There is a biblical principle that tells us to be careful in what we align ourselves with. What we come into agreement with, and align ourselves to, bears weight in the Spirit and has consequences.

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? (2 Corinthians 6:14-16)

The Lord reminded me of a powerful dream I had in late 2017 about God’s judgments being rendered on a “platform” near Washington D.C. Given the recent legislation issues concerning abortion and the outcry among believers, I believe this word not only warns of the dangers of our alignments with certain political platforms, but is also an invitation to execute justice in heavenly places through our prayers and proclamations:

I saw the region surrounding Washington D.C. and a platform that someone was standing on. It was in the midst of a vast ocean that was dark and swirling. I saw a huge GAVEL from heaven coming down from above, ready to strike the platform. I knew the one standing on the platform was unaware of the judgment coming. I needed to warn him.

Those who saw from a distance avoided the crash of the gavel – the first time. Suddenly, an unexpected immense wall of water came from behind this platform, carrying another gavel. I saw it emerge from the depths, but this time, the HANDLE of the gavel came directly to ME – as if an invitation to take it – and use it. The force of the water was so great there was no avoiding the crush of the wave. Even so, the gavel had power over it. As I struggled to keep my head above the water, I felt something at my feet – as if a warning. Watch my feet…

I believe God is letting us know His intentions. The demonic agenda attached to any political platform aligned against His Word and against LIFE, WILL be judged. Those who align themselves with it will experience the weight of this judgment, thus the need to proclaim His Word and expose the lies. He is inviting us to take our seat in the heavenly courts to execute justice through prayer and proclamation.

We do this by declaring His Word, taking a righteous stand for life, and most importantly, walking a righteous walk. The enemy is trying to disqualify our prayers by tripping up our own walk and testimony of faith in God – don’t let him. It is our obedience to the Father and our submission to His Word that has authority in the Spirit to crush our enemies. The godly legislation needed on the land starts in the heavens.

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night. (Psalms 1:1-2)
