• 7-point Bump Overall for Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) after Opposing Build Back Better
  • 2 in 3 West Virginians Say More Government Spending Would Lead to Higher Consumer Costs

Washington, D.C. – The Save America Coalition, a group opposed to the radical far-left policies in the Big Government Socialism bill, released a new survey today showing support for Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) nearly doubling after announcing his opposition to the so-called Build Back Better bill.

“Our polling shows that no amount of political pressure or backroom deal-making will make the horrible provisions in this multi-trillion-dollar government spending bill popular with Americans,” said Brooke Rollins, President and CEO of the America First Policy Institute. “Knowing this, it is no surprise that Senator Manchin (D-WV) was able to solidify support by as much as 15-points in 10 days after vocally opposing this misguided bill.”

The poll found that most West Virginians increasingly oppose the Big Government Socialism bill, and nearly two-thirds of West Virginians believe the bill would lead to higher costs for gas and groceries.
