I Prayed have prayed
Father, give our leaders wisdom on how to address the mental health crisis and put systems in place to help those struggling with it.

These shootings are tragic, but recent history shows that the role of mental health has been neglected. We must pray for healing in America.

From The Center Square. After 32 people were killed 15 years ago in a shooting at Virginia Tech, many state and federal safety recommendations were made, but not all were implemented.

Today, many are left wondering how to prevent yet another mass shooting after the massacre of at least 19 elementary school students on Tuesday in Uvalde, Texas.

In 2007, then-President George W. Bush ordered his cabinet to come up with a series of recommendations after the shooting. The group made more than 30 local, state and federal recommendations.

Many of the measures, which focused on mental health rather than gun control, have not been adopted on a national basis.

The top finding from the Bush report was: “Education officials, healthcare providers, law enforcement personnel, and others are not fully informed about when they can share critical information on persons who are likely to be a danger to self or others, and the resulting confusion may chill legitimate information sharing.”

Bush’s cabinet secretaries also recommended broader implementation of the FBI’s National Instant Background checks, “improved awareness and communication” and better mental health services.

Our problem is a sin problem, no doubt about that. It is also a moral problem. We have lost our values that anchored us. Based on Judeo- Christian values. While I believe 100% in the supernatural and believe there are demons and principalities in the dark unseen world. I also think God’s laws protected us more than we know. There were writers in the 1920’s to 40’s who were writing about the decline of the church. We did not listen or take heed. We kept going in the same trajectory. Which led to more ungodlessness. It is still hard to get people to pray! Perhaps because the enemy fights this spiritual discipline more than the others. It is where we connect into the vine. The Bible does not say “my house will be called a house if worship, or my house will be called a house of sermons, etc.” It says my house will be called a house of prayer.” I have met many Pastors who don’t like that statement. Values help the ungodly because it gives them moorings. There us a code of conduct. We don’t need them because we automatically want to do them if we are surrendered to Christ. Laws are for law breakers, afterall. We need a revival in the church first. We must humble ourselves and bow down and turn from our wicked ways (whatever form they may take).

I know I am very opiniated, and some people don’t like it. I think it has to start with us!

When did demon possession or obsession become mental illness? We in the true body of CHRIST need to include binding of these demons in our daily prayers! To set the captives free! All of these shooters of schools had in common demonic music, demonic games, demonic obsession of lucifer! Who spoke to them to shoot up schools? Demons that’s who! America has a sin problem! A very weak so-called body of CHRIST problem! A looking for excuses and solutions outside of scripture problem! FATHER GOD please equip YOUR intercessors with YOUR discernment like the sons of Issachar who understood the times they were living in! Let intercessors seek out knowledge from YOUR WORD for the things we see going on daily; and knowledge also from YOUR WORD as to how to pray for every situation we encounter in JESUS NAME! Let us stop repeating what the world says, and inquire instead as to “what thus sayeth our GOD” about every situation we encounter daily in JESUS NAME! Amen!
