We pray for wisdom and revelation knowledge for those in charge to know and understand what the Word of God says in such matters. For years age requirements have been accepted for many things, 16 to drive a car (after passing a test) 21 to purchase/consume alcohol, 18 to vote and sign contracts, and quite interestingly I think 25 years old before you can rent a car and before driver’s/car insurance cost goes down. This has been based on “the science” that the brain continues to develop, especially frontal cortex, until the age of twenty-five. We have always referred to the teenage years as years of angst, self discovery, constant change, the ups and downs of emotions and thoughts that accompany puberty. We have never before let children make life altering, life long impacting, irreversible decisions – it would be unthinkable to place such a burden, of such a consequence laden decision upon a child. This is the true child abuse – not protecting our children from themselves (which parents normally do) not protecting them from social media and this resulting social contagion, – children change their minds about the food, music, clothes, friends, activities they like constantly as they change and grow – we don’t give them the choice to play in the street when they are young, not wanting them to be hit by a car. We insist they play ball or whatever in the safety of the yard. (after 18, if they choose to play in traffic, that’s on them – but we’ve gotten them safely to 18 and maybe by now they are able to see the danger of playing in the street for themselves)
Destroying the healthy bodies of children with puberty blockers, hormones and surgery is criminal not to mention life altering and irreversible. We have never treated children like adults before, for good reason. The threat of suicide is often used as coercion but what about suicide post hormones and surgery? That data is suppressed, we don’t hear the stories of regret as the victims of these surgeries mature. Their voices are being silenced. (Cloe is one who is speaking out) Never before have we asked children to make adult decisions – we don’t consult our children on finances, our spending, our careers, – we seek guidance from other adults. Why now would we let our children dictate their health care when they are not equipped to make these kinds of life long impactful decisions? Clearly laws like this one in California are designed to create division in families, take away parent’s rights, destroy the nuclear family, confuse and sterilize a generation of children by doing irreversible harm to their bodies and their minds and their lives – taking away their God given identities and attempting to replace that with some state created persona dictated by all the available options of different, made up, man made “genders” and identities. Lord, help us! You created each one of us perfectly, You are the Potter, we are the clay. We are Your masterpieces, the world is trying to convince us we are junk and that we need to remake ourselves in the image that we come up with. Pure rebellion and idolatry. Please give us Your wisdom in how to save and protect our children from this evil that seeks to destroy them, body, mind and soul. Our children are being deceived like Eve in the garden, led to believe You do not have our best interests at heart. Let Your truth expose all the lies upon which this transgender ideology is built and let it collapse under the weight of Your truth. Please save us from ourselves. Only Your truth can set us free. Change the hearts of those in the medical community who would perform these unnecessary surgeries on healthy bodies – convict them of this evil and may they speak up and become protectors of children, who when young need to be protected from themselves because they think as children.
