Thomas More Society Releases Findings in Election Investigation on Behalf of Wisconsin Voter Alliance
March 1, 2022 | Wisconsin
(March 1, 2022 – Madison, Wisconsin) A private investigation conducted by the Thomas More Society on behalf of the Wisconsin Voter Alliance reveals multiple violations of election law by the state officials charged with the duties of conducting safe, fair, and legal elections. In a March 1, 2022, press conference at the state capitol’s Assembly Parlor, following a hearing of the Wisconsin General Assembly’s Campaigns and Elections Committee, Thomas More Society Special Counsel Erick Kaardal and Wisconsin Voter Alliance President Ron Heuer, will discuss election law improprieties and plans for remediation. The Thomas More Society research findings are corroborated by a report released by former state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman. Attorney Gabelman was appointed by the committee to investigate suspected election improprieties in Wisconsin’s 2020 general election.
According to both reports, election officials violated multiple state laws in administering Wisconsin’s 2020 election. Gabelman’s findings support the illegal actions uncovered in the Thomas More Society investigation. The former justice will present his findings to Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections in an informational hearing before the committee and chairperson, State Representative Janel Brandtjen (R- Menomonee Falls). The March 1 hearing will be broadcast live on Wisconsin Eye and https://vimeo.com/event/1899090 at 10 a.m. (Central).
