I Prayed have prayed
Father, do not let us live in fear. Help us to take a stand for our biblical values.

They elected a Democratic legislature and Democrat Gov. Ralph “Blackface” Northam, and they have been suffering under arrogant, freedom-crushing government ever since. Here is the latest result of their government’s utter disregard for the rights of the people.

Three Christian schools and a Christian network of pregnancy centers are suing the state to prevent implementation of a so-called LGBTQ rights law that is actually a “replace religion with the state’s beliefs” law. As always, it has one of those benign names that obscure its destructive and partisan intent: the “Virginia Values Act.”

As Tyler O’Neil at PJ Media reports, the lawsuit charges that the state is requiring “ministries to hire employees who disagree with their beliefs on marriage, sexuality, and gender; mandate that the ministries hire employees whose beliefs and lifestyles are ‘antagonistic to the ministries’ convictions;’ prohibit the ministries from firing employees who oppose their missions; require the ministries to provide services in a manner that violates their beliefs; ban the ministries from even communicating their biblical beliefs; make the ministries use their facilities in a way that contradicts their beliefs; and force the ministries to pay for ‘gender reassignment’ procedures in their health plans, even though the ministries object to these procedures.”

And if they refuse to substitute the state’s PC values for their own? They will “face investigations, an onerous administrative process, fines up to $100,000 (!) for each violation, unlimited compensatory and punitive damages and attorney-fee awards, and court orders forcing them to engage in actions that would violate their consciences.”

The lawsuit charges that the law “targets the Ministries by singling out their religious speech and belief for hostility, and by showing favoritism towards, preferring, and promoting religious beliefs that approve of same-sex marriage and transgender ideology.” In doing so, it unconstitutionally relegates religious people to the status of “second-class citizens, outsiders, and not full members of the community.”

Since the Democrats took over with a 55-45 majority in the House and a scant 21-19 majority in the Senate, they have repeatedly shown contempt for the wishes of the citizens (who have protested in droves to no avail) and the First and Second Amendments.

Here’s a little math to mull over: Virginia has over 6.25 million residents over age 18, and in the last election, over 3.6 million didn’t vote. Northam beat the Republican by less than 235,000 votes. How many of those 3.6 million non-voters are people of faith who didn’t realize that not bothering to vote would result in an all-out assault on their religious freedom? Well, now they know.

That’s the cost of not voting: having the left attempt to force its version of “Virginia’s values” on you and your church in place of your real, constitutionally-protected Biblical values.

A lawsuit shouldn’t even be necessary. The Bill of Rights should have reigned supreme from day one. Now that you know how much respect Democrats have for it, the solution is simple: go to the polls and vote as if your right to hold your own sacred beliefs depends on it — because as Virginia has made chillingly clear, it does.

PS – To prove that some people understand that protecting First Amendment rights is more important than immediate partisan advantage, the American Humanist Association has filed an amicus brief, supporting the Alliance Defending Freedom in a Supreme Court case defending a Christian student’s right to share his faith on a Georgia college campus outside of the designated “free speech” zone.

It sounds as if the atheist group has read the famous poem that starts, “First they came for…” You can’t use the First Amendment to protect your right not to believe in God after it’s been destroyed by people who want to take away the rights of those who do believe.

Thank you for this reminder. We live in a country where voting is a great thing. A blessing from God, we should be thankful and use our vote wisely.

being asleep at the switch can create a bloody train wreck! Lord have mercy on your bride when she is too lazy or fearful to speak, make herself heard! I myself have been experiencing a ferousious spirit rising up to a new level to be heard where before in order to avoid confortation (which is not my true nature as a person) I used to stay silent. Many of us want to be peacemakers thinking this is the godly attitude, however Jesus said He did not come to bring peace to the earth, but a sword…see Mt.10:34….then there is…God has called us to live in peace…Mt. 7:15b. So, what to do? The Disciples understood what to do…know the truth and stand by, for the truth as the Spirit of truth reveals it, leave the results up to God. We must be in the Spirit of God when we are confronting someone or something. And even that must not be construed to fit our own narrative! Jesus confronted sin in many different ways..even saying to His beloved Peter, get behind me Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of man..Mt.16:23. He called the religious Pharisees and Sadducees a brood of vipers! Mt.3:7. Our Lord is harshest with who had the word and did not keep it or understand it when it was right in front of their face! To me this is where we need to allow daily His scrutiny of our thoughts, heart condition, actions or lack of, detailed repentance following, to escape seeing the speck in someone else’s eye when we may have a board in our own. My prayer myself is please Lord help me to see daily any hypocracy I may have been guilty of so that when I speak it will be out of a pure purpose to lead or guide those who know You or do not , so we can combat the enemy from a strong in -our -Lord -foothold. In Jesus name, Amen!

Lord, all across our nation we pray that the Holy Spirit would awaken God-fearing men and women to vote for life and liberty in this election. May the conviction be so strong that they will have no peace until they obey you. I call upon You to send a tsunami of voters across our nation who will make righteous choices and defeat the enemy’s agenda for America. God’s will for America be done! In Jesus’Name!

I do not believe that its okay for people who are agnostic, bisexual, bisexuality, transgender are of the Lord…he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for some of those very reasons. My Lord does not wish me to mingle with the but to flee away from the defiled. They do not belong working in the house of the Lord!
