Major answered prayer in Virginia pushing back on the transgender movement in schools! Governor Youngkin is keeping his promise to parents. Here are the highlights. Parents’ rights are fundamental and must be adhered. Parents of transgender students must provide legal documentation of name change. Parents should be given the right to opt their children out of using bathrooms with students of the opposite sex and must have alternative facility available. No compelled speech! No teacher or student is required to use pronouns inconsistent with legal documentation.
From Just the News. The Virginia Education Department announced new model policies regarding the treatment of transgender students in the state’s public schools in guidance that separates students by biological sex and gives parents the sole authority to change their children’s names and pronouns in school.
The wide-ranging policies include stating that schools will be prevented from referring to students by a name or pronoun other than that reflected on their official records unless a student’s parent has instructed in writing for a different name or pronoun to be used.

Father God I thank you that you are a merciful compassionate GOD, full of grace forgiveing from generation to generation. Father you said that children are a heritage and gift from the Lord and that we should train them up in the way that they should go, Father not in the way we think they should go, but in the fear and admonition of the the Lord. Father I ask that you rebuke the enemies plots and schemes against our children, that the Law would concider transitioning a child a crime and that any such influence be be considered an abomination in the sight of humanity. Father we should not have to be in discussion or in dispute out how to refer to a trans child, Father God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob there should be no such thing, I cry out to You this day regarding the ramifications surrounding this abomination I asks that You put a hedge of protection around the children worldwide and Your righteous judgment against those that prey on children including the parents. I pray that You will fill any void in the hearts of mankind bring them into agreement with your Word, since you desire all men to be saved and come to the acknowledgement of the Truth, Father God my Your Will be done on earth and in the lives of our children as is in heaven in the Holy and Righteous Name of JESUS I pray Amen.
tweens and teens can be so impressionable, especially at a time when they are struggling n school with issues such as their looks, popularity, fitting in, and sexuality. Parental rights are an important layer of protection for youth and should be legally protected until legal adulthood. The trans issue can become a bandwagon vehicle for attention and protection that some kids are desperately seeking at that age, youth struggling and failing to attain the high standards of appearance that society sets for them can easily escape those pressures adopting a genderless or opposite gender look. (who hasnt heard the stories about kids who were struggling to fit in who found a niche there for a while)
Father in the name of Jesus, I ask for Holy Spirit to lead and multiply prayers of faith for parents and minors across America who truly need them, especially those who will face strong sexual and gender confusion,and those who may be tempted to join the Trans bandwagon for real or even solely for the instant attention and protection it offers…Father American youth, their sexuality, sexual morality, and the family unit in general, have been under assault for years as part of a demonic last days agenda to destroy lives and families, to isolate family members from each other who live under the same roof, to remove the layer of parental attention and protection youth so desperately need. Marriages have been under assault driving up the number of divorces and broken families in America, finances have been under assault forcing American parents to work longer hours and even go into debt to keep up and provide the American dream for their kids, thus they are distracted parents,
High numbers of divorces push families into even greater isolation and debt dividing them into multiple one income households with unaffordable rent and real estate, and sky rocketing prices for necessities. Father families have become distracted and exhausted just trying to stay together, live together in peace, and stay financially afloat. Father intervene please, we ask you to rain down an urging on the wicked and the righteous, the agnostics and the atheists, to “consider God, and call out to you so that you can intervene and and rain down help, hope, and wisdom in these evil days. Father the depths of depravity and temptation have increased dramatically in just a few years and there are more and diverse pressure on families, marriages, youth, churches, and schools, than ever. Father only you can protect your creation, only you can protect sexuality, marriages, and family at this point and help them to stay within the boundaries you intended for them at creation. Father demonic ententies and their human cohorts have unleashed an all out onslaught in the physical, physical, emotional and spiritual realms, and used every entity they can in government, entertainment, medical, and pharma, and education, to confuse, distract, overcome and destroy faith, morality, lives, marriages and families. Father intervene. Wake up and revive your church and equip us with all right depths of conviction gifts, scriptures and faith necessary in these days to overcome ourselves, and die to ourselves, and rescue as many others as possible.
Father the days are far more dark and evil than we could have ever imagined 20 and even 10 years ago, that they would or even could be. Help your church to help others in your world in these evil days to seek you, find you and serve you. In Jesus name we ask and believe, and thank you for hearing us and promising to answer us. A scripture that has been coming to mind lately is from Isaiah 26 When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness. Father your word says love never fails, but Isaiah tells us that even when grace is shown to the wicked they do not always learn righteousness, but when your judgments come, people of tge earth WILL learn righteousness. Father pour out tge right mix of grace, love, and judgments to save your world in our day and usher in the spiritual revival we need. We thank you and praise you for your word,for leading our prayers, and answering them.
Well I am commenting on the 28th and this article is from 2 days ago but I pretty much agree with most of the people here.. just putting a Band-Aid on this situation doesn’t make you ot away.. we have back pedaled when we declare that these incremental victories -,if they can be called victories- really do any good at all.. I will agree that this evil encroached upon us very slowly.. incrementally.. but it must be done away with all at once -,and all together.
And -Governor youngkin-,we were warned about him.. that he is really supported by globalists-,when he was in campaign for his current office about 3 years ago I think it was.
Lord, support in the courage and power of your spirit- to stand up against the evil in our land -,not in a way that allows for the assault on us to incrementally creep in continually.. but let us stand against it up all at once and decisively.

