …
With leaders of the House Democrats saying they “expect” McCarthy to queue up a Ukraine aid vote when the House returns, Gaetz also faulted the speaker over what he called a “side deal” with the other party. But, in the end, Gaetz admitted he believes Democrats will “bail out” McCarthy. …

These kind of things happen when you do not have a heart for God! You try to LEAD yourself and look away from your Master
All I can say is democrats will never publicly oust one of their own! Not even a low-down snake! It seems some Republicans want other Republicans to be perfect, when they themselves aren’t perfect! FATHER GOD please help us! Let folks that ousted McCarthy fall into their own trap that they set for him in JESUS NAME!

I believe You are stirring and exposing the lawlessness, corruption and dangers in our government and nation. I believe Paul’s words to the Colossians: He proclaimed TRUTH with the goal being as one with the Messiah…he strived with all the energy that YOU STIRRED UP so mightily within him. I pray You are stirring up every atom and molecule to move in accordance with Your purposes and command. I pray each of us know this deeply and personally. I am praying in the Name of Jesus Christ, who became everything by Your Powerful Word. I am praying in Holy Spirit Power, who makes the salvation of souls possible. I am praying for Your Glory as it is so good for us, save us Father. Amen
McCarthy should be made to keep his promises or be removed from the Speaker position. He is a Rino from California who is showing his colors. I admire Matt Gaetz for trying to get the job done by removing McCarthy. I pray that the Lord will remove the leaders that do not do the will of God and replace them with God Fearing servants who keep promises they make to God’s people.
What promises did McCarthy make that he did not keep? Just curious?

Jettie, I was drawn back to this article and I believe, to read your prayer. Amen, sister! I so agree and just wanted to share that my ALL TIME prayer has become, “Please direct my thinking Lord.” Yes ma’am, only in HIM is TRUTH. Peace to you!
