ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT PRAYING FOR ISRAEL?
Have you heard of the Isaiah 62 prayer initiative? Sponsored by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, it is a monthly prayer initiative for Israel.
According to ICEJ, churches, groups and individuals around the world are joining monthly to pray for Israel according to the command of Isaiah 62:
I have set watchmen on your walls O Jerusalem;
They shall never hold their peace day or night.
You who make mention of the Lord do not keep silent,
And give Him no rest till He establishes
And He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth (Isaiah 62:6-7).
If you are interested, check out the website, International Christian Embassy Jerusalem. They also have excellent monthly prayer points for corporate or individual prayer and encourage praying in agreement on the first Wednesday of every month as intercession resounds around the globe throughout the day.

Heavenly Father, Thank You for choosing the Nation of Israel through which our beloved Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ came. Thank You for Your love for the Jewish people. I love who you love and I honor Israel through whose roots I was grafted in. Please remove the veil from their minds, hearts and eyes so they will see their Messiah, the One Who they pierced. Thank You, for keeping Your covenant with their ancestors Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Please continue to be a wall of fire around Jerusalem and the glory in their midst, according to Zechariah 2:5. I pray for the government of Israel. Grant wisdom and the fear of God as they govern the people in righteousness and justice. In Jesus Name
Lord God Almighty
I join ICEJs monthly calls and pray for Israel’s protection, knowledge of Yeshua as their Messiah. Also ask God to reveal His Love to the Muslims and other religions there. I pray continually for the protection of Israel’s borders by the Lord Sabaoth – Lord of hosts. he is He is El-Gibbor – Mighty God. He wields a mighty sword and He has given us His powerful Word (Sword of the Spirit) as part of the full armor of God. Ephesians 6
Lord, I ask for Your will to be done in Israel’s elections (the government is upon Your shoulder). Teach us to be humble, contrite, effectual, repentant and fervent in prayer for what is on Your heart. You have permission to wake me, to interrupt me whenever You call Intercessors.
All Glory and honor and praise to He who sits upon the throne, who rides upon the clouds. Amen
I pray that God would bless Israel with a good leader in these re-elections that his heart and actions would bless and protect the country.
This is an amazing country that is leading the world in inventions, agriculture, technology etc., benefiting many nations. May all the people returning back to Israel be blessed in their new life and all their needs be met abundantly.
God bless Israel!
There are dozens of Scriptures where God says that we should pray for the peace of Israel. In Psalm 122:6 it says, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure.” Not only does this say that we should pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and by extension, Israel, we read that “those who love you [will] be secure.” This is a clear signal that God would be pleased that we pray for Israel’s peace and safety because God is not giving up on Israel (Rom 10:1).
I pray daily for Israel. I have been there twice, love The Land, and would love to go back but due to age cannot anymore. If you get a chance to go, you should go. It is a terrific experience and opens the Bible up like no other. I love Israel.