I fail to see how truth, freedom and reality is “winning” in Virginia. Permitting students with gender dysphoria to use bathrooms and lockerroms of the opposite sex is a gross violation of privacy. it is delusional.
The solution: create a general bathroom space for those who suffer from this tragic mental gender disorder.
Furthermore, to refer to a biological female as “they,” “it,” “him,” or , “he” is to deny reality.
How would you treat my child if he brought a pet rabbit to school for show-and-tell, yet claimed it was a dog simply because I provided notarized written documentation that it was indeed a dog.
Maybe grades should be subjective too. I think my “they” will graduate middle school with all As this year because I’m a parent who believes my child is a genius, has the potential to be a genius, or simply and desperately wants to be a genius.

I wholeheartedly agree with you YW. This is not a solution to the problem. This transgender agenda should be completely removed from all schools. Our children do not go to school to learn this, they go to school to learn: reading, writing, math, history, (correct history) science, (correct science, a boy is a boy and a girl is a girl). Not these lies, that are harming these poor children. This is child abuse and should be illegal at all schools.
When you teach a child to not accept who they are at birth, a boy or a girl, you are teaching them an anti-Christ spirit. They should be blessed, happy, and at peace that they were born a boy or a girl. Not to hate themselves or deny who they are. That is self hatred. We need to get back to being thankful to Jesus for who He made us to be. We do not have the the right to make a 3rd option. We are not God. An Anti-Christ spirit goes against God’s perfect plan, He does not make junk. We are made in His image and He is good, wonderful, Just, Righteous, Holy. He is Love. We should not be teaching our children to reject that. And that is what this transgender agenda is doing. It should not be in our school system or anywhere.

Unfortunately changing names DO NOT change anyone’s sex! That decision was made at birth! Letting them be called anything else does nothing! They need help to overcome or handle their mental issue! Help them carry their cross!!
Praise GOd. Parents are the ones to direct and guide their children. No school, counselor, teacher or peer group should have any authority or pressure to change a name or action of a child.

A starting point victory is something to be very thankful for. How many YEARS did fighting slavery take William Wilberforce? The hard hard battle cost him his health.
No matter what the subject or which mountain needs to be removed, if there is any compromise, it won’t work. That is my humble opinion. So this great victory in Virginia will still have pitfalls because of compromise. Since when are we given authority to comrpomise with the infallible Word of God??? If you were born a girl, you are a female. If you were born a boy, you are a male. Is that too hard to understand? READ THE SCRIPTURE!!!!

This is a good start. But still, there are too many parents that will go in and change pronouns. Just another thing for a teacher to have to do. I long for common sense to prevail, but that requires a God centered country. Without him we live in a dog eat dog society.

We are unsure how this is a win when Youngkin insists teachers accommodate woke parents assigning a new name to a child who is not grounded in sexual reality. This aspect of these new rules advances the myth of trans-sexualization.
Heavenly Father, we ask You to wake up the citizenry to go on offense instead of defense. We pray that You give courage to those who advance Your kingdom and Your Word in the education of Virginia’s children. Reveal Your Son to the hearts of the children and give them an unusual boldness and strength to stand firm on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Protect them from the enemy and rescue those trapped in this damaging lifestyle.

I agree with your comments. And I am in Virginia. While this appears to be a step in the right direction, the details may tell a different story. Why is it that the student who objects to using a bathroom with the opposite sex is given a separate bathroom to use? Shouldn’t it be the student who insists they are the opposite sex? (One high school in my school district is currently renovating to eliminate all single gender bathrooms.) And what about locker rooms? And is it both parents and/or legal guardians who are required to legally consent to a name and a pronoun change? In my school district in Montgomery County, the former superintendent was actually fired because his ex-wife insisted on changing the name and pronoun of their daughter, while he vehemently protested that. The school board gave in to one parent’s demand, while ignoring the other. (He, Mark Miear, is now running for school board. Please pray that he takes that seat and unseats one of the most entrenched bullies on the school board this fall. And pray for her – salvation, change of mindset – as well. Thank you.!)
Lord, your kingdom come on this earth, in Virginia, and in Montgomery county in the New River Valley, as it is in Heaven! I pray for the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual deliverance of all students and adults from this horrendous set of beliefs and ideologies, and the grooming that goes along with them particularly in the school systems, in Virginia and elsewhere! Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! I pray that Holy Spirit will come and burn out from us as a people, all things that do not belong. Come, bring conviction, repentance, and revival in our schools, and even in the school board meetings! Also, I pray for the change of mind in Governor Youngkin, that all teaching of this sinful and destructive ideology would be legally removed from our school systems and elsewhere, not just accommodated! I have a child in the Montgomery County School district and I am totally oblivious to what you mentioned, but have been in communication with the school regarding egregious implementation of this LGBT agenda, I have made them aware of what my child could not participate in. Unfortunately, I dont know how much they are actually abiding by, but i will pop up at the school to make my presence know and will reiterate and reiterate to my child that as my child they are not allowed to participate in any ungodly behavior and/or come into agreement with it and back them up with Scriptures. I have sent Scripture to the teachers and principal(s) so they understand what is being taught in my home and why i cannot come into agreement with the abomination of the LGBQT…nonsense. I just want to remove my child from the Public school, but these Christians schools I have found thus far, I can’t even articulate the disappointment, my heart is so heavy, as my child is so impressionable by this world’s ungodliness, I am trying to live by Faith and not Sight, but what a Sight it is…
I just continue to lift Pray to the Almighty God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob to send HIS Angels orders concerning His mercy, grace and protection of our child against all ungodliness, in Jesus name Amen.
