What is the Arkansas Student Protection Act ?
The Arkansas legislature has overwhelmingly passed a bill that would ban Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers from providing resources in the state’s public schools.
The legislation, which passed in the state Senate Monday by a vote of 27-5, and earlier in the state House by a vote of 73-18, would block Planned Parenthood from providing sex education programs in schools.
The measure was signed by Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) on Thursday.
Arkansas lawmakers recently overrode the governor’s veto on a bill that prohibits minors from receiving transgender drugs and gender transition surgeries.
In March, Hutchinson signed a bill into law that bans most abortions in the state except those to save the life of the mother.
The Arkansas Student Protection Act (HB 1592) states:
A public school or open-enrollment public charter school shall not knowingly enter into any type of transaction with an individual or entity that: (1) Performs abortions; (2) Induces abortions; or (3) Provides abortions.
If signed into law and enacted, a school that violates the law would be required to “appear before the state board” to determine why it was violated and how to prevent violating it in the future.

Well done, Arkansas! God will bless you! The legislators in Arkansas are courageous, bold, and standing for godly values! We need other state legislators and governors to do the same.
Lord, thank you for this step taken by Arkansas for protecting and preserving life by removing an organization that ends life out of the classroom. Lord, we need you back in our schools. Our children need to have how they are fearfully and wonderfully made by You. Life is sacred Lord. Thank you for the actions Arkansas took this week!

PP is the worst type of trojan horse – preying on not only the innocent and unprotected in the womb but on children’s young and impressionable minds. They are parasites with an insatiable appetite for evil that they disguise as “rights”.

Father of Heaven and earth and Gov. Asa Hutchinson, I so thank you for the wisdom, strength and conviction you have embedded in this man. I pray you would continue to cover ALL Godly legislation with your impenetrable approval. I pray Gloria Pedro and all other representatives of the adversary in Planned Parenthood, would get a good look at the face of evil, up close and personally. I pray You would allow them to understand fully who they serve… repent and be saved. You said to Jeremiah, “Is not My word like fire, and like a hammer which shatters a rock?” I pray with all earnestness for Your total demolition on Abortion. Demolition on those harvesting these tiny victims for monetary gain. Demolition on those pushing this as acceptable. “No one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” May wickedness never be foundational Father. Praise God!!! The legislature in Arkansas is setting a great example for other states to follow. Lord, please bless Arkansas and their courageous legislature. Please put a hedge of protection around the people of Arkansas, and their elected legislature. I pray that other states will enact similar legislation– the curse of abortion is an abomination, and anything that can be done to minimize its effect on school-age children must be stopped.
