Republican Bill Would Guarantee Unborn Babies Have a Right to Life Starting at Conception

Pro-life House Republicans urged Congress to vote this month on a bill that would guarantee the right to life for unborn babies from the moment of conception.
Townhall reports U.S. Rep. Bob Good, R-Virginia, introduced a resolution Friday to require a House vote on the Life at Conception Act (HR 1011).
Sponsored by U.S. Rep. Alex Mooney, R-West Virginia, the bill would provide equal protection for every human being, born and unborn, under the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. It states that the terms “human person” and “human being” in the Constitution must include every member of the human race at all stages of life, “including the moment of fertilization, cloning, or other moment at which an individual member of the human species comes into being.”
Good said Congress should act boldly to protect unborn babies from abortion, especially considering that the U.S. Supreme Court may overturn Roe v. Wade this summer…. (Excerpt from LIFENEWS.COM)
