IFA is part of an amazing work God is doing through Bibles in Schools.

A woman in Louisiana read about Bibles in Schools through IFA’s newsletter. She shared it with her pastors and church group. They purchased 28 copies of the Action Bible and were able to distribute them to 13 schools in one district.

A woman in Arizona named Marissa also heard about Bibles in Schools through IFA. She offered to help by sending out emails to school librarians. She went the extra mile by calling and following up. Seventy-six schools within two districts received ten bibles each, totaling 760 bibles. Wow!

Marissa met with a librarian in one district who was retiring. She was so grateful to have been a part of getting Bibles into the libraries and rightfully so. What a legacy to leave behind!

All of these stories were inspiring, but these are my favorite. One story comes from a twelve-year-old boy in Pennsylvania. He told his librarian that he takes his Bible home every day. He shared that he, along with his mother and sister, are reading three chapters a night together. Isn’t that beautiful?

Another story comes from a fourth grader in Virginia who had seven siblings. He kept checking out the Action Bible repeatedly. His mother reached out and asked if he could have his own Bible. He was given a personal Bible and was so excited for it.

Children are hungry for the word of God. Thank God for a ministry that is blessing children nationwide!

These are just reports from what Hannah has heard but imagine the untold stories.

Hannah shared that the last time IFA shared about Bibles in Schools the response was overwhelming. She received so many emails of people wanting to help.

Here’s how you can help.

Share, share, share. As word of mouth spreads, we believe so will the Word of God. Share with your churches. Share with your personal connections. Share with your teacher friends.

This is a spiritual battle.

There is opposition as many hear the word ‘Bible’ and shut it off. We need people who will go to their schools and share that you want Bibles in the libraries. When a district says no, we cannot force them, but we can pray and trust that God can open the doors against any opposition.” Hannah states.

Pray for open doors for Bibles to come into our school libraries, but that all involved in the reviewing process would come to know Jesus Christ.

Pray for your school districts.

Hannah states that libraries are in the spotlight right now. “Many districts are changing their policies of how they accept books. Some doors have closed because schools are no longer accepting any donations. This means they will not accept Bible donations either.”

Pray for more organizations to partner with Bibles in Schools. Hannah shared how blessed they were to have IFA’s coverage and how much it helped. Her prayer is for others to partner with and spread the word as well.

Hannah made a compelling statement. She said, “Some policies are changing. We don’t know how much time we have. There may come a day where having Bibles will be completely banned from schools or even mentioning the name of Jesus. It’s imperative we make an impact now.

How wonderful would it be to end this school year with an exponential boom of Bibles in schools and into the hands of children?

Father,

We thank you for Your Word. What a privilege it is to have access to Your promises, wisdom, and life-giving Word!

We thank You for the ministry of Bibles in Schools and ask You to bless and increase their influence and effectiveness. We pray for divine partnerships as the message of children having Bibles in their libraries spreads. We pray for increase financially and in donations so the ministry would prosper and precious lives would continue to be touched by Your Word.

As policies are changing, and some districts will no longer accept Bible donations, we seek Your face and ask for favor. You are the Waymaker and who can stand against You? We pray that every librarian, reviewer, parent who is coming into contact with Your Word be transformed. Your Word is living and active, and we praise You for every seed that is being planted in the process.

We thank You in advance for the increase that is coming. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Child Evangelism Fellowship wants to have an after-school Bible Club, called a Good News Club, in every school in America. The Supreme Court ruled in 2001 that it is legal to have these clubs if there are any other after school clubs offered. What is needed is an army of trained volunteers from local Bible believing churches. Contact Child Evangelism Fellowship to get involved. I am a Director in New Jersey and would eagerly train you to help reach our children today! Over 80% of American children did not know anything about the God of the Bible before COVID hit. Now, even more children desperately need to know about Jesus’ salvation work so they can choose to believe.

Just LOVE The Action Bible. It comes in many age-appropriate versions for youngsters, teens, even young adults, and my husband and I gave these as gifts this past Christmas. Since they are graphic novels and look like comic books, kids are excited to read them.

WONDERFUL to see they’re in school libraries! Praise Jesus!

Wonderful article – We are part of a Ministry called “Dove Bible Club”, an after-school program that brings the gospel to Elementary Schools, primarily in Brevard County. Fl. DBC was founded by Loretta Dozier, a wonderful, Spirit-filled Christian who loves God’s children. This program could easily be duplicated all over the nation!

I , am encouraged to put good things in schools instead of just trying to keep out the bad.
