I Prayed have prayed
Thank you Lord for Naomi Scott and other Hollywood actors willing to speak of their faith and hope that lies in You.

“Good morning, Charlie…”

Naomi Scott, who recently appeared in the live-action Aladdin, stars alongside Kristen Stewart (Twilight) and Elizabeth Banks (Hunger Games) in the reboot of Charlie’s Angels.

Movieguide ® particularly enjoyed Aladdin, and Scott’s portrayal of Princess Jasmine because she demonstrated many characteristics of which young girls can aspire. With this in mind, we’ve compiled a list of three facts you might not know about this upcoming starlet.

Pray for Hollywood influencers with our special prayer resource: Is God in Hollywood?

  1. She’s a Christian

“[My faith] is the foundation of every decision I make, and of my marriage,” the actress told British VOGUE in May 2019.

Scott, who’s married to soccer player Jordan Spence, unpacked that fame won’t be the crux of their lives on the eve of ALADDIN’S release as she looked forward to CHARLIE’S ANGELS too.

She said, ‘we’re young people with big aspirations. I want to be a power couple, I want to make all the money and have a big house, but sometimes Jordan and I say, ‘ok, if I never acted in a movie again, if he never set foot on a football pitch, would our world fall apart?’”

With Christ at the center, we certainly don’t think it would!

  1. She’s proud that CHARLIE’S ANGELS doesn’t highlight female promiscuity

“You don’t see bikini shots of their bums, ” Scott told British VOGUE. She also said, “You don’t see much about their personal lives or who they’re dating. It’s about the agency going global, getting into intelligence and tech, whistleblowing.”

  1. She’s an ambassador for the United Kingdom branch of the Christian child sponsorship program Compassion International

Compassion International’s goal is to end child poverty through child sponsorship.

Scott shared her involvement with Compassion via Instagram, A few months ago I had the privilege of going to the beautiful Rwanda to see how Compassion’s ‘child survival projects’ change the lives of women across the world. I have worked with this charity for years and love their approach, working with communities and families to empower the next generation to break the vicious cycle of poverty.”

Praying this couple keeps their strong witness and do not compromise!

I’ve been an artist rep for Compassion International for about 20 years, and I can confirm they’re doing great work! We just met our fifth Compassion child in Nairobi, and once again we were impressed with the work they’re doing, especially to share Christ with the children. I asked the head of a Compassion site in Honduras how many of them accept the Lord as their personal Saviour. He laughed at me and said, “Well all of them, of course!” You can see all of their hands go up when I asked them how many want to know Jesus more at http://www.RichDrama.com/Compassion
